I've been a travel agent for 35 years and always looking for unusual and fun activities in all the cities I travel to, and I recently found a great one in Las Vegas. Here is my slightly long review. Sincity Moto has tours using Polaris Slingshots, a 3 wheel vehicle that looks like a batmobile. My initial thought was it looks dangerous and perhaps hard to drive, but my fears were completely unfounded. They were very easy to drive, you need to be able to use a stick-shift. Very easy and light clutch. They were also very solid on the road, even at the speed limit on the freeways outside of Las Vegas. Very comfortable seats, a comfortable and fairly upright driving position, plenty of room for tall people, and a decent sound system set up with bluetooth, and a small center console with 2 drink holders. They have a storage area behind the seats that will fit a medium size pack bag, and Sincity provide water and a passenger blanket in the vehicle. We were 4 people and the only ones booked on their 10am Hoover Dam trip on Feb 9. Typically people would meet at their office , however as it was just us, they agreed to pick us up at our strip hotel. They said they would pick us up in a van and take us to their office about 10 minutes away, but they showed up with 4 slingshots and each of us took the passenger seat for the quick ride along the strip to their office. Once there we signed the insurance form, we had already signed the online agreement. They had us take a 2 minute drive around their parking lot just to make sure we could use the stick shift, then we were on our way. I would say it was no more than 10 minutes from arriving at their office until we were on the road. All of their tours have 2 guides included, each with their own slingshots, and the 4 of us had 2 slingshots. One of their friends also joined us, so a convoy of 5 slingshots, and everyone from their company came along, so a total of 9 people. It was a pristine day in Las Vegas, fairly cool but clear and sunny. The slingshots were an absolute blast to drive, very smooth even at 70+mph. It was nice that the roads were fairly empty. They had a set itinerary, although if you are a private group I suppose you can adjust the amount of time you spend at each stop. We made 5 stops, one in Boulder city, a slightly charming town with a few tourist shops, and antique store and several restaurants, we were there just about 20 minutes for coffee. We were on the trip just for the slingshots and to see Hoover Dam, so we could have easily missed Boulder city. If you are on a private tour, it might be fun to leave a little earlier and have breakfast in Boulder city, there is a great but popular breakfast place there. The next 2 stops were viewing areas for Lake Mead, each one about 10 minutes. Then onto to the main parking lot at Hoover Dam, where we parked the slingshots and walked across the bridge connecting Nevada to Arizona that has a great panoramic view of the Dam. The last stop was on the other side of the Dam which had us driving on the small 2 lane road that is built atop the Dam. The hundreds of tourists there seemed more interested in the slingshots than the Dam. At all our stops we had dozens of people approaching us asking if it was ok to take pictures and to sit in the car. This last stop had a small store selling drinks, snacks and souvenirs and also a good view of the other side of the Dam. Then we drove back to Las Vegas, then along the length of the strip, where they dropped us off at our hotel. We were gone for about 4 hours, and I think for the price it was great entertainment value, and a nice break from the crowds and casinos of the strip. The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Overall a 6 star experience. read more

This was our first ever trip to Vegas and we were lucky enough to have heard about Sin City Moto beforehand. There were many fantastic options to choose from, and we eventually decided on the Vegas at night tour. Boy did we have a blast! Sin City Moto is a woman-owned and run business and one of the best kept secrets in southern NV. We were fortunate enough to meet the whole family (The owner Tina, Glenn, Cheri & Lori). You have the choice to be a driver or passenger in the slingshots (or both), and my wife and I decided to be passengers which allowed us the opportunity to ride with every family member at different times. Riding in the open air slingshot allowed us a unique view of LV as we headed down the strip while receiving expert information from our tour guides, including historical/famous (Fremont Street, mob sites, Gold & Silver Pawn, etc., best places to gamble, areas of Vegas many don't know existed (largest souvenir shop in the US, etc.), and much much more. Before we knew it, our tour had unfortunately come to an end. While we had an amazing time on the Vegas strip tour, received a ton of pictures taken of our trip by Lori (so we could either take our own pictures or enjoyed the scenes without having to worry about pictures), we did wish that we had more time in LV so that we could have taken the Valley of Fire/Hoover Dam tour. That is definitely on our list the next time we come to LV. One other thing. This group is so caring when it comes to customer enjoyment and satisfaction that they definitely went out of their way in this regard. We greatly appreciated the individualized attention, cold water, options for covered vs. uncovered slingshots, and other ways that make one feel important. Just got back to the hotel and could wait to write this review. Yes it was THAT good, well good does not describe this experience. First now that the vehicles are basically new, comfortable and clean, the hosts/ tour guides/ owners have thought this through. Sunscreen is available in the office in case you forgot, give you a cooler with water and electrolytes packs , a cooling neck scarf and a mist spray bottle!!!! After a demonstration you are on your way to beautiful Mt Charleston,, Las Vegas sky resort, this is a guided tour so you will be able to make stops along the way to enjoy the scenery and take pictures or have your picture taken. Before heading back, we stopped for lunch at Mt Charleston Lodge freshened up and then it was time to go back to the city. I WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR, the owners are thoughtful and pleasant, this sister duo rocks! BTW consider booking directly with them, didn't know that is cheaper that way. I cannot say enough great things about my experience. Stephanie was amazing to deal with. We called late in the day but had no problem meeting us to set up our rental. She really took her time to explain everything and made sure my wife was comfortable as she could be as she was very nervous about renting such a small and open vehicle. We had a very small issue and the company sent someone out to my hotel to fix it before we even started our day. My wife loved the slingshot 3 minutes into our trip and getting out of the city and into the desert was an experience and feeling you have to have for yourself no one can explain it to you but it is purely amazing in such an open vehicle. The people on the roads were very courteous to which really surprised me no one crowd as you no one pushed you it was just an amazing experience. If you are thinking of it do it it was so worth every second. read more

