I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding an extremely upsetting experience at 1265 E Brandon Blvd. I am a regular customer who has always enjoyed Starbucks, not only for the quality of the products but for the welcoming atmosphere and friendly service I have consistently received over the years. Unfortunately, my recent visit has left me feeling disrespected, stressed, and genuinely hesitant to return. During my visit, I pulled up to the drive-thru and was greeted--or rather, not greeted--by the employee taking orders, a young woman named Tyra. She did not acknowledge me, did not say hello, and made no effort to offer even basic courtesy. When I placed my order, I clearly requested a Venti Strawberry Açaí Refresher, yet she entered it as a Grande. I politely let her know the size was incorrect, and instead of simply correcting it, she responded in a noticeably rude and irritated tone, telling me she would "fix it at the window." I still responded kindly and thanked her, but she did not reply. When I arrived at the window, I noticed there were no other customers ahead of me, yet I still waited approximately twenty minutes for my drinks. During this time, the employee made no effort to communicate with me or explain the delay. I asked for a cup of water, which she handed to me silently. When I asked--very politely--for a second cup, she stared at me with a visibly annoyed expression, gave me a dirty look, and then abruptly slammed the drive-thru window in my face. I was shocked and honestly hurt. When she finally handed me my drinks, she still said nothing. I made an effort to remain polite and even said, "Thank you, have a good day," yet she chose to ignore me completely. I want to emphasize how upsetting this was. I was treated with blatant disrespect from start to finish, and the attitude displayed was not only unprofessional but openly hostile. I left the store feeling shaken, frustrated, and genuinely saddened. Starbucks has always been a place that feels warm, consistent, and reliable. This experience made me feel the opposite--unwelcome, disrespected, and undervalued as a customer. It is very disappointing to feel this way about a store I've gone to regularly and trusted for years. The behavior I encountered was so negative that it has honestly made me question whether I even want to return to Starbucks at all. I understand that everyone can have a difficult day, but the level of rudeness and disregard shown was completely unacceptable for any workplace, especially one built on customer experience. I truly hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed promptly. I am not writing this to complain casually--I am writing because the experience genuinely affected me, and I would like to see improvements made so that no other customers feel the way I did.
