I am super picky about my hair and a trip to the salon requires a lot of pep talk because I am so anxious that I am going to come home looking worse. Finding somebody you trust enough to chop your locks is actually ridiculously stressful. Usually I end up setting up an appointment because I have no other choice since by that point I've allowed my hair grow to a length that would rival Rapunzel's. This means I typically get a serious haircut about once a year. So...basically when I saw Marie, there was A LOT to deal with (hair also happens to be thick). Anyway, I texted Marie to book an appointment - she is very responsive and easy going. When I actually meet her, I was very happy because she is not only nice but she actually knows what she is talking about. Plus she listens to your concerns, offers suggestions, doesn't push you one way or another, and doesn't ask you 50 questions while blow drying your hair. Y'all I am never actually happy when I get my hair cut - I faaaaake my reaction because I don't know what else to suggest and I don't want to offend anybody. But this time, I was genuinely pleased. So pleased, in fact, that I felt brave enough to schedule a second appointment to color my hair for the first time in over a decade! Crazy. At this appointment, I told Marie I was nervous, but I also felt like I could trust her and nothing horrible was going to happen. And you know what? Maaaaagic. My hair looks amazing. I've never received so many compliments! I wish I could bring Marie with me to my new city, but if I swing by Savannah in the future, I am totally making time for her. Other things: other stylists are also very friendly, payment is easy, location has a million parking spots, and the salon itself is clean and cute.

Always a good group of guys ready to help customers. They have up to date background music playing all the time and the guys are very helpful with giving tips about the city.
