Grand, simple & elegant garden. The inside was just amazing from room after room, from one level to the next and you got to down into the jewel in the basement for the grand jewels plus others. Just simply magnificent, I didn't have time to be bored or a break from it cause everything just connect from one to another. Everything just has that cozy but yet loyal vibe. Love it, and I think this is the best & my favorite I seem so far.

It's just as enjoyable to wander through as it is to ride anything. The moment you step inside, you're surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens, charming pathways, and incredibly detailed decor that changes with the seasons. Whether it's twinkling lights in winter or vibrant blooms in summer, Tivoli always feels magical. What really surprised me is how many great food options there are inside the park. From casual snacks and pastries to full sit-down restaurants, there's something for everyone. Most of it is genuinely delicious, not just theme-park good. It's easy to spend a few hours strolling, snacking, and taking in the atmosphere. Overall, Tivoli is one of those iconic places that really lives up to the hype. Even if rides aren't your thing, the ambiance alone makes it well worth a visit.

With its distinctive spiral ramp, the Round Tower has become a Danish landmark. Here are some notable facts and points of interest: 1.The Hollow Core: the shape of the tower was Denmark's geographical zero point. 2. There is an Observatory which houses a telescope built in 1929. 3. The Library Hall is used for changing exhibits, cultural events and concerts 4. The Spiral Ramp will get you to 10,000 steps easily; it is the only way to the top of the tower and spins 7 1/2 times around the Tower's hollow core. Believe me, you feel those twists as you climb. 5. The Bell Loft is situated above the Library Hall and two floors above the Trinity Church where the bells have rung for hundreds of years. 6. The Platform: once you climb the narrow stairs you are atop and can see all of Copenhagen's charms and Sweden. During the summer there is a kiosk that sells sweet treats 7. The Planetarium: shows the solar system I highly recommend visiting Rundetaarn. It is located in Norreport; beautiful shops and restaurants. Polse: best hot dogs are served in this truck outside tower Rundetaarn is located on: Kobmagergarde 52 A 1150 København K Denmark Check out Rundetaarn.dk for more info

Plus, it was raining so a good way to wait it out while taking in the sights. You walk up a gentle spiral to get a nice view of the city. Along the way, there are rooms you can stop in for art exhibitions, a view of the actual church (there was service going on when we were there), random alcoves, refreshments, and even the toilet. The place is clean and it wasn't overly crowded when we went on a weekday in the afternoon. Because of the gentler slope, it's friendly for all ages. The view isn't very high, but it's still pretty good! There are little "benches" along the way - in case you do need to rest or plan the next stop of your day. A good place to stop by to get a view of the city!

Many tour groups meet just outside the steps of City Hall and to the right of the building sits the picturesque Hans Christian Andersen statue. The main hall is beautifully decorated with Denmark's flags. Sometimes you'll catch recently married bride and grooms snapping shots around the halls. When visiting Copenhagen, be sure not to miss the City Hall Tower. Climb 300 steps above the sidewalk to get a magnificent view of the mostly flat city. From the tower you'll be able to see the port, twirling Tivoli rides and the far reaches of the surrounding suburbs. On windy days, be sure to check if the tower is open. Strong winds and gusts can close down this popular sightseeing spot like it did for two consecutive days before our visit. Tours to the tower are given Monday to Friday at 11:00 and 14:00 and Saturdays at 12:00. You can grab a ticket for 20 DKK from the office to the left of the main entrance. You'll need this ticket before you start the climb. There's no elevator and this is not disability friendly, so be ready to walk up all the stairs to the tower and wear appropriate shoes.

Our tour guide suggested that we have a look inside while we wait. It ended up being a nice cultural experience. It's open to the public in the daytime. On a Saturday morning, we saw a bride in her wedding gown having photos taken for her big day in the grand public courtyard. The sunlight was shining through the vaulted skylight ceiling above us. It's a warm & welcoming place for all to see. There are danish flags surrounding the hall as well as one from Greenland and another from the Faroe Islands. You'll see the other flags directly across from the entrance. There are a lot of artful details such as patterns & colors in the marble flooring and the mosaics of Nordic birds lining the inside of the arches. The soapstone lion basins provide relaxing sounds of flowing water while walking through the hall. There's a lot of cool things to see such as the clock tower and Jen Olsen's World Clock if you have more time. It's a 300 step climb up to the tower where you can get views of the city and Tivoli Gardens. It may be worth the small fee to book the tower as well as a tour of City Hall. We didn't get to see it all. There are a few things that I saw worth mentioning. The stained glass Coat of Arms, the Art Nouveau stone mural above the city council's chamber door, and the gold gilded statue of Bishop Absalon (the Founder of Copenhagen) tell you right away that this building was built with the Nordic culture and its people in mind. The phrase "Saa er by som borger" is there for all to see. It's what Martin Nyrop envisioned it to be in his architecture. It's totally worth a visit for the architecture alone. I'd love to go back to see the inner courtyard garden one day. Also, make sure you look up closely at the top of the building while you're walking around Rådhuspladsen. There are some unique sculptures that will draw you in.
