But I clearly remember that the best gear, cleanest rooms, nicest staff and best SOUNDING rooms live there. So I was pretty psyched when I was asked to participate in a rather special band hit with some NYC top cats. And of course, they ONLY rehearse at Euphoria...so that is where we found ourselves a few days ago. It was fantastic to see David again; great human...and he knows the deal. Also a drummer and photographer. The walls are lined with his portraits of about every great player in NYC over the last decades. You name it, they work there. And so it was also great to again realize that there is just no other place on the level of this studio. Anywhere in NYC...period. The gear was top of the line - in fact beyond tops...and in perfect shape. I left NYC the following day - and already I am missing having access to this great set of rooms.
