right after booking, I reached out to see if I could get one hour of additional time so I could take my work call from the property. ----Mind you they have five hours to turn the place. They said no. i told them I would need to find another place and asked for a refund... despite having booked five minutes prior, they said I would need to reach out to Airbnb. As of now, they have refused to refund my money despite their being 15 minutes between the time of booking and cancellation. Just another big crummy management company. We had another great experience with ski country resorts. The office location is easily accessible as you enter Main Street. We stayed upstairs in the Penthouse for our summer family vacation. Jenny and the staff were very friendly and responsive. The location is ideal and the one time we needed assistance, the maintenance staff was at our door in minutes. This place was absolutely disgusting!!!!!' We rented a two bedroom with a loft and all the beds had hair on them and the rooms smelled like urine. On top of that, the living room smelled moldy and one of my guest's childhood asthma starting to come back. We brought guest and they were mortified. We had to find other accommodations the following day. The management company couldn't care less. If you absolutely hate your family or guest, then rent this place. We reserved building D and had okay time at first. Only thing good about this place was the view. It sucks otherwise, there was trash behind the hot tub, no hot water, washer does not work with tide powder they give you and dryer takes three times to dry a full load, everything was broken, grill wasn't clean, no second parking permit provided, and they changed the lock on the door before our check out time so our friend couldn't get back in. Even more weird, our friends got there with their dog and within an hour they knew we had a second dog and had to pay 50 bucks. Called for a later check out time and 1030 was the latest? We had a van and car outside watching us pack. Nothing like taking time off to a place that seemed nice and getting rushed to leave...even when it wasn't clean before we got there. There was dog poop on the patio, used pony tails under the bed, and why would you have humidifiers to use in storage that don't work? Do you not check this before your guests come??? Also, they didn't even mention where the trash was or close places to drink/eat. Bar next door doesn't serve outside and they are not friendly. This list could literally go on. Really disappointed and rather have stayed at the hotel across the street. read more

We have enjoyed the opportunity to travel to Breckenridge the last 7-8 years. We Love everything about it! This past two years we used HomeExchange.com And used points and this year we did a direct exchange with other homeowners. They stayed in our home on the beach in Ormond Beach Fl. and we stayed in their cozy 1 bedroom villa at the base of peak 8! It was small but adequate. The Park Meadows location is a 5 minute walk to downtown and we actually ski and snowboarded right off the slopes into the parking area of our townhome. The lodge had a great big round fireplace that was gas lit and provided heat and it was surrounded by 4 comfortable couches. There was a pool table and ample large tables to play board games or cards or read... downstairs there were separate laundry facilities and another gaming hangout area that had a foosball table and a really nice ping pong table. We laughed so much playing ping pong we are gonna set up one when we get home! Ok the real thing we need as a luxury during our mountain getaway is hot tub and they had two large ones hot and easy to uncover. With the covid situation we were able to wait our turn on two occasions and the other 5 nights we were able to get right in. Although they are large enough for eight people we were grateful to enjoy the social distancing that is very strict in Breck! The week we arrived they just moved from red to orange restrictions in dining requirements which allowed for 25% occupancy. Upon arrival in Denver we shuttled over to Breckenridge and arrived around 10 pm and were hungry. Town was closed up so we got a ride to City Market to get groceries. As City Market was closing we hustled to quickly get some things And found ourselves without transportation back to our Park Meadows Accommodations. So... we were walking and it was cold! Our first Angel encounter was "Peter" an employee from City Market who pulled over and offered us a ride to our location at Park Meadows. We started our first morning by getting acquainted with the complimentary shuttle service provided by the Ski Country Resorts Breckenridge management and we were blown away by them all week! Personal concierge shuttle drivers to the lifts in the morning, to shopping or dining in the afternoon and evening, Brian, Jason, Max and Trent our hospitable drivers during the week were the next 4 angels in our midst, what a blessing! First we went downtown to do some shopping. Again the challenges of covid were very limiting to only permit a few people in the stores at a time but everything was worth the wait. We are all dealing with it! The mountain and the skiing and boarding were good to excellent. The mountain could use some more snow from Mother Nature, however we wanted for nothing other than Peak 6 to Open! We also appreciated the shuttle service to and from Denver, Fresh Tracks and Summit Express. So nice to leave the driving to the Pro's! 5 Star Vacation read more

