My parents woke up sweating and couldn't figure out why the AC wouldn't turn on! 2- My room wasn't cleaned until 4pm when I called the front desk for a second time. 3- The elevator broke and we had to walk regularly up and down four flights of stairs, six if we went to the car. I sat out there for hours just staring at the mountain. Balcony comes with a table and 2 chairs. Perfect to watch the sunset. - Beds were hard (I overheard other people complaining at breakfast), I was fine with it or maybe just super tired. The pillows were so thin that they were uncomfortable. You needed to stack two, maybe three. Location - Perfect location to walk around the town (where you can't drive). Breakfast - YES. Come with an apetite because the breakfast is delicious and comes with your stay. Head down to the breakfast area and there are two indoor areas to sit and outside. - Many options from breads like roast, rolls, croissants, chocolate croissants and more. - Salmon, meats, cheese. - Cereal - Hot food items which consisted of sausage, bacon, eggs and one grilled vegetable - The best part about the breakfast are their drinks. A few types of juices, water, tea options and unlimited coffee. They have two coffee machines which make all types of coffee, hot chocolates, etc. Parking - There are maybe 6 free spots in front of the hotel. Good luck getting one of these. The hotel told us spaces open up around 10-12 but we never saw one. - You can park in their garage for 12 euros a day. - There's free street parking around the corner which is what we did. Pool - There is a heated pool which we didn't use but looked nice!

The hotel is fairly new, I believe construction was in 2011. The decor is contemporary but warm and a roaring fire is just a match strike away. Breakfast is provided daily and they tailor to your preferences and remember what you like. The restaurant is open to the public in the evenings and does a nice job, but expect the meal to take a long time over several small courses (about 3 hrs). The Tannenhof isn't slope side, but they will drop you off and pick you up from the nearby base of St. Anton which is only 5 mins away. If you'd like to ski Lech it's about a 30 min drive, but it's still easy access via their in-house car and drivers. The spa is wonderful, with a beautiful pool, steam room and sauna. Massage is available starting at 100 Euros for 60 mins. Should you be looking for a relaxing and luxurious ski getaway, You can't go wrong with the Tannenhof.
