Came here for a late lunch with my mom the other day. We seated right away with most of the restaurant to ourselves. The restaurant is beautiful from wall to wall and ceiling. With beautiful furniture and chairs that hug you when you sit down. I love the local artwork with the Lake Eola remembrance at the front of the restaurant made of all varieties of cork screws. There are multiple areas for private experiences as well if you were interested. I came here previously for an event and had to come back for the delicious food. I had to re-order the shrimp and avocado salad that was just as tasty as the first time. Shrimp was perfectly cooked with delicious fresh avocado, arugula, and toasted chickpeas with a hint of almost curry flavor. My mom really enjoyed her fresh made rigatoni with dices of grilled eggplant. I would most definitely come back here again and order other menu items. read more

Came to fill a random pasta craving a left with one of the best restaurant experiences we've ever had. Atmosphere felt cozy, warm, and fancy without taking away the "i belong here" feeling. Everyone just looked happy to be there. Service was second to none. Multiple managers came to check on us, we had a great conversations with Andrew, and Scott treated us to a whole tour of the establishment. And our server Heliana was super attentive and kind to us! Food was amazing and reasonably prized for what it is. I had the Creste Di Gallo that had an impeccable pesto sauce. The chicken just needed a TAD bit more time cooking- but other than that no notes. Took my bestie here for her birthday, it was her first time dining here and she was so happy! For me, the service can be hit or miss, but thankfully this time we had a happy server. The food came out hot and in good time. The flavors were great and the prices are moderate. The atmosphere is nice enough for a date or a family gathering. They have two large areas that can be used for private events, both beautiful and intimate. The whole restaurant is tastefully decorated and is great for pictures. Great first time here. We were able to walk in around 6pm on a Wednesday and get a table for 5. The drinks were tasty, an extensive wine list if that's your thing. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a fantastic aroma. Server was excellent. She took great care of us and was very polite and attentive. We started with the crispy zucchini, and it was absolutely phenomenal. Fried to a perfect crisp, it was so good we ordered a second plate almost immediately. Next up was the marinated artichoke pizza, which we requested without bacon. The pizza was delicious, with a beautiful char on the crust and a perfectly thin undercarriage. A great pizza all around. For our entrees, we had the double burger, Atlantic salmon, rainbow trout, and the creste di gallo pasta. The burger was ordered medium rare and was an exceptional choice. It was cooked perfectly, incredibly fresh and juicy, and seasoned with just the right amount of salt. The burger came with a side of crispy fingerling potatoes that were an absolute standout! Super crispy, well-salted, and a really cool twist on a classic side. While the salmon was good, the rainbow trout was even better in my opinion. The real surprise of the night, however, was the creste di gallo pasta. It was fantastic! The chicken was cooked perfectly and wasn't dry at all, and the pesto was wonderfully buttery and creamy. This location is absolutely breathtaking! The high ceilings, huge windows overlooking the pond and the bar were all equally impressive. I've went twice and both times received excellent service. This time I was with a group of friends sitting outside at the cigar lounge next door. I ordered a to go charcuterie board and they were able to put it in a pizza box so we could have the experience to share at the table rather than passing a plate around. For food, I ordered the fried zucchini and the tuna, both from the shareable plates section. Everything was excellent and absolutely delicious. The fried zucchini was crispy and flavorful, and the tuna was fresh and beautifully prepared. The service was great -- quick, attentive, and very friendly without being overbearing. It made dining solo feel comfortable and enjoyable. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, with a stylish and welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger. You walk into a big entryway greeted by super friendly hosts in a lovely white tile foyer and then walk into an even bigger room filled with lots of tables or a more family dining feel on a classy scale. Simple and elegant tiled and wooden decor. I love to look! The food and drink also did not disappoint. I enjoyed a espresso martini, and my husband had the tequila fix which is a margarita with fresh watermelon. Super refreshing! We had the Barada as an appetizer, which was fantastic! Sixty Vines is one of my FAVORITE restaurants in Orlando. They really do no wrong in my eyes. While I am a frequent visitor of the Mills 50 / Winter Park location, I was excited to finally visit the Sandlake location in Dr. Phillips. As to be expected, the decor was open, inviting, and just a nice play on a classic transitional modern yet Mediterranean-esque vibe. I always feel like I am sitting seaside on the Italian coast when I visit Sixty Vines. As for the staff, amazing. Everyone was kind and helpful. Our waitress for the afternoon was absolutely fantastic!! She went above and beyond and we were all pleased with the service as we were celebrating a dear friend of mine's 40th birthday!! Now, on to the good stuff: the food!! Yum! Yum! Yum! I am a creature of habit and naturally I had my usual order. As I always get, I got the Bacon-Wrapped Dates and the Campanelle. Usually I also get the Brussels Sprouts - which are simply to DIE FOR alongside the Fig & Prosciutto flatbread - but I didn't get either this time around. Nonetheless, the food never disappoints!! I always leave HAPPY and full!! As for the wines, yes!! Yes to them all but in particular yes to my favorites, which are any of their Grenache blends. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and lovely birthday well spent in honor of my dear friend, who is also Yelpie too!!! Anyways, ten ten tens across the board. A few other points before I close this out, this location is far larger and less crowded than the Winter Park location. Parking is not as bad as the Winter Park location but it can a bit dicey pending the timeframe you go because parking in Dr. Phillips gets a bit busy during the dinner time rush hours. Was so attentive and patient while going through the wine and menu options. We love how they offer various sizes of wine servings. We started with the burrata which was a perfect beginning. The spicy sausage pizza (minus the fennel) was scrumptious and so fresh. For dinner, we split the halibut and I ordered a side of Brussel sprouts to try (he hates them no matter how they are cooked). The portion of halibut was perfect for sharing atop a vegetable medley with asparagus, prosciutto and potatoes. To cap off the meal, we ordered the DEVILED AFFOGATO devil's food cake, vanilla ice cream, coffee caramel, nitro cold brew coffee shot. WOW!!!! I've been a fan of the Winter Park Sixty Vines for years, and was so pleased to find that the Sand Lake location has all of the goodness of the original, and then some! This location is absolutely stunningly with incredible attention to detail throughout. The result is a high end, yet warm and inviting enviromnent. I especially appreciate how open and roomy this space feels compared to the Winter Park location. The high quality of service also really contributed to the experience. When the seasonal margarita was unavailable, our waitress offered to have the bartender make a surprise drink based upon preferences, which made having to get a different drink fun and exciting! The surprise ended up being a holiday twist on an espresso martini, which was so tasty. I was also happy to find that not only does Sixty Vines have a couple mocktails, but they also offer Vitalitea Kombucha as a N/A option. I ordered the Braised Pork Papardelle for my entree and it was also really enjoyable. The portion of pork is generous, and the dish has the best combination of textures. The fresh noodles really make the pasta at Sixty Vines worth ordering. read more

What a swanky place! I loved the interior and the ambiance of the cozy nooks and greenery. We sat in the "sun room" type area and just had a ball. I loved how there were a ton of tables inside and then plenty of comfy seats in the "lounge" area. There was also a giant bar area with seating too. The food was delicious- not cheap but very good. I ended up mostly eating the charcuterie board and you really can't go wrong with a meat and cheese board The wine was phenomenal- we had all different kinds and our server was not hesitant about bringing us samples to try so that was really nice of him to cater to a group of 7 girls. Our server was very friendly and catered to a lot of our needs. He asked what kind of desert the birthday girl would prefer which I have never seen happen. Yum yum yum. This was my first time at a Sixty Vines, but they seem to be popping up everywhere in Florida! First, what an incredible wine selection that focuses on sustainability. I love that you can order by the half glass, all the way up to a carafe for the table. Our waiter also said you can order a bottle to go and they will fill it and cork it up for you! For the food, we shared a bunch of plates: the tri tip, burrata, margarita pizza, braiased pork pappardelle, and the mussels. