    I tried to send my earnest money check overnight FedEx to Barbara Lewis United Country American…read moreRealty, Barbra affirmed she would be there to receive it, yet the FedEx driver's records show that she was not at the office. I spoke with Fedex supervisor for Doniphan area and was informed that the Fedex driver was a 12 year expert driver, and knows exactly where United Country American Realty is. This driver remembers the attempt to deliver my earnest money check to this Company, and the business was CLOSED!! Anyone interested in verifying that, I will get you in touch with Fedex supervision. If I would have relied on Barbra, then I would have run out of time and my purchase agreement would have expired. Barbara had already told me that I would essentially lose my spot to purchase the property!! Barbra tried to explain that away by saying that she had talked to me first and found out that I had already given the earnest money to the Real Estate Attorney then she left the office early before the FedEx driver got there. That just doesn't add up, my phone records show that when I called Barbra to tell her about my submitting the earnest money by credit card to the Real estate Attorney, by that time FedEx records show time and date stamp that FedEx driver had already tried to deliver my overnight envelope to Barbara's office and no one was there!! Thankfully I was able to contact and send my earnest money directly to the real estate Attorney who was handling that part of the closing. I thank God that I was then able to move forward and close on the property!! Barbara emphasized that she had other offers on the property! It appeared to me that she was intentionally going to oust me by not being available for FedEx to deliver my envelope with my earnest money check.. Sometimes people fall into prejudicial shenanigans which results in transgression of God's law's. We hope they will have a change of heart and repent before it's too late.. Another lie is what Mendy the owner said about the signs on my truck were not mine, and that I had stolen them. Well that's just not so, I will prove to anyone at any time that I have the receipts when the signs were made brand new for my truck. Also the phone number on my truck signs have the phone number of the Church that I'm an Evangelist for, and no one has ever called that number and asked about those signs?? I also talked with one of the leaders of the Doniphan Church of Christ, he asured me that no one had called their Church about any signs. The gall and audacity of Mendy and her associates to use a feminist slurr assertion charge against me that was made up, is only trying to muddy the waters over the biblical debate that they envoked, and then curtailing their diligence, with not being able to back it up. The attitude and tone of speech in our dispute was basically the same back and forth between us, even though Barbra at times was very sharp with some of her discourses addressed at me. I was told by Mendy to stop scrutinizing over religious issues, she never told me to just "get out of their office".. That's clearly obvious, because I continued and carried on with my part in the current business contract that I was engaged in with them. There was not a sudden stoppage in our Real estate deal as Mendy advocates there was! The Lord commands that logical arguments are set forth for an examination and rebuttals from scriptures, in order to locate and prove truth! 1 Thess 5:21... In Isaiah chapter one God say's : "Come now let us reason together "... Unfortunately Mendy is lacking in much biblical knowledge on this topic. So she being defenceless, resorted to name calling and unjustly trying to smear my exemplified Christian conduct, rather than , what saith the scriptures..

    First let me start by saying that the Realtor that we dealt with and the majority of the…read moreMaintenance crew were very professional, friendly, and helpful but that is where it ends. We moved into one of their higher end rental properties in the Northland. The house was not our first choice but we had limited options at the time and we needed to snag a place fast. When we conducted a walkthrough I smelled a hint of dog or cat urine in the basement, I told the realtor who assured us that the carpets would be cleaned again. After moving in the smell of urine only worsened not only in the basement but upstairs as well in every room. We contacted Results and they did send a carpet cleaner over a few times which did nothing as the smell was just too intense to the point where it could of been a biohazard. One of the carpet cleaning crew told us that he had originally cleaned the carpets a month before we moved in and said that the carpets had smelled horrible and was surprised they hadn't been replaced. About 6 weeks later the carpet company finally lifted a section of carpet and discovered that carpets had been saturated in urine! Another two weeks and Results had the carpet company replace the carpets, which involved moving all of our furniture, it was not fun. If Results would have replaced the carpets in the first place and had not tried to cover up the smell this never would have happened. As everyone knows it storms quite often in Kansas City and during the first few storms we noticed two trees in the backyard that looked dead and in danger of falling. We called and e-mailed Results a plethora of times to see what they could do about the trees. Our neighbor even told us that they had been concerned about the trees and that the tenants before us had reported the trees to Results. After a few months Results sent a tree crew over to trim the large dead tree and removed the smaller tree. The large tree still remained a safety hazard and even one of the tree crew said it was mainly hollow and he was surprised it hadn't fallen yet. I reported it a few more times to Results and during a large storm in the middle of the night I heard a large noise on the roof, I got up and on the deck was a large tree branch. The large branch had broken off, landed on the roof, rolled off and hit the deck breaking apart the left railing of the deck. I reported it the next morning to Results as the deck was damaged and unusable until it could be fixed. The deck was already overdue for a power wash, sanding, and staining and now it was a complete mess. An insurance agent showed up a few days later to assess the deck and he said that Results would receive more than enough insurance money to replace the damaged side of the deck to include the unsafe railings. The deck sat untouched with a large branch on it for over a month, I contacted Results several times with no luck. Even after the branch was removed it took several weeks before someone showed up to repair the deck. The deck crew showed up and worked on the deck for most of the day and when I got home and looked at the deck I was shocked to see that he had used BROKEN PIECES of the deck to repair the deck! I called Results and they told me that the insurance company had paid them a minimum amount to repair the deck - totally opposite of what the insurance agent had told us. A few months later Results sent over a deck guy to look at the deck, he told us the deck was in need of some major repairs but that Results had told him to make due with what he had. The deck guy ended up putting a few brackets to secure the weak railings and stained the deck. The front lawn was a disaster when we moved-in, it was weeds on weeds! Results said they would send over a landscaper to reseed the front lawn but that never happened so I ended up tearing all of the weeds in the front yard which left just dirt and I put seed down. A few days later Results sent one of their crew over (not a landscaper) and he just threw seed on the area I weeded and other parts of the yard. We discovered there was a sprinkler system installed that Results had never mentioned to us. Results told us to go ahead and turn it on but seeing that it hadn't been used in years according to the neighbor I called Results and asked for a landscaper to inspect it. Results said a landscaper would be over to test it but they never showed up so after two years of renting the house we never used the sprinkler system. There were other times we called Results for other issues and had no response, it was very frustrating as we were paying a lot to rent the house. I blame the Management for the poor service as they only staff a small maintenance crew for thousands of properties that they supposedly manage! Before we moved out of the house they did hire a new maintenance lead and he seemed very organized and efficient so hopefully things have improved. Do not recommend.

