Took a beginner's clay class here and it was so much fun! I made 1 bowl and my partner made a…read morematcha bowl. I like how they provide you with literally everything you need. There's parking in the parking lot but also plenty of free street parking in front too. There are cubbies for your bags and phones. Bring your own hairties and come wearing clothes you don't mind getting dirty. The instructor was super nice and very helpful in making sure we did everything ourselves so we could learn as much as possible. There's one restroom that's large and clean - there's even nice hand soap and lotion in the bathroom. We actually came in 20 minutes late because of traffic, but they were super nice about it.

I respond deeply to gestures of goodwill and trust from a business. This was the opposite. My interactions with a member of the leadership team left me feeling talked down to rather than respected. When I raised concerns about communication, the response was not to acknowledge the experience but to repeatedly defend and cite policy. The emails were unnecessarily long, defensive, unprofessional, and patronizing. My concerns and request for a middle ground were met with condescending rhetorical questions and comparisons that completely missed the point. Look beneath the glossy branding and the environment feels cold, transactional, and sterile. To me, that's not a place that fosters creativity. A business can have firm policies while still treating customers with generosity and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

Before I came I had…read moretrouble understanding what made a good portfolio, how to become unique in the sea of similar portfolios, and what the industry was actually looking for. I was also not exactly happy with the level of my work as well. However, at Decore, Yosef and Joon broke down what our portfolio is designed to do and the psychology behind the recruiters reading it. They also gave me amazing insider information on what the current market is looking for. The education I got here helped me improve my digital rendering capabilities and drawing skills as well. This helped me set up an amazing portfolio that got many responses from internships when I started applying. Now I'm interning at a Fortune 100 company under a top design team in the consumer electronics industry. I can honestly say I wouldn't have made it here and thriving without their help.

Yosef and Joon really helped guide me to create a portfolio that I was extremely proud of, for a new and competitive industry. Ive gained so many practical skillsets that are essential to have in order to work in the industry but that aren't focused on in the curriculum of even the top design schools. Not only did I make something Im proud to show, but I've developed the confidence to start working in the industry. Thank you Joon and Yosef!

Brought my niece here for her birthday, and it was such a cute, fun, and memorable experience!…read more From start to finish, everything was seamless. The staff worked with us so patiently, making sure to help us every step of the way. The machine we used to build the plushie body is super innovative and amazingly easy to use. They also offer a ton of fun accessories to truly personalize the creation. It's such a sweet, creative activity for kids (and adults!), and the plushie quality is so soft and cuddly. Highly recommend for birthday celebrations, special outings, or just a fun afternoon activity.

Parking: We parked at the Park & Walk - Schoolhouse Garage, which was the closest to the plushie workshop. It is $1 for the first 2 hours. Be sure to pay at the machines before you return to your car so you can (kinda) leave the garage faster. Environment: Once we arrived at the location, we had to call the phone number listed to inform them that we arrived. Someone will open the door and show you downstairs to the workshop. We pick the animal that we want to make and a staff member will set you up at their knitting machine. Instructions are provided as you progress in creating your plushie. The yarn is very forgiving so if you make an oopsie, the staff member will be able to help you fix or correct it. Then we get to stuff the plushie as much as we want to get that perfect hug/squish factor. The plush gets sealed up and we get to thread our final touches. What was ordered: - Chick Plushie Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. This was an interesting experience. I can say that this is the first plushie I've made by hand. Staff members are ready to help out! Credit cards are accepted.