My husband and I need to explain to everyone coming to Las Vegas, this is a MUST DO for fun and entertainment, and learn some history about the origins of Las Vegas. But the real attraction is the exhilarating fun and excitement as you drive down the Las Vegas strip under the neon lights. The night tour was soooo much fun, we enjoyed ourselves immensely that we had to do the day tour to Hoover Dam. Driving the Slingshot is an unforgetable experience that i will share with my friends and family and anyone i can tell this exciting new tour while in Vegas. As soon as we entered their office, the owner Ms. Tina introduced us to her awesome crew who taught us all the procedures we needed to know to have an exciting, fun and safe time. Do it! We had three couples, all in their 50s, for the Hoover Dam tour. The Slingshots are so fun! The three sisters that own the company are accommodating, knowledgeable, and treat you like family. We stopped in Boulder City and toured their Hoover Dam Museum, a small art gallery, and an alien museum, then stopped at the Lake Mead Park for a beautiful view and photo ops, then on to Hoover Dam for the main event, where we walked across the bridge and stopped at several places for different views and stories. The whole trip was amazing, but what made it the best ever was the Slingshots. Having people stare, point, wave, and take pictures as we passed made it even more enjoyable. The company has other tours and I wish I was going to be here long enough to do them all! read more

I wish I could give this company more than 5 stars. My husband reserved a Slingshot on Groupon for 8 hours during our stay in Las Vegas. When we showed up for our appointment, we were told that there was nothing in their system that we had a reservation. Instead of turning us away, the ladies went out of their way to help us find one for that day. Unfortunately all the companies were booked up. They were able to reserve one for us the next day. They were very apologetic, even though it wasn't their fault. When we showed up the next day, they had the color that I wanted, a cooler with ice and bottle waters, electrolytes and towels to sit on since did not have the top on. We will definitely book with on our next trip! read more

My husband and I did the Valley of Fire tour. Driving the Slingshot was a blast for him. Riding in it was awesome for me! I could not stop smiling! Seeing the beautiful scenery was the highlight of our Vegas vacation. Cheri and Lori and the crew were wonderful! They took pictures for us, and we never felt rushed at any of the stops. We felt very comfortable with everyone right away. They provided water and sunscreen as well as laughs and great company. This is a family owned/female owned small business, and I can't recommend them enough! We will definitely be doing a tour with them again! read more

SinCity Moto provides GREAT Service and Awesome products. They have a variety of Slingshots and let you chose from whatever inventory they have available, instead of just assigning you one. Owners are friendly, southern people that know how to treat their patrons! Being from Louisiana, it was great to hear that they were from Texas because their southern hospitality was on full display! Last, but not least, the prices aren't bad either so my wife and I would DEFINITELY rent again if we visit the city in the future!!! read more

There is always a bit of apprehension when you are selecting a place to rent a vehicle that isn't a large chain, but SinCity was great for our family. We rented 3 SlingShots for a morning in Red Rock Canyon. The rental was confirmed by SinCity prior to pickup. The pick up went very well and was professional. We had a mechanical issue with one of the vehicles shortly into our trip and it was resolved quickly and professionally by SinCity. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for some fun in a great vehicle. read more

The best money we spent on our vacation. Staff was great. Machines were clean and ready to go. Rented and drove to Hoover Damn. Best way to enjoy the sites. Price was far better than any other we looked. 8 hour rental was the same price that others wanted for 4 hours and the machines were in way better condition. If apprehensive about driving them, don't be. They are as simple as driving a car and will go up to highway speeds with ease. I will use SinCity Moto for our next trip. read more

This is hands down the best price we could find while in Vegas. One of the few if not the only place with 24 hour rentals. We took the slingshot down to the canyon, my girlfriend and I were not prepared at all and once they found out, they gave us a cooler with tons of waters, electrolytes, towels, etc. They even offered us sun block. We are just still in wow due to the level of customer service that was given to us. Needless to say when we return to Vegas we will do business again. read more

Fantastic day excursion! This was a perfect way to spend a day off the strip. The Slingshot ride to Valley of Fire was exciting and so much fun. It is a small locally owned business. They are professional, friendly and take pride in their business and Slingshot family. They supply everything you'll need. My son-in-law and grandsons rented one manual shift and one automatic this past Tuesday and took a ride through Lake Mead Recreation area. We had a great time and I look forward to renting one again for my wife and I. The machines ran perfectly and the check in-check out was easy. The one piece of advice I would offer is if you're riding on a warm day in full sun, opt for one of the machines with a cover. It made a huge difference! read more

We had a guided Slingshot tour to Mt. Charleston with Tina and Cheri. It was an amazing adventure and the most gorgeous scenery up in the mountains. They did everything in their power to make us safe and comfortable; ensuring we drank lots of water and stayed cool on a 110 degree day. Amazing staff. On the spot call and they had everything for my group to rent. 3 slingshots all great condition and very fun to drive. Even for the ones that sat out in the sun they have us towels for the seat, water to drink, even had a iPhone charger for the apple car play my slingshot had in it cause my new charger is type c not usb. Worth every penny!!! The slingshot rental is a "must do" in Vegas. SinCityMoto makes it very easy to "show up & head out". Just about everything can be completed online so when you show up, there's very little to do. A quick tutorial on the fuel, bluetooth pairing and familiarization then you're off! A great time whether touring the mountains or cruising the strip. Highly recommended!!! read more
