There is a giant buffalo bill statue out front that you can see right from the freeway from a distance. The trading post has snacks, drinks, jewelry, souvenirs, memorabilia, and all kinds of things to buy. You can breeze through it in like 5 minutes or you can spend some time since there are several items to choose from. They even have some displays set up with some interesting things, like a replica of a 2 headed calf that was born nearby years ago. We were there in July when it was blazing hot and humid, so we skipped the tour of the fort out back that you can go on. If you need to take a break and or want to get some souvenirs you should stop in.

I would like to give this place a five star review. We are from out of state ( California to be…read moreexact). We have never been to Lexington Nebraska so we have no idea of what is around the area as far as flower shops go. Unfortunately, we had a loss in the family and needed to order a flower arrangement for the funeral. We came across Plum Creek Market for flower arrangements. I called and we spoke to an employee by the name of Crystal. She understood what we were looking for, she was so kind to let us send her pictures of the flower arrangement we had in mind and she created it almost exactly as the picture we had text her. In addition to my review, I also want to mention that the funeral service was three days apart from the ordering date and Crystal mention that she was going out on vacation so she made sure she created the arrangement and had it sent to the funeral home before she went out on holiday. Crystal made sure we were well taken care of and even sent pictures back of the arrangement once it was complete to make sure we were happy with the final product. She made this unfortunate transaction smooth to where it felt like we were shopping from a store a cross the street from us. Thank you so much Crystal for taking good care of our family in this sentimental time of need. Godbless
