do not use this company please please please please. hear this plea. this man is rude, cheeky and patronising. ordered a tent it arrived the next day. it was order 4 weeks before my camping trip. i arrived in preston for my camping trip, the weather was horendous, rain, rain, rain, and a good size hole in the tent so got soaked soaked soaked. reported this to the company on my return. 3-4 failed attempts by the company to collect the tent. it was finally collected after several phone calls, and awful conversations with the dreaded mr singer (awful man). i asked for a refund, my request twas totally ignored. after 2 weeks a replacementtent was sent to my home address, even though i noted clearly i wanted a refund. i truly didnt want a replacement just my hard earn cash back. i rang mr cheeky singer and asked for a refund, i was refused and told he me he didnt have to give one legally. he didnt explain why that was, during this conversation he was abnoxious and cheeky as always so i rang trading standards, they explained if i had the tent for more than 4 weeks mr singer only had to offer a replacement or like for like goods under the sale of goods act 1979. absolutely gutted i ordered it 4 weeks in advance so i didnt qualify for a refund. i would never recommend this disgusting company to anyone. they need investigating and closing down. do not use this company, do not recommend to anyone, not even your worst enemy as know one deserves to have to deal with a inconsiderate and money grabbing man such as this. do not give this man your money. my star rating is the biggest zero going 000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 a thousands times and more. read more

I, too have had to open a paypal dispute for items ordered from this company. Having placed my order I heard nothing and received nothing. Subsequent calls and emails went unanswered with the one exception when I managed to speak to someone I believe to be the owner. I was told my items were out of stock but I would be updated within 2 3 days. 3 weeks later I had still heard and received nothing. My calls and emails went unanswered so I opened a paypal dispute in an attempt to force communication. When none was forthcoming I had to escalate this to a claim and am still waiting to get my money back. I could not recommend them to anybody and would never deal with them again. read more

After I had placed an order for a vango maritsa 600 I read these reviews and my heart sank. However I got it for £30 cheaper than anywhere else that I could see it, it was despatched the following day and it arrived the day after that with free postage, they also threw in a free fan for me. So I am very pleased with this company and would certainly use them again. I think the problem about reading reviews online is that people only post comments when there is a problem. read more

i dont reccommend this shop to no one manager as a bad attitude some things are to pricy and you get a lot of abuse if you return an item for what ever reason seems he dont like you if you return stuff so be aware of this one very rude man who wont be getting business from me again in the future it says on reciepts if your not happy you can return within 10 days for refund but he just gives you a load of abuse and refuses to give a refund read more

I was concerned about ordering from Singers after reading some of the reviews, but it was the only place that had the Craghoppers coat in the size and colour I wanted at a reasonable price, and free delivery. The coat arrived the next day and is exactly as described. I thought the service was excellent I know others have had issues with returns but I wouldn't hesitate to order from there again. read more

Ordered a Vango Calisto tent, carpet and footprint on Monday this week and all three items arrived by courier the following day which I hadn't expected. I've put the tent up to check it out and am really happy. I've subsequently placed another order with Them and I'm sure I will again. Great pricing and turnaround. read more

I have now ordered 2 Vango tents from Singers on different order for my local Cub Scout group they were the cheapest in the UK. Both arrived next day as promised. I opened them up and they were fine. All I can say is the service I have had has been fine. I will be ordering again from them. read more

Worst company I have ever dealt with on Internet. Payment taken by Paypal. No goods delivered. No response to emails. One response to phone promising delivery. Still no goods. Fortunately Paypal dispute obtained full refund. I recommend NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. read more
