The hotel is modern, clean & really comfortable! I loved my corner room, and it was the single best nights sleep I had all week! Despite all the windows, you could not hear a bit of sound coming from the street below! The property is close to the train station, an easy walk if you have limited luggage & it's not raining; and is also close to the city center where there are some incredible restaurants! Here's the bummer....I have never been to a Marriott property in Europe where, as a Titanium Elite member (for life mind you) was not offered breakfast! I could not even go into the restaurant for a cup of tea & toast, was told I could pay for the €30 buffet or not have anything at all! It wasn't until made a comment at the front desk that they finally allowed us to have coffee! All in all it was a pleasant stay, I will definitely be back again!!

But I'm glad we chose here. They pay attention to details and make you feel important. We have Titanium Elite status. Which really means that we spend 100+/- nights a year in Marriott hotels. Sad if you think about it. But my husband is allergic to down/feathers. We put that on our preference card. Would you think that only about 20% of the hotel staff pay attention to that? They did here! They not only gave us an upgrade without asking, but they made it feather free before we had to check. God I love efficient workers! And I hope they are rewarded. They are conveniently located between Old Town and university hospital. We stopped at the train station and it was a completely sidewalk accessible .65 miles to walk here. And the locals here actually stop for people in the crosswalks. That's refreshing. The entrance is is grand and elegant. The staff met us graciously and with an eagerness to help us fully enjoy our time here. We came for the Christmas market and he was happy to point us in the right direction. It is also less than a mile from here. We verily did 2.2 miles and that was out and around, and back. Great location really. The room was spacious. Tastefully decorated. There were plenty of outlets and charging ports. Even USB and USC plugs on each side of the bed. They even left us a hand signed note and a fruit plate.
