Lauren came today to give our rescue dog Rise his first ever proper groom. He is from the war zone…read morein Ukraine and is understandably very nervous but he had matted fur that desperately needed sorting. I was sure Lauren would only be able to maybe get some of the worst matts out on his legs but I was amazed at the experience. Lauren is like a dog whisperer. She was so gentle but firm with Rise. Not only was she able to use the clippers on his worst matts but she then proceeded to do his full body. I was thrilled to bits. Then after Rise was rewarded with treats and a little run round Lauren took him to the bathroom and very gently gave him his first ever proper bath and shampoo. He looks and smells like a new dog. I am absolutely stunned by how well Rise did and all I can say is Lauren is a miracle worker. She gave me so many useful tips and advice. I can't thank you enough Lauren. I was so nervous about how it would all go but you were so kind and knowledgeable. Definitely highly recommend Lauren at Tamed Tails especially if you have a nervous or reactive dog.

The lady in the store was in the process of grooming a little dog but she took the time to chat to me about the pet reiki healing service that she also provides and from our conversation I could tell she was a true believer in healing and I felt she would provide a fantastic service for any animal. I can give numerous examples of their excellent service, the most recent being last night. I walked my dog at our normal place & noticed her eating something in the grass, when I looked closer I saw it was rice, little spoonfuls hidden in the grass where I couldn't see them but my dog could sniff them out. They where dotted all around & this made me suspicious. I fellow dog walker had mentioned a dog eating something in the area a few weeks back that turned out to be poisoned. Panic set in & I wanted my dog to regurgitate this food ASAP. I rang four paws in the hope they may be open late, it was 18:30. Mark answered & told me they'd just closed, I explained the situation & they agreed to stay back until I arrived. I received a follow up call the next day, which I wasn't expecting, to see how my dog was doing. I just can't fault them, stars all of them.
