I never noticed this restaurant before but it is in Scholl's Plaza. So happy we gave it a try! The first thing I noticed is how family friendly it is. I mean there were at least 50% families dining while we were here and all the young kids were very happy. Most seemed like regulars and knew exactly what they wanted. I tried the lemon ricotta pancakes, loaded with blueberries! They were huge and didn't taste too lemony or too sweet. I really enjoyed them. Hubby had the chicken fried steak and said it was very tender and also quite tasty. He ordered it with pancakes instead of hash browns. It also came with eggs to order. A lot of food for sure! We arrived on a quiet Thursday morning half an hour after they opened. Only two tables were occupied and we had our choice. The staff was friendly and very helpful. My date got the Lemon infused waffles with marionberry syrup. It was wonderful and I had a taste to confirm. I had the 2x2x2. I will say it takes a lot to send me to Yelp about a place. But when it's *that* bad... it's noteworthy. Went into Six Corners Cafe for some breakfast. I used to enjoy this place. It changed owners a few years ago, they did some remodeling, blah blah blah. I went in at 11:30 AM. The place was busy. Despite a couple of empty tables, there were several people waiting to be seated. No one was checking on the incoming patrons. I finally decided maybe, since they were having problems seating people, I'd do them a favor and go to the counter and just place my order to go. After I managed to do this, they finally began to take people in. People who'd been waiting for at least 1/2 hour. Okay. Then they started seating people who came in *after* I placed my to-go order. Seating was beginning to open up. But I waited for my to-go order, since I didn't want to make anything worse. I saw there was like 1 cook in the back. Three servers, 1 of whom was also bussing the tables, another of whom was also handling the cash register. The third one seemed to spend a lot of time apparently trying to keep the cook on task, keep the orders straight, etc. I finally saw a couple of to-go boxes placed on a shelf -- just a book shelf, essentially. Nothing to keep them hot. I had a third order, so if that was part of my order, well... It would age nicely? Eventually, one of the servers saw me STILL standing there (45 minutes after I arrived), and said she'd check on my order. They were "working on it." A guy came in to pick up a to-go order, and I thought the bookshelf food may be his. I felt bad for him -- that food was gonna be cold. Then I saw some more to-go boxes appear. Then the server who was trying to keep the orders straight put the 2 bookshelf boxes in a bag and began to wander about frantically. She finally went to the cook and came up with a third box. If this was my order, only 1 item would not be cold. It was my order. And yeah, the bookshelf stuff was maybe room temperature. The confused server handed me the bag and asked if there was anything else I needed. Well, you asked... I said maybe tell people how long the wait might be. Maybe have some idea yourself about that. Maybe try keeping better track of who ordered what when. Maybe don't put half my order on the bookshelf to get cold and not finish the rest of the order for 20 minutes. Maybe a couple eggs and some hashbrowns didn't need to take an hour. (It was an hour at this point.) And honestly, given what I saw when I came in, there was no excuse other than poor management. It didn't have to be this way. So they comped me the cold food. I mean, ok, free food. But I wouldn't wait an hour for cold food if I'd known up front... I'd have gone and paid for hot food quicker somewhere else. The food would likely be good hot. But I wouldn't go here if there aren't 2 cooks and a busser outside of the 3 servers. They were 2 people short of reasonable service. I don't have the patience for badly managed business anymore. Not when they want to charge me an arm and a leg for mid food. They get 1 star for a nice clean place. I might give them a 2nd star for food if I tried it hot. But I won't bother going back. It's a shame. read more

This place is super close to us so we wanted to try it out since the prices seemed reasonable and the food looked good. However, we were both pretty disappointed in our food. I got one of the skillets with spicy sausage and the potatoes were both undercooked and overcooked.. They were hard but like burnt if that makes sense? The skillet overall was just bland and overcooked and not good. My boyfriend got the six corners fill up skillet with biscuit and gravy and he said his was honestly bad. The meat was essentially a hot dog (weird for breakfast) and super small portion. Maybe we picked the wrong dishes cause with all that being said, the other food looked good. The omelets were huge and the pancakes looked fire. I just usually always love a skillet and have never been disappointed. The one plus is the prices are super reasonable! First time here... it's a nice breakfast/brunch diner spot! Like most breakfast places there's usually some wait, but it wasn't too crazy. We might have waited about 15mins. We sat by the front booth so it was a bit chilly every time the front door was opened. I got the one of the omelette and my bf got the skillets. Forgot the names but I don't think you can go wrong with any. I really like how the omelette was folded with very thin layers.. Also... pleasant surprise as I am NOT a pancake person.. Although this great breakfast restaurant has been around for years, The place is newish looking, clean with interesting seating arrangements. Multiple booths in a connected circles configuration with two chairs on he open side. These booths are close together and if you have two large groups next to each other it may be to close for some people in CoVid years. Service was outstanding that day. Two buddies and I were able to carry on conversations without interruptions. The server's timing was excellent and he was attentive to all our needs between stories. Great! And yes the food is excellent. Super Pigs are just SUPER! Two full size brats wrapped in two buttermilk pancakes. I smeared the pancakes with only butter, perfect. The brats had a wonderful charred texture and flavor. And the two over easy eggs were perfect. My friends enjoyed their own choices for breakfast. One ordered the haystack and the other an omelette. All were satisfied with some take home. I only ate one of the super pigs and took the second home for the next morning breakfast.
