The shop was full of adorable gifts & a wide selection of plants, pots and other accessories. They had an impressive selection of "hard to find" plants like a raven ZZ plant & an Indian rope Hoya. Out of pure RESTRAINT I left with only a Brazilian philodendron and a card for a friend. I will be back if in the area again! As a dog mom, I also greatly appreciate their easy to see and helpful labeling of plants as dog friendly :)

I had to walk around the store several times to make sure I didn't miss anything. They had high quality journals, planners, note pads and letter writing sets from such great companies like Hobonichi, Midori and Leuchtturm. They also had a nice selection of pens including Kaweco and Lamy fountain pens--two of my favorite brands. Oh, and they had the funniest selection of greeting cards. This is what dreams are made of. Can you tell I'm a little in love with this place? My only complaint is that I wish they were located closer to where I live so I could visit them more often. I can't wait to stop in again to see what treasures they have to offer.

If you are looking for a flower arrangement for a patient at Mercy Medical Center, you can't go…read morewrong with using their Flower Shop, especially if you don't live in the CR area. They offer flower arrangements and you can add candy, plush animals, or balloons. I've received arrangements from them before, when I had my son there in 2003, and the flowers/plants were not only beautiful but lasted at least as expected, if not longer. If you call them before the 2pm cutoff time, they can have the flowers delivered to the patient the same day. They are very friendly and accept Visa and Mastercard. Ordering was a breeze. Visit their website for the phone numbers to call and all the details. As for value, there are a number of stock arrangements pictured on their site from $25-50, but they will gladly create or customize any arrangement to fit your budget. There's no handling fee like the teleflorists and if the patient is at Mercy, they'll deliver them for free. Today I was able to send flowers to a friend from almost 900 miles away, easily stayed within my unemployed budget and she'll receive the flowers by this evening. Not many florists could provide that level of service for the price.
