I found the shape of the store a little awkward, It's hard to see the menu and the counter is inset so if there are mulitple groups you kind of get in each others way. So the kiosk was welcome. We were thrilled that they come out nice and warm! The apple compote was soo good. The chocolate was nice. the doughnuts were soft and lovely. Enjoyed the cute ducks decor and for sale. The Bathroom was clean. I DO wish the utensils were in cups that didn't nearly force you to touch the eating end of them to get them out - because utensils are a must. A Great place for a quick treat - but you might be more comfortable taking it home - where you can use your own utensils! Also there is not a lot of seating. I managed to grab a lemon raspberry scone for the drive home, and I think it's my favorite scone now. Perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and exactly what you want from a great scone. Between the quality, the setting, and the variety, this is the kind of place that works just as well for a holiday centerpiece as it does for a spontaneous stop. I'm glad it's not closer to home though--it would be very hard to achieve my desired weight goals it if were. Just be sure to go early if you want the best selection of ready to eat goods.

They do have a drive-through, but be careful with parking, as there are always people pulling in and out, even on the surrounding streets. A motorcycle can use the drive through and every other drive thru in Norwood and surrounding towns allows my electric mobility scooter to use the drive through including my banks ( both of them) McDonald's , Starbucks , Burger King . They refused me service at the window on my second visit after already being served once at the drive thru in my scooter. Rather than serving me and then saying "in the future we would prefer you to come inside" the refused to serve me. Access to inside is nearly impossible when you are using a mobility device. The doors are not automatic and the open outward very awkwardly and without someone from inside holding the doors for me, I can't get inside on my own and it is embarrassing for me. I would have given less stars but all the kids who work at honey dew and the gas station are friendly and helpful and they do have good gas prices. I boycotted Mr. Franks and honey dew for over a year after I was so embarrassed and treated so poorly but the owners witch of a wife .

The issue was that I wasn't sure where to go for an online pickup, so I stood in line briefly, noticed the staff seemed occupied, and sat down at a table to wait for a natural moment to ask. At no point from the moment we walked through the door or stood in front of a cash register, were we greeted or acknowledged, which... busy or not, is pretty standard practice if a new person walks in. When we finally did ask someone about our order, we were essentially scolded in front of the entire restaurant for not speaking up sooner. We weren't frustrated about the wait. We were genuinely just asking how the online order process worked. The customer sitting at a table behind us even turned around to acknowledge how hostile the interaction felt. One great barista and one rough interaction, just sharing so the experience doesn't get repeated. I think next time I'll take the drive to the Dedham location or the well worth wait at Spot (always a good service experience there... despite how busy they always are).