Upon our arrival to the condo we were greeted by bags of trash stacked by the front door, the whole hall stunk from the previous week occupants' trash. It didn't bother me that much but it should've been our first indication of the fact that this place would be really half ass cleaned. After a long day of travel I went straight to the shower... there was dark hair stuck to the walls. I was hoping this was just missed during cleaning but it was setting the stage for the hairiest stay of our lives at what we will forever refer to as "The Hair Bnb". A few of our kids were hanging out on a bed when I happened to notice the people behind my blonde daughter had long black hair on it. After pulling down the comforter we discovered more hair. We inspected all 4 beds and there was black hair on/in every single one. The sheets clearly had not been changed. We ended up making a pallet on the floor and sleeping on the couch. I called trying to leave a voicemail but the menu said to leave a message at the beep then reroutes you to the main menu, leaving you no actual way to leave a voicemail. So I emailed the company to let them know and sent photos of all the hair we found. We contacted VRBO that night and then magically I received a phone call once VRBO was involved. They said they would call in the morning. They open at 8 so I was hoping I'd hear from them early to get this resolved. After not hearing back from them by almost 11:30, I called VRBO and what do you know after that I heard from the company. They said they'd send someone to clean and refund the first night. One week later we still haven't received that refund. Upon returning I was disgusted to see only the sheets were changed and not the blankets on top of the sheets or the comforters. That's a real half ass clean especially when we're in the middle of a pandemic. The hair on the shower walls was still there. It has been vacuumed, sheets changed and the dishwasher had been run. To top it off, my personal pillow was missing. We thought maybe they'd confused it for theirs so we checked the pillows in the bedrooms. BAD idea. They were so stained/yellowed. It was disgusting. We never did find my pillow. I didn't care, I was so ready to leave that place. We've sent all the photos to them and really received no actual response or accountability for what was a really unsanitary, disappointing stay. The worst part is we were told we'd get a refund and did not. So we essentially paid to sleep on the floor with our own pillows and blankets from our road trip. read more

Stayed at Tannenbaum II 303 12 person place. Was not disappointed in our choice at all. There were 4 queens, 2 single beds, and a sofa queen rollaway. This place was stocked with all the cooking / food utensils you'll ever need, the beds were comfortable, the heating / fireplace kept everything warm and cozy, TVs in every room and a big TV in the main living room, what else can you ask for? Phone calls were always answered promptly and efficiently, I cannot say anything about customer service like getting towels restocked (we never asked) The rentals with Christy Sports (I believe they are affiliated or associated with) was absolutely amazing. They accommodated all of our issues (we had some scheduling conflicts and they were totally ok with us changing our dates. read more

We checked in and out at this office for our VRBO (Vacation Rentals by Owner) condo rental. This seems like a great option for owners renting their properties through VRBO. Payment is handled online (directly to the owner) through the VRBO website while Ski Country Resorts manages/maintains the property and delivers keys. The people working the desk were friendly and efficient. They gave us as many keys and pool passes as we wanted. Check-out was ridiculously painless as well. This office shares space with the Christy Sports rental shop, which is kind of ingenious; check into your condo and pick up your gear rental all in one spot. Park around back in one of the reserved spots. read more

The staff was friendly - for the most part - and our experience was overall good. Though, one of their staff members (out of kindness I will not identify by name) had a nasty attitude on the phone each time we spoke. It felt like they were doing a favor by speaking to us. Customer service is everything in business and this is why I am rating them so low. As for the property (Tannenbaum 303 A & C) it was priced pretty well and the proximity to the base of Lift 9 is wonderful. But, the decor and beds in our 1 BR unit were right out of the 80s. The loft unit (A) was full of light, had a gas fireplace, cozy couches and a two story pitched roof. Though the bed in the loft was a lumpy futon on a broken wooden platform. We told them about it and I assume they'll fix it. The adjoining (C) unit/room was dark, dingy and dreary. The beds were old and worn out, the walls horribly thin and we were woken up by our relatively quiet neighbors. Did I mention it was really dark. To be fair, I assume that each rental unit is different and clearly Ski Country Resorts isn't responsible for that (since they do have pictures on their web site of the rentals) but the noise, and crappy beds should be addressed. And one tip for others, it appears that if asked they will give a 10% discount. They did for us and I strongly suggest you ask for one. We will not likely be renting from Ski Country Resorts again or staying at the Tannenbaum property again. read more

