First time back here (after 14 years of living in the US), I brought a pair of Marsell boots that needed a little touch up and a fix to get rid of a buckle sound. The cobbler fixed both and wouldn't even charge me for it (hmm, cool, I'll be back). Next time, I needed red soles and a good stretch job on two brand-new pairs of Louboutins. After a job very very well done and many laughs in the store with the warmest people, I felt much obliged to write this review!

I went here to have a new red sole put on the bottom of my louboutins, also to have two other pairs…read moreof shoes cleaned. I didn't realize I needed the ticket to collect my shoes (just wasn't thinking about it and the guy who gave it to me didn't mention to bring it back with me to collect shoes) so when I came back to collect them they wouldn't give me the shoes. I had gone there from all the way across town and then when I asked them if they could call me a cab (I am from out of the country and didn't have a phone) the guy said "we don't call cabs for people". Rude! I missed my later plans because of this. Luckily when I got back to my hotel I was able to find my ticket so I got my shoes the next day. The louboutins had three irreparable scratches and the other two pairs of shoes were just ok, not exactly what I would expect from a place that works with high end shoes. Now I understand why the girl at the Louboutin store down the street said she wouldn't recommend them. She said there is another place that does a much better job, but I was walking and in a hurry so I asked for the closest place...guess that's what I get for convenience.
