Luckily our caterer, who was excellent, stepped in and called in additional help at the last minute, but 1212 Bartending Service nearly ruined our cocktail hour that lasted from before the wedding until after before guests went to the reception. The worst part is he didn't call to apologize and we still haven't received our $80 deposit back or any word from him saying anything, much less sorry. I don't care if your mother or hamster died; at a minimum you have the decency to let people know your situation so at the very least they can plan. It's called being professional and no amount of personal excuses concerns me when I paid you to be somewhere.

It takes 3-4 emails before getting a response, followed by a promise for reimbursement and then nothing. Avoid at all costs and find another vendor who will adhere to their contract and actually respond.
