It's fun to see all the different Salvation Army locations. This store was huge and clean. My guess is it is so huge because it used to be a Kroger's grocery store. I'm so happy it was converted to a Salvation Army vs, say a Halloween Store, lol! There was a huge selection of wares from art to clothes to appliances with wide isles to navigate. I push mom in her transporter chair so we appreciate the wide isles. The location is ideal, close to the 59 freeway with plenty of parking outside. I purchased a like new black cardigan sweater and a nice dressy tank top for when the warm weather returns. I also found a cool flower emblem that I added to one of my purses. Mom struck out and went home empty-handed. Everything was had for a mere $16.00 - how fun is that!

As Broad is never very busy, it's not a problem, but nervous parkers may want to park across the street.

They closed at 6pm & we had arrived at 5:20pm knowing we had just a smidge of time we quickly were running through hoping to see everything when the owner so kindly said take your time I have plenty more to do before she closed down for the night. The store itself was incredible and so reasonably priced. The lay out was lovely & the feel of autumn/Halloween filled my little fall heart walking through each sellers booth. As a gal that antiques often I am aware that many antique stores are going to smell stale and vintage. Nope not this one it's so clean and has all sorts of soft fall like smells throughout the entire store. While checking out we got to chat with both owners & they were kind enough to share some history of their town, movies that had been filmed there, upcoming festivals, & so on! Needless to say we will be making the 2HR 30Min drive back in November/December for the Dickens Festival that they kindly informed us about after telling them how much I adore the Holiday Season! I went in Ecotopia over the weekend because I'd heard they have a great selection of audio…read moreequipment. That's an understatement. There are stacks all over the store of receivers, tuners, turntables, and speakers. The owner, Moses, was super friendly. He was helping some other folks when we went in, so after he was done with them I asked him for his advice. I didn't realize that meant he would spend almost two hours with me, showing me what equipment he had. He really seems to know his stock back and forth, pulling out names of speakers that were under stacks and insisting that he'd love to let me hear them if I wanted. He told me about the speaker designers, the characteristics of each brand, and what kind of sounds would be emphasized with each. He insisted that every piece of equipment was fully checked when he brought it in He laid out all my options, within my price range, for the styles of music I listen to, and preferred making me listen to different speaker combinations rather than describing them to me. This took some time to attach and detach each set from the receiver, but I really did learn a lot about what the different speakers sounded like, and which brands have similar profiles. Ultimately, I was happy to have a guide that was patient. I didn't anticipate spending so much time to do so, but I don't regret it at all, since it is an investment. I found a set of speakers that I love (after listening to about 10 different sets) that should be perfect for what I need. Ultimately, I think I maybe paid a higher price than I would have gotten on ebay or craigslist for my speakers, but Moses was ridiculously helpful and patient with me and was happy to give me the information I needed. I'm also sure that the speakers are in good working condition - which is worth a lot as well. I don't know about the repair aspect of his shop, but if you want to buy some modern or vintage equipment, Moses can hook you up.

The selection in this store is insane and covers a broad range of styles and sizes. Items are fairly priced and you can always find a good deal. If you're looking to sell this is the place. Our Blessings has over 20,000 consigners so while they are selective of what can be taken it's because they serve the best of the best items. Staff is very kind and knowledgeable.