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend the burrata - roasted garlic cloves and tomatoes over hearty bread really made it! Additionally, the tri tip was exceptional! The service was amazing as well; at one point we wanted more wine, but couldn't find our server - however, the manager stopped by to check in and brought a glass on the house. Additionally, by the end of the meal, our server (Kevin!) had sent all three of us two samples of wine that he thought we would like based on the wines we'd previously ordered. Met some colleagues for the cutest lunch ever in Dr. Phillips. I had been to the location in Winter Park once before, but this location was new for me. I drove in and the outside aesthetic was adorable. It was cute, chic, clean looking. They have an outdoor seating area, too, that is nice for when the weather is just right in Florida! I walked in and the decor was adorable. Literally, the cutest place ever! I was greeted by the waitress but the person who I was meeting showed up before me so she already had a table. The open concept feel is so cool and probably super vibin' at night. We sat down and quickly ordered some truffle fries and bacon wrapped dates. While the dates only came in a 3 serving, they were delicious and tasteful. The truffle fries are always a must in my book. I ordered the campanelle and it was delicious and filled with shrimp! The other girls ordered the burger, which she seemed to like. The fingerling potatoes were a hit, too. Highly recommend this place for a girls night out or nice dinner. read more

I visited the one closer to winter park and popped in for some drinks and it was very refreshing and I enjoyed it, but something about this new location definitely sparked my eye. Staff were super friendly and our waitress had great recommendations and taste for the drinks and entrees. My favorite dish had to be the orange bread. Beyond delicious and reminded of monkey bread and a cinnamon roll mixed. Drinks were refreshing , sweet and tasty. Definitely have to pop in here for some brunch if you're in the area. Amazing dinner experience! The Wood Roasted Cauliflower, the Golden Beats and the Crispy Zucchini were exceptional. The Trout and the Steak Frites were also amazing. They have an expansive wine menu and offer many sizes from 2.5 oz to a whole 750 ml carafe so even if you want a little bit of wine to join your table socially, you have many options. Title: Longtime fans let down by awkward front-of-house welcome at Dr. Phillips location We've been big fans of Sixty Vines for years and enjoy both the Winter Park and Dr. Phillips spots -- the wine-on-tap concept, beautiful space, and usually reliable food keep us coming back. On a recent mid-afternoon weekday walk-in, the service drop was noticeable right from the start. No one at the hostess stand when we arrived. When the hostess/manager finally appeared, they seemed unsure how to handle us even though the large dining room looked mostly empty with plenty of open tables. They mentioned two big parties and suggested it might be 10 minutes, then seated us at a high-top with a "maybe we'll have to move you" comment. Our server was already busy with one of the large groups, so we felt like second-class customers from the beginning. Adding to the odd vibe: one of the "priority" groups (a bridal party) was just standing around not even seated yet, and the other was parked playing cards -- very little actual dining revenue happening in a wide-open room. The thank-you on the way out also felt forced. Food was mostly fine (broccolini stayed legit, pizza and salad were okay), but the flat, hesitant greeting turned what should have been an easy, relaxed meal into a "meh at best" experience -- especially walking in from Restaurant Row where options are everywhere. We really want this location to succeed and match the consistently warmer, smoother service we get at Winter Park. Hopefully the team improves walk-in flow so regulars don't feel secondary to groups that aren't even turning tables. For now we'll stick to the Winter Park spot. Still recommend the concept overall, but front-of-house needs tightening at Sand Lake. read more

This is a great addition to the Sandlake Road dining scene. It's a beautiful restaurant, with a light, airy feel to the center portion, and more intimate summer house rooms at either end. Seating in the center is at long communal tables, but there are also individual tables and even lounge seating. The long bar in front of the wine taps also looks like a great bet. As you would expect from the name, there are sixty wines on tap. We really loved the selections, as many come from our favorite smaller producers and areas, such as California's Central Coast. Pricing seems very reasonable, perhaps because the wines are distributed in larger, more eco-friendly form. And since you can get pours as small as 2-1/2 ounces you can try a variety of wines without breaking the bank. The cocktail list looks very interesting, too. The lunch menu also seems fairly priced. We loved the two dishes we tried: fried chicken topped with lemon cream and caviar, and crispy zucchini topped with blistered shishito and peppadew. Service was friendly, but still learning the ropes. I'm pretty sure I would hate the noise level in here at night, at least in the main room, but for a mid-afternoon lunch the ambiance was delightful. read more
