I'm not a fan of this location -- it's inside the Glendale galleria and not the easiest to get into (parking is ALWAYS a pain whether it's an early weekday morning or weekend). Give yourself 15-20 to park if you're new here and to walk to the business. (Maybe even 25 mins if you're a slow walker)) Customer service isn't the best. My review is long over due, I wanted to wait before posting a review to see how the treatments are over time. I've been getting treatments for about 3 months now and I am absolutely OBSESSED. It's quick and easy, 15 minutes in and out, which is great for my schedule. My skin is glowing and whenever I don't go in for a little while, I can definitely tell a difference in my skin texture and I start breaking out. 3 months in, I have less acne, my texture is better and I feel overall tighter and brighter! The girls here are absolutely lovely, every single one of them!! They are always so sweet and make my experience all the more worthwhile. The mall gets busy, but parking is free and there is ALWAYS parking if you're willing to park farther or on the higher floors, so I don't get why people give these girls a hard time. Beware of Hidden Policies at Skin Laundry I signed up for Skin Laundry's subscription expecting transparent service, but was hit with hidden policies. Even after they charged me for services, they refused a service for prepaid session, unless I pay for the next package.Worse, after canceling my subscription, they continued to charge my account! Customer service was unhelpful, refusing refunds or resolutions. This feels like a money grab with no respect for customer commitment. The Service: My consultant, Hazel, is awesome! She is super knowledgeable about all their treatments. She explains in detail of the treatments and ask about my skin issues so that the nurse can do the treatment properly. Aileen was the nurse who was doing the laser treatment for me. She is very professional and give me explanation of each step of the treatment. At the end of the treatment, they both recommend their products and treatment plans. They give you the options and they are definitely not pushy at all. Also, they will tell you how to take care your skin in the next 24 hours. Very informative. I have to say with the multiple questionable reviews on Yelp, I was hesitant to sign up for a membership at Skin Laundry. I did have a few hiccups in the beginning. My second appointment had to be cancelled due to the fact that I scheduled it 6 days after my last. Note: Each appointment must be at least 7 days after the previous. The manager made it right and was very accommodating and kind given the miscommunication. The main reason I'm writing this review is because I travel about an hour to get here and I was running late today. I called in a bit of a panic because I didn't want to miss my 12:30 appointment and I was already almost here. I was able to get my appointment moved to later on in the evening with no issue or charges! Additionally I got a call shortly after saying they had a 1:15 cancellation and if I wanted to come at that time. How thoughtful! I have to say it seems management and staff is doing very well. Everyone has been kind and really listens to the needs of the clients. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! They'll scam you of it. Came here due to their instagram ad - just to try something new. I've been there 3 times now. Staff and technician have been very friendly. I want to touch on the first time I was there- I was told there was a deal going on for $175/month for 2 months and that price included 3 laser facials a month. After the 2 months I would get charged their regular price a month. But what a great deal! so I signed up. The second month charge comes along and I get charged $350! I was not expecting this amount so I tried to get a hold of someone- I emailed, texted and called. My calls never went through, but they did text me. For each response they would take about 30min+ each time. Their customer service really declined for me when I actually needed someone to talk to. Maybe it was an off day or phone didn't work? I don't know! In the few messages I exchanged with them, they told me that the $175/month was only for the first month and to "lock in" for 2 months. I'm like "huh?" I was never told about this lock in feature when I got the membership. Lock in apparently means that you need to get charged twice BEFORE you make any changes. I was also told all this is in the contract I signed- which they never emailed me. This place is really misleading. And sure these things are in the contract I signed, but they also told, verbally, me the $175/month was the price I would get charged for the first and second month- they are so misleading. This actually has not been resolved for me, yet. I keep texting them to call me, but I'm still waiting. At this point I am ready to cancel my membership and try someone place new. NOTE: This place ask to tip your nurse??!! such a new concept and so weird to ask for tip when the service cost so much already. MAKE SURE TO READ YOUR CONTRACT TO CONFIRM ANYTHING THEY'VE MENTIONED TO YOU. If you do decide to cancel, make sure you cancel 7 DAYS before your monthly charge! read more

They will always going to treat you like family from the moment you enter their facility (front desk people are soo sweet and super friendly doesn't matter who really) until you leave. these kind of people keeps me going back to them. I was 5 minutes late to my appointment. 12:45 appointment and arrived at 12:50. The receptionist, Sarah, said it takes 15 minutes to do the paperwork and my laser time was 1pm. I assured her I completed all paperwork before arrival. She let me know there is more, but she can reschedule me for 1:30. She said, we can possibly take you in early. A lady who completed her paperwork after me for her 1:15 laser time asked if she could be seen early. She was then called in at 1:01, so basically took my time slot and was done at 1:16, so she was done with her appointment at her appointment time. My paperwork was done before 1pm, which was the allotted time slot for that portion of the appointment. I was then called in at 1:19, basically taking the girl that completed her paperwork after me because she was early and punishing me because I was 5 minutes late. However, Lisa who did my facial was amazing. Friendly and knowledgeable, but I won't be returning because Sarah lacks professionalism and her rudeness was intolerable. I love my visits at Skin Laundry so much because the staff is super friendly and they make you feel very comfortable and treat you like a best friend. I love these facials, and I used to just do a "pay as I go" thing, but I was pressured by the counter sales associate to sign up for a membership and wow, it is a money grab. So disappointed in the policies that were recently put in place after I had signed up for the membership. Essentially if you want to cancel your membership, all of the money you have on your account just goes straight to the company and does not roll over for your future use and you have to use all of your "credits" before you cancel, so stacking treatments within about 3 weeks. I just wanted to go less frequently because I moved further out of town and there is no option to do that. Very sad to have to leave this place because I love the treatments, but the business practices have ruined it for me. Word to the wise: do not sign up for a membership. Okay. So I came here for the free laser facial as a recommendation from my roomie. This was a very interesting experience. Glendale galleria is awesome obviously bc parking is usually ample. So I came in and didn't know what to expect bc I've never done laser before. I came in, checked in on the iPad, and they took pics of my face to get approved by the physician. They take good care of you and make sure you read your paperwork. I was def called out for skimming through paperwork but also none of the epilepsy or warnings really applied to me. This process is by no means relaxing. They do about four passes on your face which means they laser your face 4 times. It def hurts and stings. It feels like tiny needles kinda burning your face. It's not that bad. It's really only bad if you think it's bad but the more you relax, the better it feels. Post two days from this laser facial, my cheeks are flush and acne that was underneath the surface of my skin has now surfaced. My skin looks absolutely radiant and firm. However it does kinda look like my face is a little swollen but it's not noticeable to anyone but me. It actually gives me a more plump and youthful look I feel. After the laser facial they give you a toner and serum or a sunscreen if you're doing it during the day. I did mine at night so no sunscreen was required. Appointment was easy. I got an appointment the same day I signed up. This was a really awesome experience and I highly recommend you look into this to see if a laser facial is right for you!
