We all ordered breakfast sandwiches and they were all served fast and delicious. My husband and my daughter's boyfriend ordered milkshakes and they were sick, so thick ,They had to eat them with a spoon. I have been here on multiple occasions over the years. I have always come to this place after drinking all night. There will be a line out the door. Things might get crazy in that line. Decided to stop in at 11 pm after seeing this place on tripe D. The menu was a little overwhelming because there is literally something for everyone. One side of the menu was all breakfast items while the other were more starters and entrees. At this point I had to get what I saw on tv which was the crab cake and Spanakopita. If you get this you got to get the crab cakes broiled! Also this sounds weird but it's a local favorite to also eat the crab cakes with mustard. I was delighted at how big the crab cake was and the spanakopita was flaky and creamy on the inside. We also got the half and half which was the md crab and cream of crab soup. My boyfriend order the parthenon. The chicken was cooked perfectly and juicy and the gyro was tender. I honest need to come back and explore the other options on the menu. read more

This place is ok. We were craving Greek food and in Baltimore so we decided to try it out. The Tzatziki was lacking flavor, chicken slouvaki lacked flavor, the gyro meat was good. The Lamb Burger wasn't very good, over cooked and didn't taste like lamb at all. The Spanakopita bites were meh... Fell apart and very little pastry. This has to be the worst place I ever went. Saturday night and I sat on the bar counter. First of all the waiters do not wear nets. Second the waiters who are handling money and food and picking up toasted breads with the same hands without washing it. The only clean ones was the cooks. One of my shorter reviews, because it's a simple diner that does great things in the kitchen and on the flattop. I go here relatively frequently because I also live in Canton and this is only a few minutes drive from where I live. The service is always so quick and prompt. They do food excellently. Especially breakfast and dinner. They also specialize on Greek cuisine as well. I can't say it's super authentic, and I am almost certainly say that it's very Americanized, but it's delicious regardless! The waitresses are all so pleasant and lovely! They make me so happy to happily pay for me meal and tip well. They are very quick and are great at what they do. I recommend avoiding this place for post-midnight drunk food because especially Fri, Sat nights... it can get really rowdy and crazy. I usually go for breakfast on weekdays. Last note: I want to say that this is a "4.5 or 4.75 Star" review... I don't think that my reason is acceptable for much, but it's a personally annoying thing about their breakfast sausage.... I'm really picky about breakfast pork sausages. I hate patties and always ask to make sure that I'm ordering a sausage link! In Baltimore, I honestly think that Double T Diner around Baltimore has the BEST sausage links. And this place only has pork sausage links that are maple flavored! Honestly... I adore maple. I am in Baltimore with my children for a few days. We came here this morning. Our server was Gloria. She was AMAZING! Extremely polite, professional, and accommodating. In spite of social distance guidelines, she provided amazing service. The food was supberb. Now, fast forward to tonite. My cousin flew into town and after listening to me brag for the last few hours about the food, we walked to Sip and Bite. We walked in and Veronica yelled saying "oh we not takin orders, yall gotta go cuz we got too many orders already". We thought it must've been some sort of joke. I watched her have a shouting match with several customers, who were all very rudely turned away (most of whom drove from far away just to eat there). She complained that she only get paid $9 an hour and she was "tired of all deez orders". I have never been treated so horribly in a place of business in my life! I know that she has an interview in Tuesday and that if she gets it she's quitting. I know that she was waiting for somebody to bring her money but that if they wasn't there in X amount of time she was leaving. I know that she just genuinely doesn't like working there and that she complained to every other waiter/waitress every time she came behind the counter. Ms. please shut up!!! I don't want to hear it, nobody does. If you're that unhappy then just leave!!!! Stop complaining and walk your functioning junky looking self out the door ( her appearance was very questionable, no she was not my waitress), nobody is forcing you to stay here. I had family in town and we were looking for a place close to my new home for breakfast. I came across the reviews for Sip and Bite and saw that they had been featured on the food network so I figured we could give it a try. Parking in this part of town sucks and my family was not used to or ready for it. It was actually pretty comical listening to them complain about parking as i drove! Lol. Anyway we found a spot and headed in. It's a weird diner feel on the inside and is not as spacious as I expected it to be. Among the table we had omelets, a b.l.a.t and French toast. We were all extremely happy with our meals. Everything came out quickly and was delicious. Even my nephew who recently had his wisdom teeth out found a way to finish his meal because it was so good! The only