I rented a car on 29.09.2018 from Freiburg to give it back in Ingolstadt on 01.10.2018 at 10 pm. However, I returned the car at 7 pm, and the staff at the office didn't check the car at all. Now you are sending me inconsistent pictures from a damage that I didn't cause The pictures are from two different locations, without time stamp. Sometimes the car is wet, sometimes it is dry and dirty. I don't know when those pictures are taken. The damage report shows that the car was inspected after 24 hours I returned it I am told constantly that I returned the car back at 10 pm, and no-one could check it. But this is not correct. I told many times to check the survillance cameras, but no-one is checking them. I was there during working hours, but clearly facts aren't important for Sixt I was told that I should pay 530 Euros because there is a scratch on rim of a wheel. Then the amount was reduced to 320 Euros. In the latest email, I was told that the amount can be reduced to 950 Euros!!!! It was never over 950 Euros!!! Each time I write to Sixt another employee is answering my emails, and clearly they don't read the background of the events and they don't check surveillance cameras, but only check my contract. I can rent it for a longer time; but, I can return it earlier!!!! I gave back the car without that damage on the rim, the wasn't checked for one day, someone drove it around clearly. First half of the pictures are from a multi-storey parking lot where the car is dry and dirty. It is not the place where I left the car The second half of the pictures are from a parking lot, where the car is wet and clean. It is obvious that the car was taken inside, when it was dry. Then it was taken outside where it was washed because it wasn't raining at that time of the year I believe the damage happened when it was taken inside of the multi-storey parking lot, that is why I receive those inconsistent pictures. Plus, it wasn't checked when I returned it so there is no real evidence that I damaged the car Plus Sixt is not checking the surveillance cameras, employees don't check the cars, and they don't record the returning time at all. I came to the office alone first, asked where I should park the car. The staff there told me where to go. I left the car at that parking lot (not multi-storey) and returned back with the keys and with a friend. We were 3 people inside the office at that moment I don't understand how you can accuse people of damaging cars without carefully inspecting them at the time of return. I don't understand why your employees don't record anything happened at the office, like returning a car earlier then it was written on the contract I don't understand how you can ask a person to pay first 530 Euros, then 320 Euros and finally 950 Euros because of one damage. I wonder how professional you are. read more
