After they take photos of your scalp and do a light neck and shoulder massage you head back to the treatment room for a real treat; dim lights, cozy massage chair, excellent ambiance. You also get a warm blanket and eye mask. They wash your hair and massage your head. I might have dozed off for a few minutes as I am having trouble remembering what else happened during this time! After the treatment you go back to your chair for warm tea & ginger and they take more photos of your new & improved scalp and dry your hair! Would highly recommend and definitely go back!

That was professional on their part and I appreciate them for reaching out. Emily was very nice and proficient. The reason I gave the experience 3 stars is that I didn't think the 60 minutes spent there was worth the $150 (cost + tip). When I walked into the "spa," it sounded more like a rockin' bachelorette party vs. a serene environment I experienced in other spa settings (the 20 - 25 minutes spent getting my hair washed did take place in a serene room). Because I love scalp massages (and erroneously thought that would be the majority of my appointment), I paid for an additional 10-minute scalp massage to make it even better. To my dissapointment, most of the time I spent there was for taking pics of my scalp and talking about my scalp, having a fountain spray my hair with water while laying in a very strong massage chair (I started off telling her I would like it strong until I realized that the massage bed felt like hard golf balls sliding up and down my body) and ended up asking her to turn it off. The spraying felt good, and there was scalp massage while she shampooed my hair, but other than that, she used a type of brush to massage my head for much of the time spent in the serene room, which, to me, is not nearly as good. This was followed by about 10 minutes of hair-drying. The hot tea waiting for me was a nice touch. The massage, in total, lasted approximately 10 minutes (shampooing and massage). I think that if your expectations are more social, this will not disappoint. However, I was expecting a full pampered approach since this is similar in cost to what I pay for a 90-minute full-body massage.

I was the first appointment of the day and no one else was in the spa. Upon entering the AI massage room, everything look clean and orderly. The AI machine had remembered my music taste however, all my settings that were mentioned that would be saved were not and I had to re-Adjust them before starting (but that took only a minute and not a big deal at all) . The massage was good. I was hoping by the second time I would feel less lightheaded, but laying face down for a full 60 minutes is a bit too long for me, (I think 45 minutes might be better). The massage itself was great though and relaxing. After my massage, I headed up to the pool area (you are able to use the pool if you place a service over 45 mins long) and found a lounge chair around 11 AM. I ordered lunch from my lounge chair 11:30 getting their tacos, they were wonderful. I asked for them to be grilled not fried and they happily obliged. Great service both at the spa and pool area. The pool has a beautiful ocean view. It was a little on the busy side only because it was spring break, but I was still able to have an open lounge chair and there was space to hang out in the hot tub and the pool area with without it being too crowded. The restaurant right off the pool is absolutely adorable. Cute little themed areas are so tastefully done for small groups. The Seabird hotel is gorgeous!! I love the nautical feel throughout. It is very nicely decorated. After spending about two hours in the pool area, I headed back down to Sunny's Spa and enjoyed the amenities that were provided there. They have a beautiful large sauna, cold mist area, waiting area with a gorgeous ocean view and light snacks & beverages. I give the experience a 10 out of 10.

Sherry was my aesthetician and her skin treatment was perfect along with her neck and shoulder massage. So I decided to check this place out. I had the opportunity to have Kat as my massage therapist. She did say before the massage I am here to help with your pain and not hurting you. All of the women we had in the past weren't there anymore so we tried new massage therapists and we left disappointed. BUT we shared our thoughts with their team and for Mother's Day we went back and the therapists were so nice and made sure we left feeling amazing. Good lesson to give a biz a second chance.
