Needs serious updating. Painted brick interior walls, old decor. Mostly clean but I can't recommend it except to poor college kids.

Loving our stay in Steamboat Springs for spring break 2018! This condo is amazing and perfect for…read moreour family of four. The second bedroom has two twin beds which worked out great for our son & daughter. The beds were very comfy. Master bedroom was great with a king size bed. We stayed in Champagne Lodge 3103. This is a 1st floor unit with a patio. Even though it's on the first floor it's really quiet. Location is great and it's very close to gondola square and not far from the downtown area. The shuttles run regularly and we never waited more than 5 to 10 minutes to get anywhere! Living, dining and kitchen are great for entertaining. We also are enjoying the gas fireplace & scenic Mountain View's. Only negative would be I think for the price, daily maid service should be included (not just trash). Overall though this place is fantastic and I would stay here again and again!

Even in the four bedroom condo each room had their own bathroom and the beds/mattresses were complimented by everyone. All of the units had flat screen TVs and the kitchen were well stocked with all the necessary utensils and gadgets. The refrigerator were generously sized which was appreciated on a multi day ski trip where many were cooking for everyone in the condo. A big bonus was that there are three great outdoor hot tubs and a good sized indoor/outdoor pool. the hot tubs all saw a lot of use by our group and it was nice that they had multiple tubs. we all just wished they stayed open after 10p maybe 11?? To a person, whether is was housekeeping, front desk or the drivers, the staff at Trappeurs was friendly, helpful, and just great! The 'resort' has a free shuttle which will take you anywhere in town and pick you up with a phone call, again we just wished it ran later than 1030 ... should be midnight ...note the drivers do accept tips and they are well deserved!

Ours, Unit 402 in…read moreBearclaw 1, was a 4 bedroom with no place to hang coats, hats or boots. one old sofa and one chair...no room for a coffee table. The master had an old bathroom with a tub/shower in which the floor tape was ripped. The dishwasher was broken the entire two week stay. Notice in the photo the dishwasher blocks the sink. The toaster only toasted one side of the bread. The drawers in the bedrooms and kitchen would fall off their tracks. The master had one nightstand... Bearclaw 1 is old and tired looking. The entryway is beat up, the hall carpeting looks dirty and the ski lockers are minute with little or no shelving for storing of helmets, gloves, poles and skis. On the upside, the staff, who I don't fault...I fault Steamboat Elevated for offering a sub-par product and misrepresenting, is nice and responsive. The shuttle service is terrific. Having said that I would recommend you stay away from STEAMBOAT ELEVATED MANAGEMENT COMPANY. When told about the place, they tried to blame the owner. My response: You are the one who rented this to me, not the owner.

The property manager, Dan, took time away from his personal life to make sure we were booked and confirmed at 10pm the night before our arrival due to the crazy cancellation from another company. He got us situated in a perfect unit that was much nicer than we could have imagined! The staff at Bear Claw was so attentive, helpful, and nice with absolutely everything. Dan and Bear Claw TRULY saved the day, and I will try to stay here every time we come back!

Transportation to/from the mountain was very easy with their frequent shuttle service. Alternatively, one could take a 10-minute walk to gondola square from the lodge. Our apartment came with a flat screen TV, a surround sound system and a cosy fireplace. When visiting the hot tub, be sure to ask the front desk for a bathrobe. Some of the apartments are nicer than others though, as the apartments have different owners. One drawback to the experience was that every air mattress they gave us was broken.

We rented a 3 bdrom (3 bath) condo that was really REALLY nice and the kitchen was stocked with everything that we needed (including a bottle of wine and box of chocolates (Valentine's Day) - even nice wine glasses! We had 4 adults and 3 kids and plenty of space to do our own thing. The pool/Jacuzzi were both perfect temps and connected so the adults can watch the kids. The bed linens were nicer than expected AND the best part was the staff. These folks went above and beyond (blew up an air mattress for our extra kiddo and even returned the red box rental that we accidentally left in the DVD player). Thanks Brian! The shuttle was on time and frequent and the office even has free donuts and coffee/hot chocolate for while you're waiting for the ski shuttle. Seriously, can't say enough good things about the condo and the staff!!!

