The result is everyone that needs to pay for something now have a huge waiting time in line. I also found out they can randomly shut the phone off so they wouldn't hear it, thus not taking any calls. Every aisle I walked in,I'd tell the associate to put their phones away. One guy was actually watching YouTube videos with his buddy. Another time, I tell them they'd get better customers if they took the time to walk a customer to what they're looking for, that is a Walmart policy. Another is if the price doesn't match the item, it's policy to sell that item at the advertised price. Walmart is just one big social gathering, they'd rather stand around speaking non English with their friends or family when they should be working. I honestly liked the old Walmart, how it is now, they block aisles so they don't have to tend to them. Next thing they'll pull is public washrooms, like in gas stations when they say it's out of order. That's a lie cause when stopping at a gas station every morning for fuel, I needed the bathroom, the cashier gave me the key and said because I'm a regular customer. Theat bathroom was immaculate, spotless. They're just lazy to clean why they close them. Isn't it mandatory to have a working bathroom facilities in any place of business? Terrace people should just boycott the store, go back to supporting safeway and save on foods. At Walmart, it's policy to give you a discount on damaged goods but they never do,I hope this spreads around a d they lose Terrace business. Maybe they should learn to hire people from all other ethnicities. Like local people. Seriously folks, everyone should just boycott Walmart

Please go to the following website http://www.dogfoodadvisor.com/, to find an alternative dry dog, you just may find a store that has continuous stock of the name brand that is comparable with Actrium 1. Wal-mart in Terrace BC, very seldom has stock of Actrium 1 dry dog food in their store. Just yesterday I was back there again, and lo and behold, no Actrium 1 dog food. I met another couple there who were also looking for the same dog food. Why is it that Walmart runs out of stock? I was told, by customer service on, Tuesday 10th December 2013, to keep coming back everyday to check to see if it is in. There is only one Walmart in Terrace BC and I am not ignorant about being told to keep coming back to check to see if it is in. If they keep running out of it - maybe deliberately, it just may be that they want you back today, back tomorrow and back the next day, because when you walk through those doors, you just may spend your hard earned money unnecessarily on other stuff. I thought it time to present this problem on yelp.ca to see if anyone else is experiencing a similar problem . If I have to purchase a good dog food brand, comparable to Actrium 1 from my vet, Dr. Kennedy, in Prince Rupert, then I intend to support them instead, they show they do care.

Do they not know if the wrong person walked in and saw that, say from human resources, or WCB, Employment standards, they can misconstrue that as harassment on the job or fraternization. There is no wrong doing when couples work together but only if they keep it at a professional level. I also went to buy oil by the jugs instead of the pail. The parts person had his friends hanging out there and they even tried telling me a pail is easier. The answer to that is, it isn't due to on some equipment, the oil fill could be 5 inches under the engine housing that cannot be removed. So pouring jugs of oil into a funnel is more efficient. In other words, kids hanging out there should learn to keep there opinions to themselves if they aren't employees there. It's a shame the new owner hires family and just high school kids with no knowledge of anything.

I find the service at the terrace location is very poor. Yes, there are a couple of long-time…read moreemployees that are great, but if you are unfortunate enough to be saddled with one of these kids, or part-timers or whatever you'll be better off going elsewhere if possible. I agree with the previous commenters. I went to get some soil and it was a major production for the kid to find the key to unlock the gate to the area in the parking lot where the soil was stacked. Then he didn't know where to find the type of soil that I wanted. I had to find it myself. Then when I drove my vehicle up to the stack of large bags of soil the kid asked- what do you want me to do? how do I put it inside your vehicle? Omg seriously, I replied- the usual way, you bend your back and pick it up!!! I ended up just telling him to get away and got it myself! I've had attitude from the woman that works the service counter also. She's one of the ones that have been there too long. She gets snippy when she has to look up which aisle something is in and whether it's in stock. She'll actually sniff at you, as in, hmmf. Andrew Sheret has every conceivable plumbing part. UAP Napa can get absolutely any auto part. Rona of course for other household bits and tools etc.
