We came in on a Thursday morning. There was so many customers already and food was being prepared hot and fresh. They had a lot of options out and I was amazed by the variety. We stood in line and they took our order when it was our turn. The titas in the back are friendly and quick. My husband ordered the pompano breakfast, and I ordered the 2 item combo which included beef stew and Tokwat baboy. (Pork belly and tofu), I really enjoyed their food. The restaurant was nice and clean and they gave us additional plates to share with each other. After paying and eating, I saw them bring out fresh turons, so I had my husband by 5. They were sooooo tasty and to die for. This is definitely a home style Filipino restaurant that I would be coming back to regularly.

WHY I WENT HERE: - picked up hot Filipino food for dinner THE LOOK (FROM THE OUTSIDE): - located in a plaza off Hammer Ln and Mariners Dr - located in the same plaza as Jack in the Box THE LOOK (FROM THE INSIDE): - awkwardly spaced; lots of floor space but limited seating; a section for the Balikbayan boxes to be sent to the Philippines, and then the hot food deli where myself and other customers either ordered what was prepared to go or placed food tray orders for future events WHAT I ORDERED: - igado - bistek - pork menudo THE TASTE: - in my personal opinion everything I ordered were 10s; but to my fiance it was good but not the best he's ever had (for reference, I am Filipino and he is not); so of course our taste buds are different - I'd definitely come here again and would be interested in party trays CUSTOMER SERVICE: - warm and welcoming

We stopped by this place to try their sisig and dinuguan because we were craving them. We didn't have high expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised by the food. It was flavorful, and the sisig wasn't greasy at all, which my husband appreciated since he's had worse at other places. My kids loved the dinuguan, and the pancit was also delicious. Overall, we were happy we decided to eat here. The service was friendly and efficient, and there was a small seating area available. Too bad they don't sell boba anymore

Came here for the first time with my Dad. He was craving for some lechon kawali. I believe this place is the old Tita Lays. You can eat in or take it to go, which most people do. It's a decently sized place with about 10 tables that can seat up to 4-5 people. This place can get really busy quickly. By the time lunch time came around, the line was out the door. My dad ordered the lechon kawali and mungo. I ordered the longsilog. Everything tasted pretty good and decently priced. I'm glad there's another great Filipino restaurant here in town.

Beef stew dish. Nice flavor. Second best one we got of four.

Awesome to get some comfort food stews. Lots of diversity, lots of good meat and flavor. Tasty and nice portions. Enough for another meal! Pretty fast service, way better quality than fast food. A true hole in the wall gem in Stockton!!

I don't get filipino food that often, but have been craving it for a while now. I'm so glad that I found this spot! Super authentic, yummy; and the workers are so sweet. Pork sisig (5/5): great flavor, the pork is super tender, and the onions add a crunch. I love the pork skin parts. Beef steak (4.5/5): steak is sooo tender, onions are perfectly sweet. The dish is slightly salty but it's meant to be ate with a lot of rice. Pancit palabok (4/5): first time trying this type of pancit. I love the noodles and the slight shrimp flavor. Turon (100/5): this was my first time trying turon and I'm addicted. This was the PERFECT to end off a slightly salty meal. I'm so sad that they didn't have bicol express when I came, but i'll definitely be coming back to try that (and get way more turon)!

I went there today at around 4:30pm and ordered small pancit. I know that pansit get spoiled easily when left outside for too long. They gave me panis or spoiled pansit. I could smell it when i opened the container. Please check your food next time. Thanks. I would go back and return it but I live far away and you are closed already.

Love me some Filipino food. Good service and good to eat and set down on the table. It's easy and access to fast food.

The food is amazing. Filipino food and deserts are bussing. The portions are good enough to make you full for $14.

Ask the Community - Sisig & Boba

Do they offer catering? Is there a price for half tray platters? Thank you.

I believe they cater, you'd have to call them to tell them what you want for a price...its a great place yo eat, real food, mom and pop restaurant

We also got a 6pc order of lumpia, half chicken, half pork so that was nice you can pick. The lumpia was freshly fried, you could feel it through the bag, and still hot when we got home. I think I preferred the pork over the chicken filling. The pork sisig was a bit tough and on the charred side and overall a bit hard to eat. It didn't taste fresh. the garlic rice was good though, soft, and fragrant and the portion was generous. the fried egg was cooked well too. Just was hoping for a better pork sisig, and it had white stuff in it. at first we thought it was like melted mozzarella cheese that was cooked w/the pork, but it wasn't cheese....not sure what it was. They make the food to order and it took a while to come out. In the meantime we walked around the store a couple times but then I went to take a seat outside at the table. I would be interested in coming back to try one of their other breakfast items.
