Also stopping at a storage unit along the way out of the city. Big oof! We all know what Toronto traffic is like. However, Jason and his team put all my worries to rest. He also came to look at our place a few days before moving day to assess everything. On moving day, his team packed and wrapped everything very quickly. They were professional, asked questions, kept in contact on the phone during each process of the move and were very friendly. We originally asked for a team of 5 and two trucks but ended up with a team of 4 at the start and 1 truck. Reduced down to a team of 3 at our new place to unpack everything. We were charged accordingly to the changes. No hidden fees or BS, everything was told to us as changes were being made and explained again when the bill came. Prices were super reasonable for the distance. We provided water, gatorade (at both places) and breaks whenever the movers needed. People forget that this is a very physically gruelling task and my partner and I would have never done what they did in such a short period of time. We were so appreciative we even ordered pizza for them at our new place, while they finished unloading all our stuff. We had over 40 boxes and tons of furniture. 11/10 I would use them again and highly recommend them! They are true to their word "In and out".

As I mentioned in my previous review, the movers were highly skilled and very experienced but mistakes were made that caused some damage to my furniture. We're human and we all make mistakes. Minor damage to furniture is a normal part of moving and I expected it when I hired this company. What I didn't expect was that the owner would take the time to contact me, to listen attentively to my complaints and then to respond by remedying the situation. I can not stress enough how awesome these guys are! We moved from a condo to another condo in…read moredowntown Toronto and moving out went smoothly. When we tried to move in to another condo, our lawyer informed that the purchase transaction had gotten delayed to the next day and we would not get keys that day. What a nightmare - all our life belongings were in a moving truck and we couldn't move in and had nowhere to go, or put our stuff! This is where The Six Moving absolutely saved the day. The movers called Zara and she quickly arranged emergency storage for our things for the night and they worked outside regular working hours the next day to get us moved in. It's scary even to think what would've happened had this option not been available. The following day we got the keys and The Six Moving showed up again and Murphy's Law was in full effect again - the moving elevator broke moments before they arrived. Elevator service technician was called but it was unknown when they would arrive. The Six Moving assured us they will stay as long as required until we can move in. How amazing is that? It really calmed our nerves and helped us keep our sanity. After a lengthy delay, the elevator started working again and we managed to move in very quickly and efficiently - late at night. Here's a fine example of paying a little extra but getting huge benefit from it. I'm sure many moving companies would have just left and not care what happened to us. They showed up late on day of move. ANATOLI and other guys name cant remember seemed to be too positive right from the start. Before drop off they demanded to pay for everything including drop off and tip. Thats when i realized something is really shady, they then pulled out my signed contract. I read it again and it say 120 per hour, 120 per person, plus truck free, plus travel fee, plus no coverage. I called police. Police told me its civil matter and to go to court.
