The service is great and the food is the perfect takeout dinner! This is a great spot! Everything we got was delicious!

Pleasantly surprised by this place! Small venue on 148, definitely a takeout/delivery place but their food is fresh, not too salty, great portions! Ordered summer roll and tom yum soup (small), ate one summer roll lol but it had 6 big pieces, the rice wrap not stale at all. Tom yum soup had generous tofu pieces and veggies! Definitely down to try their entree menus from now on...

Red curry and chicken Thai fried rice

Tried red curry here for the first time. Absolutely delicious. My throat was on fire not just because of the spices but because of the flavor as well! LOL. I have been dying to try, but anytime I see pad Thai on a menu I just can't resist. This time, I did and it was a breakthrough moment. The red curry has red bell peppers, onions, string beans and some other non-American veggies that were all delicious. The curry itself was spicy and just so flavorful. It comes with a bowl of white rice that the curry compliments so well! I also got a Thai iced tea here. MAN that was the bomb! So sweet so even when the ice melts, it's still very tasty. The shop is very small. Only two tables. But they have takeout through different apps. For management, I would recommend that instead of having two tables oriented in series with the entrance, maybe it should be oriented parallel to it and use the wooden benches along the wall as seats. Therefore, you can add more tables next to each other.

    Delicious Pad Basil with Tofu

Their Thai food is delicious! My husband and I love the Pad Basil (Tofu and Chicken) ($10) so much that we haven't tried anything else. The Pad Basil is a vegetable stir fry with your choice of protein all in a savory and slightly spicy sauce. It's sooo delicious! The veggies are always crispy and very fresh. I can tell and appreciate that they don't use frozen veggies. The dish comes with white rice. Cash only! The food is prepared very quickly. I've never waited more than 10 minutes. Their prices are affordable around $10 for most non-seafood dishes, however the portions are definitely on the smaller side. You can order delivery via GrubHub, Seamless, etc. Also, the chef is such a sweet and talented woman who is actually from Thailand (Chiang Mai) so the food is fairly authentic. Love this place.

    Chicken Thai Fried Rice

Awesome small little spot. Just walking around the area and happened upon here and so glad we did. Inside there's 2 or 3 small tables, so not much seating, they do mostly take out it seems. Very kind and nice people to deal with though. My girlfriend got curry of some sort, it was really good and I'm not an huge curry fan. I had the Thai fried rice with chicken and it was wonderful. Very flavorful. Overall, lovely spot. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended

    Green Curry with Roach

Green Curry came with a large ROACH. Would not recommend as there appears to be a low standard for health/cleanliness. I called the restaurant and they asked me if maybe it was an onion. So posting this for the restaurant to see as well.

But the employees were everywhere and they look to be working in unison with each other. It almost felt like a fine dining restaurant without quite the price tag. I would strongly recommend you make a reservation. The tables are not that big so you might want to think about ordering too much food. You only get 90 minutes to dine, but our server was a little generous with that time limit as there wasn't any one waiting when we left. All of the dishes we ordered was good in it's own right. The pork belly fried rice had a hint of sweetness to it. I think it might be tamarind or something. But I could totally be off based. The crispy bits of pork belly added a nice texture. It's nothing like I've ever had before. The short ribs was fantastic. Full of flavor and fall of the bones tender. The papaya salad is something that was very familiar to all of the others I've had. Very comforting. Overall, I would definitely come back here and receiving great service on top of the great tasting food was all I could have asked for.

The meat was incredibly tender and practically fell apart with a fork, while the Panang curry was creamy, rich, savory, slightly sweet, and moderately spicy without overpowering the dish. A quick ride on the LIRR or E Train will have you enjoying some of the best Thai food NYC has to offer. For me it all started with their Shrimp Croquettes that were fried to perfection and packed with flavor, then it was the Crispy Pork Belly, and for a second, I had to ask myself, am I in the Dominican Republic?! The crunch, seasoning, and flavor in every bite let me know immediately that they understood the crispy pork belly assignment! Let's not forget the cocktails! Each drink paired beautifully with the appetizers and dishes throughout our dining experience. Now, let's talk about the entrées. Their menu ranges from specialty seafood dishes to authentic, modern Thai cuisine. As a seafood lover, I especially appreciated the generous amount of Lump Crab meat in the Southern Crab Curry. The flavor was rich, comforting, and absolutely worth ordering. But the unexpected STAR of the night was the #TaroCustard! Who knew that the "everything bagel energy" could transfer so effortlessly into a dessert?! It was those crispy fried shallots that did it for me! If you're a true #Foodie, you already know sometimes it's that unexpected flavor assist/combination that creates pure magic on your tongue.
