    Linguine Frutti de Mar
    Ritodhi C.

Sir Rocco is definitely pricey, but you're paying for not only well-crafted Italian and Mediterranean fare, but also chill vibes courtesy of its location off the shore of Playa d'en Bossa beach. Try to grab a seat outside, but don't be too disappointed if you find yourself at one of the wooden indoor tables looking out at the ocean through big glass windows. We ordered calimari and fried shrimp to start, which was well-salted and came with a pungent tartar sauce. For my entree, I ordered the Linguine Frutti de Mar "Al Cartoccio," or seafood pasta served in a parchment bag. The paper not only serves as a quirky receptacle for your food, but traps all the sauce, heat, and juice inside. The shrimp, baby octopus, clams, and mussels were tangy and soft and the dish had a strong garlicky finish. My only gripe is that the larger crab was tough to eat without acting like a savage at the table.

Otto is the #1 in the whole ibiza. If you try a cocktail at any other place you're wasting your time .

We sent the Carbonara back, and I forced as much of the Spaghetti with Clams down as I could since I was starving after our flight in, but couldn't finish about half of it. They apologized profusely over and over again, but still charged us for the uneaten dish that was sent back.

A lot of us got our own plates, but I was able to try one or two other dishes. I shared a vegetarian pizza and their handmade tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms with my friend. My friend has a gluten allergy, so the restaurant was able to make the pizza and pasta using gluten free dough! The other things I was able to try were my friends' burger (came with potato wedges) and the caprese salad. The pizza that came out was huge! It came in 4 giant slices. The vegetables were delicious -- there were mushrooms, eggplant, tomatoes, and peppers. All on thin sliced pizzaaa. I ate 1.5 slices and some tagliatelle after. The quality of the pasta was good, but the sauce definitely needed some salt and pepper. The restaurant (and most places in Ibiza) do not have hot sauce to add. I tried a piece of the burger and it was only okay -- the hot potato wedges were great though! The caprese salad was not very memorable , but I do remember that it was refreshing. We also ordered a dessert -- something creamy. I remember that it didn't hold its shape and was very liquidy. This was for the birthday boy, and he didnt really like it. Ibiza restaurants do charge for water, so we were careful to make sure we did not order a lot of water from this restaurant. Their water pitchers are a bit small, so that was a bit disheartening. Their water "pitchers" were more like small vases, so each one would pour about 2.5 glasses of water. I recommend getting their pastas and pizzas since they are supposed to be more of an Italian restaurant. Overall, this place was about a 3.5. I bumped it to 4 because they stayed open late for us and was very accommodating to our needs -- such as gluten allergies and answering all of our questions.
