    My favorite boba place!!
    Nicole N.

Love Sip! The new owner is so sweet and knows her stuff. She'll help you find the perfect drink. The waffles are really good but have too much whipped cream for me. I don't like boba pearls so I get popping ones and I'm happy.

I ordered the earl grey bubble milk tea! I could tell the tea was high quality and freshly made The aesthetics of this place are really cute as well. I hope more people start coming here because it's a gem.

Bubble tea with cute lids - you get to give them a nose with the straw!

So glad to see another bubble tea place pop up! Sip doesn't disappoint. The owner is so kind and friendly and the shop is cute and clean. It's perfect for a post-work or mid-errand stop to relax and unwind! There are tables and chairs (that move - good for accessibility) and a small couch area if you want to lounge. Admittedly, I don't drink much flavored bubble tea (personal preference), but the oolong tea is great - super flavorful but not tanniny and bitter. The tapioca pearls (boba) have been consistently well-prepared. The selection of other toppings is great too! Sip also has a limited menu of snacks. They're still new, so I hope to see it expand! I have had the bubble waffle and it was a tasty treat - not too sweet with your choice of ice cream, syrup, and topping. There are also some bagged snacks (chips, goldfish, etc) by the register for purchase. To find it: Sip took over the place that WIN Bubble Tea was previously on White Bridge Pike. It's in the brick shopping center with the green awnings between Brookwood Place and the Kiwanis Park - directly across white bridge from TCAT.

    Earl grey milk tea!! :)

Gong Cha on 4th Ave is hands-down the best spot in the city for a high-quality tea fix. The free 1-hour parking (just scan the QR code inside) makes it incredibly convenient to drop in, even in this busy part of town. The Ultimate Snack Pairing: * Mango Green Tea with black tea: My absolute favorite--refreshing, bright, and perfectly balanced. * Crispy Bubble Waffles: These are completely addicting! Golden and crunchy on the outside, light and airy on the inside. * Beyond the Drinks: If you're hungry for more than a snack, they actually have ramen noodles (the Spicy Shin bowls are great!) and other snacks like sliders. It's the perfect combo for a casual lunch. The Vibe: The shop is clean, bright, and very family-friendly. What really sets it apart is the setup--they have game cards and board games available, making it a fantastic spot to hang out and chill with friends or the kids. Having a top-tier boba spot with a fun, social atmosphere is a total game-changer for Nashville. We'll be regulars here for sure!

Smells good haha... but not great for our visit. The inside is very small, but super cute w/ the post-it note wall! That was the highlight of our visit :)

Amazingggg! This…read moreplace is so yummy! The drink variety goes crazy here. This is the best hojicha latte in town- IYKYK. For those who would like to know- hojicha is like a toastier, more caramel version of matcha. So clearly I got the hojicha latte. It was absolutely scrumptious- mellow and made me feel like I was being loved via beverage. The boba was also tender and delicious. This is such a rare find- well done hojicha is so hard to execute! The shop is also gorgeous. All of the thoughtful personal touches make this space so cozy and warm. I just want to be a cozy cat curled up in this shop, drinking delicious beverages all day.

Eat Bubbles in particular has a QR code displayed prominently at the front counter to activate parking. The menu here is a little more advanced than the typical first generation American boba shop. They offer plenty of choices and allow sweetness and ice level adjustments. One thing I found to be nonobvious - all drinks under the "Fresh Brewed Teas" menu section are milk tea. They use lactose-free milk by default, which is a huge boon to people like me with lactose intolerance! Assam Milk Tea, Large, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Boba ($7) - This drink has an interesting milk tea flavor that is a bit of a departure from a standard Assam. Instead of a fruity finish, this tea has a bit of a malty overtone, more pleasingly brown and earthy. It's a very thick drink and feels more rich than what only adding milk would be able to do. I believe they brew tea each morning and then fill individual pitchers for service. 50% sweet is a bit too sweet for my tastes with the additional sugar from the boba. It's not cloying, however. The boba is overall strange and not in a good way. The pearls are very inconsistent in both size and texture. In all cases, the pearls have soft exteriors, some approaching mushy, while others are okay. The interiors range from being too hard to almost mushy. The sizing of the boba is also variable, from small pebbles, to larger spheres. The boba is marinated for a long time, however, giving a somewhat minerally or perhaps herbal quality to them. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating 3/5 There aren't too many boba shops in Nashville, so while I wasn't enthralled with the drink, I think it's probably good for the area.