Very disappointed in their customer service. I would give them 0 stars if I could. As a single parent who wanted to reschedule a weekend because of an injury and even provided a copy of the MRI, I am even more disappointed. I spoke to a rude employee who clearly didn't have any control over the situation anyhow because their policy is just standard to screw over any guests. You don't need to go any higher because as you can see from their three star reviews; this isn't a company who repairs things to keep their reviews high. Horrible Customer Service! We were quoted and paid for a 2 bedroom with kitchen condo. When we got there it was two beds in one room, and a microwave! The toilet was broken and there was carpet cleaner still on the floor. To top it all off they wouldnt refund our money. We had to call another company to get them to refund us. This review is primarily related to the property management aspect of Ski Country. First, the things they did well: The check-in staff was excellent, personable and very helpful. I give full credit for these two stars to them. They also were highly efficient, having everything ready for us to check in and off to our condo very efficiently. Now for the not so good: The property was a blast from the past, the common area had a nice fireplace and TV room, the basement had a pool table, and there was a single dining room table for parties in the 16 or so room condo. Everything was exactly as built in the 70s. Retro or Hot Tub Time Machine is the best description I can give. There are no phones in the condo we were in, so we used our cell phone to call the property management team. Calls were answered promptly, but answers and/or service were slow. A hair dryer request was fulfilled 6 hours later. New towels were met with extreme opposition, despite the room documentation clearly stating that every other day they would changed out. In a six day stay, we had to call on Day three, and the experience kept us from asking again on Day 5. I agree with Jay P.'s review where he said the customer service team seemed like they were doing me a favor by speaking with me. If you are an absolute condo minimalist and just need a bed to lay your head on in between full ski days, this is your company. If you want anything more to your ski experience, then definitely look higher. read more

This is a hidden gem for value stays in Breckenridge and the surrounding areas. Stumbled upon them a few years ago and must say I am very impressed. They offer extremely good rates during ski season and the staff are super responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Ski Country also has their own Ski Shop on Main street with economical rentals of high quality gear that really make the whole renting / staying process a breeze. Ive been known to find $99/nt room rates with these folks and always enjoyed my rooms and property proximity to lifts and the town. Highly recommended! read more

I just purchased a stay from Living Social for one of their properties. The place was booked. Thankfully they found a unit that was of lower quality than what I purchased to put me in so I could still use the deal for the dates I intended. Here's the problem: The deal receipt said tax not included, the representative said tax and reservation fees are not included. The deal said 72 hour cancellation policy applies, the confirmation from the rep said cancellations within 30 days of reservation forfeit entire amount. These are huge discrepancies and really quite unacceptable. I haven't even stayed yet and I already have a bad taste in my mouth. Bottom line: bad business practice. read more

