The bahn mi and the protein options are good. Fair pricing although you can get better and cheaper in Northern Virginia. The process of ordering and picking up food from here is not amazing. The roll had a great crisp on the outside. Easy 5/5 on that. It was an all around great sandwich. My fiancée got the same but with hoisin sauce and liked hers, too. We got an order of shrimp spring rolls. Each roll had four full shrimp, fresh veggies, and a very good rice paper, and they were accompanied by a dipping container of pretty good peanut sauce. Straightforward spring rolls, but executed pretty well. At least 4/5. It's order-ahead take out only. We didn't realize that and didn't order until we were right outside, and that was within an hour of their closing time, so I was a little worried things could go awry. But, they had our order ready right on time and the pickup process was very smooth and friendly. I don't normally include special pleading for any business in my reviews... I believe the market mostly works... but this seems to be a very small business run by people who appreciate their customers, and I know the Georgetown business environment can be financially unforgiving. They're working hard to serve very good food at affordable prices, and I think the neighborhood is better for having them. I don't think I've ever had a better banh mi sandwich, and I have eaten them all over the country. Truly incredible. Bread was toasted yet soft. The ratio of protein to vegetables was perfect. What a great experience! I called in a delivery and had a ton of questions about celiac friendly gluten free options. We were recommended to stick with rice, vermicelli, and salad bowls and to pick chicken sausage or tofu for a protein. I chose the sausage on a vermicelli bowl. This place is truly beguiling. On one hand, the food is delicious (seriously, I think the pho broth was the best I've ever had) but, on the other hand, the soup portions are very small. We ordered takeout from them after having a craving for pho ga. With all of the stellar reviews, I didn't think to search to find out if the reviews were for eat in or take out. I was shocked when my order arrived that the soup broth for the takeout order was less than 16 ounces (a little more than one cup using a liquid measure). In addition, the noodles were nearly uncooked (very hard), which would make sense if there was sufficient broth to finish cooking them. The icing on the cake was the soup accoutrement, which added up to a literal three bean spouts, ample basil, and a slice of onion. Again, the flavor of the broth was excellent. The rest of the food in our order - two chicken vermicelli bowls - was delicious, and the portions were appropriate. At first glance, the portion size isn't as big as I've had in some of the other Asian places but don't let that fool you.