We arrived around 11am and hoped to get into the condo early but since it was New Year's Day we…read moredidn't get into the condo until after 4pm. The staff at the check in area were not super friendly and not excited to see us (check in location and condo are about 5 minute drive apart). They provided us some generic directions to the condo but they should have stressed about how complicated it was to locate the condo (details were deep in the packet). They said Google maps should be a good method in locating the condo. Ya no, that didn't work. You can't drive up to the front door of the condo at all. You can barely see the condo sign from the road and the Google directions don't help because you end up in a public parking garage. The correct Google directions to the condo parking garage is "One Steamboat Place" garage entrance. You drive into the One Steamboat place garage then enter another garage that looks like an employee service entrance. Signs for the Gondola parking spots are located on the right. The elevator looks like a service elevator that is used by most of the Steamboat employees. Make your way to the 3rd floor and several more steps which are hard to navigate with suitcases (not handicap accessible and typical for a 1978 design). The Condo is in a super convenient location to the slopes. You walk into the condo and the view from the living room is amazing. It looks out to the Gondola and the entire mountain. In the morning and at night we sat in the living room gazing out at the amazing mountain view. The balcony is huge and would have been great if they had a hot tub installed. The condo is very outdated like most ski resorts I think. The book said the condo was built in 1978 and maybe most of it hasn't been touched since. The dishwasher is a joke and I haven't seen one that old in a while. You have to wash the dishes before placing them into the dishwasher. The master bedroom downstairs is huge and has a king bed. Which is ok. The room doesn't have darkening blinds which would have been nice since there is so much light outside. There's a loft with winding stairs which are not easy to climb. Bringing suitcases upstairs was not fun. Two Queen beds in the loft area and two twins in another bedroom. Bathroom upstairs. The Steamboat employee office is near the condo. Overall we enjoyed the location and the size of the condo. I wouldn't consider it a luxury condo and am surprised it hasn't been transformed since its proximity to the slopes. If I owned the condo I would remodel the kitchen and bathrooms. Add a hot tub outside. Replace all the beds. Finally of course get a dishwasher that can clean the dishes. Overall I would stay again because of the view and location to the Gondola. Another Yelp review said they provide passes to the Hot Spring - no this is not the case anymore. Again another question that annoyed the front desk.

One major perk of staying here was the complimentary shuttle service to and from the slopes - just a quick 5-minute ride! Given that weekend parking at the resort is currently $50/day and fills up by opening time, this was a huge convenience. The shuttle drivers were incredibly friendly and we never had to wait long for a ride. Our unit was well-stocked with plenty of towels, soaps, shampoos, dishes, and other essentials that made our stay comfortable. There's nothing worse than running low on supplies during a long trip! The condo was clean & the community itself was great, featuring a pool and spa that were popular even while it was snowing! Another bonus was the location - only a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Steamboat, making it easy to explore the shops and restaurants in the evening while being perfectly situated for skiing during the day. I'd absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Steamboat!

I admittedly made the mistake of saying FU but then he came around the desk at me and told me "we could leave now". I felt threatened and scared! Unacceptable behavior and would he have done that to a man?! So they kick you out at 10am so forget skiing the last day. We paid $4400 for 7 days but 2 were short days. They have a parking garbage for cars under 7 feet. Ski time square has shops and bars and restaurants right smack dab in the middle of everything for your convenience. What you want heated pool , boom they got one with four hot tubs. Gym rat , well they got one of those too. Hate dragging your gear up down the elevator, oh they got you covered. They have lockers for each condo for easy access just use room key. Showers and changing rooms yep they have them too. We had 3 bed 3 bath on 4th floor with great view of the mountain. Right near the elevator for easy access. Each condo has a balcony with some sort of view. Ours was very clean and well kept. Big entry way with lots of hooks and storage for gear and coats and bench to put on shoes or boots. It came with small stacked washer and dryer. Each room had plenty of storage and humidifiers because it's so dry. Which we used. Master bath has nice shower with jetted tub for soaking. Living room was big with a beautiful gas timer fire place that kept the room nice and toasty. Also had nice Vizio flat screen with cable and DVD player. Dining area was also big with huge table and nice bar with stools separating the kitchen and dining. Kitchen fully equipped with all the amenities and fridge with ice and water. This was one if the best condos we've stayed at period. The owners take great pride in keeping clean and maintained. We can't to get back to Steamboat and hopefully get to stayed at one of these condos again. FYI there not for the budget skier or traveler. Convenience comes with a price and these condos are with every penny or in this case every dollar. Also it is a Wyndam Vacation rental property. If you happen to be a member,