    I went to Astro Realty on 1/29 after ordering some moving boxes online through UHaul. I arrived…read morethere at about 4:30, but the place was closed. The sign on the door had the hours listed as 9-1, M-F. What business is open from only 9-1? Anyway, I made arrangements with my boss to leave work today to go pick up my boxes. When I arrived there, I was "greeted" by a surly man at the front desk. When I told him that I was there to pick up a box order, he said that wasn't possible. I retrieved my phone to give him the order number that had been emailed to me as a confirmation. He then proceeded to tell me that he would not honor the pricing quoted on the website because he "can't lose money" on boxes. He has to buy them, after all. He continued to argue with me and tell me that they aren't a "center"... as if I'd know what that means. When I asked why UHaul would quote the pricing and inventory as available in his store, he said that he doesn't control UHaul's website or the information provided on it. He did not attempt to assist me in any way. Another man walked up and told him to look up my order, but they could not find it. Finally, frustrated, I left and called customer service at UHaul. Of course, every UHaul is independently owned, and so UHaul, as the parent company, really has no recourse or ability to make things right. I insisted that they cancel my entire order and send me a confirmation. I'm so angry, I could spit. I still have no boxes and am moving this weekend. Now, while this experience has nothing to do with the realty skills of this office, I can't imagine why anyone would ever want to deal with this surly, unhappy, horrible old man. Perhaps the other guy is more pleasant... he seemed somewhat willing to help... but the guy sitting at the front desk needs a serious course in Service Excellence and a major attitude adjustment. Awful. STAY AWAY!!

    Ive been really patience and nice despite how I've been treated…read more Ive been living in their properties for around 4 months now. The first property I moved in didnt work because of the owner rules; one day i woke up to a man tiptoeing out of my kitchen. Me and my daughter was asleep on the couch. I immediately jumped and reached for my gun. In order to walk to the kitchen, he had to walk past me and my sleeping baby which didnt sit right with me. When I called Ellie's regarding this issue, some seemed apologetic & understood how badly that could have gotten while others stated it was out of their control because he was hired by the owner, which didn't sit right with me so management allowed me to transfer units. My current unit, Ive been in for around 3 months. Still managed my Ellie's. Since day 1 of move in there has been clear signs of mice & ant infestation. Ive made them aware of this day 1, sending them pictures/ videos. There are so many entryways due to amount of holes. The main one is the kitchen cabinet which also contains a ton of mold that has yet been addressed(also made them aware day 1) the cabinet has a HUGE chunk missing and it connects to the outside which is how they're getting in. Mind you, they moved me in knowing this. While inspecting the massive hole underneath the cabinet, I noticed blue bait which is more confirmation that they were aware of the infestation prior to me moving in. I found my 8 pound dog in the bathroom, eating that same blue bait. I looked under the bathroom cabinet and seen they laid some out there too. Again, confirmation that they KNEW. my final 2 strikes was seeing a mice run from my baby closet(on the SECOND FLOOR) that same day her face and eyes were so swole due to her being allergic. Then, at 7am while bathing my daughter, I seen a baby mice running from underneath my bed. Confirming the problem has now grew due to them not taking this issue seriously or making tenants aware of infestation BEFORE move in. I still have yet received a response from the property manager. The office answer every now & then but they are helpless because they have to go through management to get things done. The first week of me living here, they sent a pest guy that said he couldn't treat for the mice because it isnt his job to patch holes; he stated they will only keep coming back until they're patched by maintenance and only left 3 ant traps on the counter for me to sit out on my own. After weeks and weeks of calling about the mice again, they are wanting to send the same pest guy out who did nothing the first time. I spent the last few weeks preparing because now I am able to withhold rent: I have documented all communication on my end, all of the mice poof, ants, mold, doctor appointments, therapy documents, communication with previous tenants, etc. It's a violation to move someone into infestation especially while being aware! my 2 year old is allergic and still no empathy has been shown. No discount. No proper treatments. Rent is 1900 I decided to go up in rent to avoid things like this. it's only me & my daughter on the lease. Not me, my daughter, and a family of mice & ants . Something needs to be done! Every neighbor I have talked to, has them too which could be why Ive been ignored and treated like a nuisance. I'm not understanding why not take this serious considering there is so many airbnbs over here, my next step will be letting the guest know the area they're paying to be in is infested.
