Skeie doesn't represent a brand. I hope Rolex is looking into this. I will email Rolex US to bring to their attention. Skeie should be investigated. In 2021, I worked with Lexi in the hope of buying a gold watch. I was looking for a yellow gold date day in a black dial with a diamond. I have visited the showroom a few times. Each visit, she took down my name and phone number. I checked back every 6 months; however, each time I did, it got pushed to the following year. In 2025, that's after four years, I escalated to a manager, Andrew. When I talked to Andrew in June 2025, he said it seems like, for that particular watch, I will be looking for another 2 years. This doesn't represent Rolex. When it comes to communication, Skeie's Jewelers has zero communication. They don't intend to sell it or have any interest in helping. I understand some watches are hard to get, which I also told them I am open to any other dial. Many of you might have thought Why did I spend this much effort in a business for a watch. Lets start with the atmosphere, I flew down from Alaska on vacation for my 50th birthday and met Andrew Hughes, who did not treat me like the tourist I was at the time and talked with me about Tudor and Rolex. He treated my so much better than my authorized dealer (AD) here in Alaska. He offered my wife and I coffee or water (it was 85 degrees so we chose water). I was super hyper about being on vacation and there with so many watches I can't see at my AD at home. They were polite, professional and relaxed. SO much that I am going back to Eugene to get my 51st birthday present to myself this august. Hopefully a Rolex or a Tudor from Andrew and his staff. I spoke with someone regarding a Rolex watch not long ago. I'll leave her name out of the review as a courtesy. She didn't embody the sort of standard I'd expect from a Rolex AD. Down the road as we continued to inquire about the status of our requested watch, she seemed to forget about us. We've been trying to reach her, but a colleague always gave us the same line: she's with a customer and she'll call back. She never did. I feel like she didn't want to spend time speaking with us. This was my first stop in engagement ring shopping. I was immediately dismissed and ignored by the sales people. Literally got this face: when I walked in. I brought in some jewelry I inherited from my mom and I did not feel that the gemologist was respectful or kind, especially considering these were things that had belonged to my mom who died just last year. She said among other things, "you won't get rich off these." (Which was never my stated or implied goal.) Having visited several other places since then and been treated with nothing but kindness and respect, it is even more apparent to me how out of line my treatment was here. This is the final follow up on my most amazing ring. It took about two months from original visit to having it on my finger. Stones ordered and chosen and set, ring re-sized and then re-carved where the down sizing happened. This is not an out sized amount of time for this service, and platinum is not the easiest metal to just re-size. I love it, it is perfect. Just my style! They convinced me of a nearly $800 dollar service. When I got the watch back, it broke a week later. Who EVER heard of a Rolex breaking!?!? When I brought it back in, the manager had the nerve to disrespect Rolex by stating that a Rolex could break just by a movement of the wrist. Ridiculous, and insulting-he did not wear a Rolex. When I spoke to the manager today, his tone was very condescending and in the middle of our conversation, he rudely interrupted me to greet someone though the office door was closed. I was so impressed with Skeie's that I would recommend it to any one of my friends or family. Service is terrific; you can take your ring in at any time and have it cleaned for free. I knew nothing about diamonds before I went engagement ring shopping 10 months ago. The other three stores I visited just tried to sell me a ring; Ryan, my salesman at Skeie's, instead walked me through the differences of diamonds and rings and took the time to ask about my fiancee's tastes well before he showed me a case of rings to choose from. I gave Skeie's jewelers of Eugene a $1,000.00 deposit for a Rolex watch in the spring with a promise that I would get my watch in the fall when the new shipment of watches arrived. I just got a call from the owner saying that I had to appear at Skeie's soon so I would still be on the list for my watch. I am currently on an extended vacation in Michigan with my grandchildren. If I did not appear I would be taken off the list since Rolex sent a letter to Skeie's that demanded purchasers appear in person to prevent having their watches appear on the secondary market. Sounds like I was never going to get my watch. Not a good way to do business in my opinion. They did refund my money but paid me no interest while they used my money. Horrible repair department. I brought my necklace in to get a simple chain repair which most places I've been to have done the day of in about 15 minutes, but the first time I brought my necklace in it took them a week and only cost $10-not too bad. A couple months later, I brought my necklace back to get the chain repaired again and all of a sudden they claim it'll take about 3 weeks to fix it and it'll be between $30-50, which we called BS and they agreed to go back down to $10 like before. Three weeks pass and still no call, so I call just to find out they haven't even touched my necklace. Completely ridiculous. read more

Jenn found a few things that compromised the integrity of the ring, and determined it needed a little repair, not to be re-sized. It has been about eight months with the watch and everything has been great. i took the watch to Skeies a few days ago due to moisture inside the mechanism.