reason they loose a star because I forgot we had a waiter. Once he brought us the food we didn't see him again. I came here Friday night and had a great experience - the food was amazing and so was my waitress, Lynn. It was so good, I went back Saturday night but we had a horrible experience. First, the server took so long bringing my soup (I wanted to eat it while they made our food) that I had to ask for it and when she finally brought it, it was so hot you could see the steam flying from it from several feet away and I couldn't eat it for several minutes (she kept heating it in the microwave to buy time so she could do other things). Then, she asked if I wanted our food (it was to go so obviously we want it TO GO) bagged up, I said yes, she says she's doing it now. Apparently our food had been sitting at the end of the bar already boxed up. She went off to do a million other things and told us about 3 more times she was going to bag our food and never did. I finally had to ask Lynn (server from the previous night) to do it and that's the only reason we got our food and check. Of course when we got to the hotel (less than 10 minutes away) our food was ice cold and to top it off, we didn't even have all of our food (our server should've checked that but she abandoned our food) I called the restaurant 3 times the next day and no one even answered so I could speak to a manager. Grabbed breakfast here while in town visiting a friend in Baltimore. Was told it was a popular local place and sure enough, when we got there around 9 am, the diner was packed on a Saturday morning! If you don't want to wait long, and you're okay as we were, there are seats at the bar. Ordered the Baltimore omelette which had crab meat and eggs. Wanted something "local" or unique so this definitely something I've never had before. I ordered it with egg whites without any problem. The omelette was delicious as was the hashbrowns and wheat toasts that it came with. The price was very reasonable around $10 or so for the omelette. While the food was excellent for a diner and I can definitely see why it's a popular local place as the atmosphere was what you'd expect at a busy diner, I thought the service was not great. While we were understanding that the place was packed, it took forever -- much much longer even adjusting for it being busy -- for our waitress to take our order. I also ordered a side fruit cup that never came. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress, she never apologized and if anything, looked very annoyed with me when I asked her if I could get it to go now since I was done eating. When I entered, the first thing I saw were three or four cooks busy on the grill cooking eggs, breakfast meats and potatoes. It was a divine sight. When I ordered the ddd platter, ( famous crab cake and spanokopita) she told me to order the Greek salad and not the sides since the intense flavours of the sides would interfere with the crab cake. I smiled, nodded and agreed. She was right. The greek salad had the best feta I have ever tasted. Deena proudly told me it was barrel-aged imported feta and I believed her. The crab cake was amazing...great texture, great taste and a great commitment to the crab and not breadcrumbs or other fillers. The spanokopita was good as well. It was full of spinach flavours and tasted fresh. The pastry was a tad too crispy. Between greeting regulars and telling me stories of defunct GPS units,I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I came in last Thursday & this Spanish lady took my order. First if all the perfume she was wearing was very offensive then her service was horrible. This isn't my first visit to Sip & Bite but my first encounter with her. Lastly I asked for my check & it took her 20-25 mins to bring me my check. The S&B has occupied its particular corner of Baltimore since well before I was born, so it qualifies as a fixture. And like many fixtures, it has had its ups and downs. Before this most recent visit, it had probably been a decade since I had pulled open the door of this 24-hour diner, and my recollection from those earlier days was that they served okay food, but the Sip & Bite's main usefulness was as the only place open in Fells Point at 3 am when you're drinky-drunk. Well, the times, they are a changin'. First of all, the Sip & Bite was renovated a handful of years ago, and while the renovation was sorely needed, I was delighted to see that they carefully kept all the old details that make this place feel so original. It's the old Sip & Bite that I remember, but shinier. Hooray! Then comes the food, and THANK YOU Sip & Bite, because you've found yourself again. This is solid Greek diner fare, only so clearly homemade that you want to just curl up and live there. My meatloaf was tender and tasty, with a generous ladle of savory gravy. The mashed potatoes that came on the side had been spiked with yogurt. Maybe it's not to your taste, but that's the sort of surprising touch I just LOVE. The avgolemeno soup that started out my meal was likewise tart and flavorful with big chunks of chicken breast. Delicious. There was not a single thing in this meal to quibble with, and we weren't even slightly tipsy. That said, here's my one complaint: The booths. They're made for the slender. If you tend towards the large-n'-lovely like myself, you're going to find yourself trying to decide if your gut goes above or below the table, or else grabbing a stool at the counter.
