The place seemed pretty unorganized. Once we got in we waited for about 15 min to go through a small house that took us about 4 min to walk through, and was not impressed by what was inside. Then was told to wait til they called our group to continue onto the next part, and we basicslly had to just stand around with 100 other people trying to see if our group was called. There was lines everywhere and no real clear organization. Ended up paying $50 and not even staying. Most likey would have taken us 2-3 hrs to get through with it. Skeleton's Lair is the usual Halloween attraction of a series of haunted houses / hay rides that proliferate at this time of year. But above all the others Skeletons Lairs has the added benefits of overriding incompetence and business greed. Unlike other attractions of a similar nature I visited it doesn't control the number of visitors entering per a pre-defined period of time. The result is two things. First as friends experienced in previous years the attraction becomes over crowed resulting in over long queues and staff telling customers to hurry up and move on rather than actually allowing them to enjoy the experience they paid for. Second they sell "Fast Track" tickets for you to jump the queue in short after paying them they expect more money from you to be able to go around the attraction without waiting in the inordinate queues they caused by mismanaging admissions. This year there true level of greed, arrogance and incompetence were on display. Part way through the attraction the power cut leaving everyone quiet literally in the dark. It took an hour to actually get some standby generators online. Now this alone is a disgrace. If you're running an attraction that relies on electricity, you're taking people's money with a draconian no refunds policy you should have generators ready to kick in within a few minutes of something like this happening. I work in IT if for some of the companies I've worked for the data centres had gone down and we had wondered about as clueless and abusive as Skeleton's Lair staff we would have justifiably lost our jobs. The staff when spoken to were uniformly aggressive and completely refused to give any refunds even though the attraction had failed completely due to their mismanagement i.e. failure to have plans and action in place to promptly replace a failed power supply. And so the true nature of Skeleton's Lair as a grab the money and run operation was revealed. Given the generally exemplary customer service experienced across America this shower of charlatans came as a cold bath. A final thought one attraction described by a "mis-manager" of Skeleton's Lair as a "beautiful haunted house" (their words NOT MINE) had as one of its presumably meant to be frightening exhibits a cob web covered Ray Charles. Skeleton's Lair used to be one of the greatest haunted attractions around, but they've changed it. It is now utter chaos. They've added fast pass which has clogged up the lines. There aren't enough workers, and not enough actors. We got there at 7:30 and didn't leave until 1 in the morning. Definitely was not worth the wait!!! Will NEVER go back. read more

Three of my friends and I had so much fun! We have never screamed harder in our life! The props and actors were very realistic and added to the spectacular horror that was already in place. The haunted forest was the best with multiple areas each including a scary scene. I would definitely recommend this for a good time! Another thing to note is that you can purchase your tickets online, which made the experience very convenient. In conclusion, just go! You will love it! read more