From the first e-mail confirmation of our room I was not impressed! On there website they had a section for special instructions & I asked if we could check in early. I was told we could but upon arriving they said they weren't sure. I also never got a paid receipt- The apt. was not arranged well & the couch was old very uncomfortable & didn't pull out -so we couldn't watch tv together!! It was clean but not arranged in a suitable way! The tap water was horrible! The baseboard heat was up & down & not easy to control!! The bedroom had no tv & the blanket had tears & the comforter very out dated! The lamp bulb kept flickering-The mattress was too hard & not ideal for a get away weekend!! The apt. was clean but not up to resort standards! We will not be booking with this company again nor recommending it to anyone!! Also the hot tubs are too far away & you have to walk outside too much to get over to where they are located from the rooms. Also in the commons area all the books were old & there was no coffee or easy way to make any! Everything outside of our accommodations was great & we love Breckinridge! My fiancé & I stayed at Park Meadows/ apt. 8B. From the first email response they were disappointing - on there info sheet they asked about special instructions & I requested early check in - they said that was no problem but upon arriving they weren't sure & had to check. The apt. was arranged very poorly & the couch old & uncomfortable - it didn't pull out so we weren't able to watch tv together facing the tv. There was no other seating. The tap water was horrible! The bedroom ceiling light was out dated & the lamp bulb kept flickering. The blanket on the bed had tears in it & the comforter old & not fresh. The mattress was too hard & the baseboard heating went up & down & wasn't easy to adjust or read. We stayed here to celebrate a birthday & have a romantic get away- we were disappointed!! The hot tubs are too far from the rooms & you have to walk outside way too much to access them. In the commons area the books are old & furniture needs updating. We expected a pretty low quality condo based on the price we were paying, but were happily surprised with the overall experience. Some back story first before I vote for Ski Country Resorts for all your snowboard/ski/lodging needs. Definitely not a noob at this as I am from California(Mammoth Mountain, Lake Tahoe, Big Bear) and have had my wide range of experience with lodging, rentals for those that need it, easy access to the lifts. If you ever need a one stop shop for all the of the above, I do not know why you need to search further than Ski Country Resorts. One solid emphasized word, Easy. E-A-S-Y. Thank you Ski Country for accommodating my friends and I (group of 12) so smoothly throughout our trip! This was a first for the most of us at Breckenridge and boy, you all threw it out of the park. Pros: Arrived around 11-Noon on a Thursday from Denver airport, jotted down my phone number to ring me when the condo was ready which was around 3pm, awesome!, allowed my entire group the convenience of leaving our luggage in the downstairs office/basement, friendly doggie assistants (your dogs are lovely!), clean and very roomy condo, easy to follow instructions, had more than enough keys for my large group, complimentary shuttle service with an awesome driver, Ben (you are so chill, awesome, and prompt), everyone at the rental counter inside ski country office was so polite, willing to help those that needed rentals, and very friendly, super easy check out process, and last but definitely not least, walking distance to peak 9 lift which takes you to top of peak 9, shred your way over to beaver run super lift/peak 8 superconnect and BOOM! there you have it, are you still searching for a great resort cause you got one right here, hands down. Cons: I can not even think of any. Lifts close at 4pm. But that is okay, go enjoy downtown and do not forget to make reservations at some of the best restaurants! Okay places to stay, no doubt, but customer service is really lacking. You are much better off booking through Airbnb instead. You'll get just as nice accommodations, better price point, with MUCH better customer service if you do it right. We had been staying in Ski Country Resorts' properties for years, but this last time they charged me $70 for accidentally taking the hotel-style card pool key. Did I take the pool key by accident? Yeah, guilty. Should I have returned it sooner? Probably. Should it have cost $70? Debatable. Should they have considered the fact that I have been arranging 6-12 person trips there for 7 out of the 8 last years, and likely would have in the future? This company gives exceptional service from the first phone call, to arrival service, throughout our stay, to check-out. And then even after check-out. Even though the agreement says they have no responsibility for anything left in the unit, when we discovered we had left something, they were able to retrieve it for us. Very nice, helpful with everything we asked. We stayed at Retreat 3. It was in excellent condition, nicely decorated, very clean. I would point out that even though it's listed as accommodating 6, more than 4 would be crowded. But that's the unit, not the company. We were so pleased with their service that when we return to Breckenridge, I will definitely not use any other rental company. read more

We are originally from Colorado and have been to Breckenridge several times. This was the first time renting through Ski Country Resorts, and we will NOT do it again. The Park Meadows condo we booked (in August for December holiday) was deceptively small. It advertised it slept four, but it was so small that when the uncomfortable sofa bed was pulled out, you could hardly open the front door, and we were literally falling over each other trying to maneuver around the space. There was no place to sit and eat with the bed out. Our daughter got sick, and we needed more space for her to be tended to, so we asked for a larger space, an additional room, anything. But NOTHING was available during the holiday time. We left early, with the encouragement that demand was so high that the condo would likely be immediately rented, and we could get a refund if so. But there is no evidence that there was an effort to relist it in the high-demand time, I got no call-backs from inquiries about re-rental, and when I finally got someone, all they could say was I should have taken out trip insurance. The people working the front desk were friendly, but the administration of the business is extremely frustrating and not client-friendly. read more

BEWARE - DO NOT BOOK! I booked this unit with Ski Country in Breckenridge one week in advance. Driving up on day of check in (Aug 18th) we experienced major mechanical issue (death wobble - front end of jeep) that prevented us from continue driving on up, we had to turn back to Denver. I immediately called customer service to cancel and request refund or credit. I was told to speak to the manager on Monday. Once speaking to Joe I was told to call Air BNB. They told me it was up to Joe to decide on refund. He refused refund, even with a major mechanical issue that prevented us from making the trip...they kept $260 of the $300. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Also, you can only cancel or make changes 45 days before you arrive (...) and they will not meet you half way, whatever your reasons for making changes (including medical).
