Came to this place today cause I saw them on tik tok. The woman that took my order barely knew English and she was alittle dry... I asked her the difference between 2 sandwiches she barely knew how to answer so I gave up. This place is Armenian run not Lebanese... I ordered 2 sandwiches. Seems like there understaffed and confused. I wish the guy from TikTok made my food for me... 2 lady's didn't know what they were doing at all it made me feel uncomfortable. The lady was making my food and eatting something with her hands. The lady's were nice regardless. This place is definitely not LEBANESE. Falafel was not seasoned the Lebanese way. The chicken sandwich was ok tasted burnt someone piece and slimy on other pieces, nothing special and the falafel was so salty my girlfriend was barely able to eat it. They gave her radish inside of her sandwich instead of pickles also. Even tho the menu said pickles there wasn't one pickle. I'd never come back here again my butt hurts from the small chairs they have inside also. Just watching them make the food made me Grossed out. Once I saw the girl eat something with her hand and then continue to make a sandwich I was blown away. Really wanted to like this place. For their beef fillet plate. Which was 5 pieces of beef cubes on a bed of fries, with a side of tabouli, and babaganouj as well as a yogurt drink. It was $44. I can't believe I spent that much on that. So food was a 4/10 at best and again I can't believe I spent $44 dollars on barely any beef. I thought at least it would come with 2 skewers, in the photos there was so much more meat than what was actually served. But it's located on a main Hollywood street so I'm not sure what I expected. Ambiance was fine and service was basic, was very hard to order from the cashier. She didn't know how to add the extra salad for $4 option and tried to add a 10$ salad. It was the first day of Skewer being under new management, and we got to chatting with the new owner Sako (sorry if I spelled it wrong!) who's Lebanese, and used to be a chef for 28 years in Chicago for NBA teams, and worked with Gordon Ramsey!
