He gives a very thorough estimate, and the job is done exactly as promised. His crew is well-trained and professional. Seeing them at a neighbor's house working some years ago impressed me and I decided to give them a try. I like to recommend them to people who are looking for a good company to deal with. Office staff is great!!! Tree service did NOT follow thru with finishing job because of bird nest inside tree limb even after I called and reminded the person in charge. We paid for entire job but person in charge did Not follow thru!!! read more

Not much I can add to what others have already said! We had two dying/dead madrones, one between our pumphouse and storage shed, and another one within close proximity to our house. This company is great! They are very professional and honest. They cut back my huge tree , they charged me the price they quoted even when it was a6 weeks later when they did the work. I have a couple of big trees that need pruning. I called Siskiyou for an estimate, and Doug showed up later that day, right at the appointed time. Since this is a new house for me, I didn't know much about the trees. Doug identified them as a maple and an oak, and was able to estimate their care history by noticing old cuts from previous pruning efforts. He pointed out the weak limb on the maple that could potentially be a problem, in the future. The oak tree was mostly okay, just needs some minor pruning. He suggested that the best time to perform work on these trees is in late summer. I will call Siskiyou back then, because Doug is knowledgeable, a good communicator, and the quoted prices are reasonable. read more

Siskiyou Tree Experts is AMAZING and gets a WELL DESERVED 5 stars from me! We had three different people come over to give us estimates for massive pruning needed on trees in our front and back yards, which included a tree whose branches had grown onto our roof and our neighbor's roof. Our house is 25 years old and it's quite possible that a good portion of this pruning had never been done before. All three showed up, but only two sent us estimates. Siskiyou was $400 over the other estimate, but because the estimate was so detailed and clear and because Doug was obviously passionate about his work, we decided to go with him. We got a confirmation text one business day before the crew showed up, and they showed up right on time. When we went to give Doug the check, he informed us that once they got into working, there was less work than originally thought, so charged us $300 less! Now, that's honesty! We had a great experience with Doug and Travis. First, my initial call was answered and was told Doug could come over that evening to give an estimate. He arrived on time and gave me a price. He was able to do the job the next day. He called 30 minutes before he arrived the next day to let us know he would be a bit early! He said the job would take about two hours and it did. I had a dead pine leaning towards my rental house in the woods. With winter coming we did not wish to take any chances. I called several companies for quotes. NONE were as pleasant as Siskiyou Tree Experts. And I mean NONE. Their pricing is absolutely within reason and their kindness, honesty and professionalism was above and beyond! Darcee was absolutely top notch in assisting me with my questions, scheduling the work and really understood my needs and situation. Her friendliness and attention to detail is commendable. Doug was on time and professional. He even took the time to call me and answer my questions while on site as I could not be present. We chose Siskiyou Tree Experts initially because they were the lowest bid for removing some messy pine trees from our back yard--but the level of expertise and professionalism we experienced would have been worth almost any price. Doug and his talented crew worked like a well-choreographed ballet in expertly falling and removing three huge pine trees that were situated very close to our home. They were so entertaining, we invited the family and had a deck party just to watch. Can't say enough great things about Doug, Justin, Chris and Tate. Outstanding honesty! I was concerned about a tree that was leaning slightly toward my house and called Siskiyou Tree Experts. Doug arrived to provide an estimate -- arriving exactly on time -- and looked over this and several other trees that were of concern. To my tremendous relief he said that none of the trees posed a danger to my home. He offered a reasonable estimate if I wanted to go ahead with the removal. (I'll wait.) Strongly recommended.
