Skeeter's Pub in Riverside has that classic neighborhood bar vibe where locals drift in, games are on, and the bartenders seem to know everyone. We grabbed seats at the bar, got our drinks quickly, and dug into wings with two sauces on the side. The garlic parm was packed with little bits of cheese and seasoning, was the favorite, and with the sweet Thai chili bringing a nice kick. A couple wings were a bit small, but they were super crispy. The California wrap was chopped so everything was evenly mixed, and swapping in chipotle aioli really bumped up the flavor. My bison burger was awesome, especially with onion straws and crunchy chips on the side to pile on top. I came with a good, old friend on Inauguration Day. BOO YA! Trumpy all over the many nice TVs. The place was jammin at 2 pm ish when we arrived. The staff's tees boast "best bar food in NJ" and I tend to believe it from what I had. A really yummy cranberry feta walnut salad with added chicken. It was so darn good - better than I expected for sure! I also enjoyed a glass of Moscato. Super and sweet young blonde server. We hung for a few hours and weren't rushed or anything. A really good memory was made for sure! I hate the name of this place, but oh well! We plan on returning. read more

This bar is a local staple for my friends and I that grew up in the area. You can always count on quick and friendly service and good bar food. We came in on a Saturday night for dinner and drinks and our waitress was very friendly and constantly checking on us, refilling our drinks, and taking several sporadic orders for apps and entrees. I had the Tito's sunset lemonade from the summer drink menu, but the waitress suggested subbing for mango vodka. It was a delicious and refreshing drink that wasn't too sweet. I also had the southwest chicken salad that was extremely fresh and hearty for the price. I would highly recommend! Only complaint is that the bathroom isn't always the cleanest, but with the amount of traffic they get through on the weekends and evenings, I'm sure it's expected. read more

First time at skeeters skeet,skeet Sydney was our server she's the ish super cool vibes look the wings were fire the sweet Thai chili wings bang. The chicken Italiano disappeared no sign of it anywhere. Mozzarella sticks the same, I ordered the Moscow mule for a little sippy sip. Ordered the shrimp basket for the ol'girl (mom) she enjoyed it a lot the inside is your local vibe sports bar tv screens in every angle the service was great as well. read more

This is a great sports bar with lots of TVs and bar seating. Great outdoor bar and seating as well weather permitting. Their wings are great. Crab bisque is always a must! Skip on the crab cake bites. They aren't the best. The fish and chips is a good choice and a large serving. The wraps are packed and a good choice as well. Weekly specials too! The service here is great. The food is ok. The tables glasses and dishes were clean. We used to come here all the time but for what ever reason stopped going. I think because it's a little bit far for average bar food. The beer selection is definitely on point ! Stopped here with my wife and child on a Saturday. We had a great experience with the exception of the motorcycle "club" that came in. I didn't really appreciate 6 "club members in the bathroom while I was there with my child. Met friends here to watch the NCAA final four games. Decent sized TVs throughout the bar. Busy Saturday night, place was packed, especially the bar. Ambiance was loud and lively. The 4 off us sat at a high top table. Likely short staffed so service was a little slow but the waitress was friendly. I got vodka martinis which were pretty good. The guys had beers on tap. I ordered the mini crab cakes with old bay fries. We loved it.. very, very good for "bar food". The menu looked pretty good overall and I'm willing to return to try different stuff. This is a great place for bar food, meeting up with friends or a date. I stopped here on the recommendation from a Food Group I'm on as I knew I'd be in the area and asked where I could grab a nice lunch. This place got big points from me upon entering when I saw comfortable Bar Stools. I don't care how old you are, those industrial style stools with no backs and no arms will send me right out of a restaurant. They are not friendly to anyone that simply wants to enjoy a meal at the Bar, sure I could sit at a table but then I don't learn about the area and get to chat with locals and learn even more about the town. So here we go~ the food here is just average, nothing to write home about. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Would I go back? probably. Reserved an event weeks in advance. They completely forgot we were coming and then did not let us order from their catering/party menu. The price went from an expected $120 to over $300 completely throwing off our fundraising goal. On top of this, individuals requested to separate tabs and our server Mallory did not do so. My place of employment held a retirement party at Skeeter's on Friday and we had a wonderful time. The staff was professional and friendly meeting our every need; the food was excellent, the prices were very fair, and the venue on the outdoor patio was perfect for a June day. For some reason I have to preface this with "we're only talking about a bar here"... I haven't been to Skeeter's a lot. But I have been going for roughly 30 years... Enough to remember when it was no larger than a two bedroom, 1/2 bathroom little building!! Always a great place to fall into. But not the big bar with the large deck that it is now.. There's plenty of craft beer here, drinks and specials are worth the stop.. The menu.... Let me just say that these are probably the best cooked wings in South Jersey. The rest of the menu, by bar standards is very good. I've tried several items without being disappointed yet. The scene... You have the midweek, which is cool and laid back. You have your game nights.. Expect the place to be crowded. Then you have the weekend nights. I recently went on a Saturday just expecting to have an order of wings, a beer or two, then head home. I think people were parking at the Wawa across the street... Let's just say that after being carded and staring at the security for a few, I stepped into the joint, I entered to find a couple hundred of my kids inside... After making my way through my spawns dancing on every inch of space inside, luckily I found a seat at the bar... For the amount of people waving for drinks, the bartenders were doing an amazing job. I wound up having a drink or two with my wings before leaving after about an hour or so.. I told my oldest daughter about my brief stop to eat... She said "The older folks night is on Sunday, Dad"!! Good place to watch sports. They have a bunch of TVs, HOWEVER the food is not good at all. I ordered the Crab bites and they looked like they came out a frozen bag bought from ShopRite. They looked like off-brand chicken nuggets. And the pizza tasted like a cafeteria pizza. First time here and very disappointed with the food. read more

These were some of the best mussels in white garlic wine sauce I have ever had. They beat chicke and pete's by a mile! The chicken cutlet sandwich I had was so big I could only eat half. I very much enjoyed my meal here. They say they have the best bar food in south Jersey, and I don't disagree with that statement whatsoever. This seems like a great place to watch local professional sports. The bar staff was very warm and attentive. There seemed to be a decent amount of beers on tap and specials. We ordered mussles in red sauce. Amazing! It was 2 pounds of delicious mussles and a hefty side of garlic bread. I ordered the filet mignon sandwich. Terrible! Unedible! The bread was soggy from the pickle they put on the plate. The lettuce and tomato looked old and dingy and the meat was chewy and unseasoned. Disgusting! Was referred to by a close friend and ordered takeout. My wife and I both ordered the shrimp basket platters with fries (with an extra 3 shrimp each). The shrimp were supposed to be "jumbo" but was hardly that! There was so much bread on the little shrimp that it filled my whole platter box it came in. Fries were very good. Paid $40 for 2 shrimp platters with baby shrimp that were considered "jumbo." We will not be returning. read more

Place slaps. Sundays with Kyle and Colette are the most fun I've ever had in my life and I have had a lot of fun so this means a lot!

This is based on the take-out experience. We ordered 30 wings and when we got home and started putting them on plates did not look like 30 and sure enough they only gave us 25. At $1 per wing that is unacceptable not to mention we did not have enough for everyone. When I called they said there was nobody in charge there that could make a decision. No manager must be nice!
