Amanda was Amazing- food was great, drink recommendations were on point, and fast! Definitely worth eating here! Also, the views are amazing.

Sky Waikiki was amazing and their server. Amanda treated us amazing. The oysters were from the Pacific Northwest just like we are. We will definitely be coming back for the amazing drinks we part took in. Thank you so much for the great experience. The seating was spot on as we got to look at an amazing view of Waikiki.

Food, great. Ambiance, chill. View, beautiful. Didn't come for a full dinner, but instead enjoy pupu plates with my girls. The Mac cheese and chicken wings were so tasty. They honestly had the best brussel sprouts I have ever had. The crisp * chefs kiss. But what really made this experience was our host TAI. Literally from the moment we walked into the restaurant/bar, until we left.. she took such good care of my group. She made my bachelorette dinner so so special and I'm forever grateful! She's the reason for the 5 star! Cannot forget about Alexis also - she was super accommodating and just as sweet!!

**This is a review for the experience, it is not for the food. My friend wanted to go to SKY for her birthday, so I made a reservation for sunset. After reading the reviews, I opted for drinks and apps, and booked dinner elsewhere. Our table had a nice view, though to take a photo with the sunset, there is only a small corner where this can be done. Our service was good, and the drinks came out quickly. We shared the charcuterie board, which was fine, but just okay for the price. We came on a beautiful evening and it was lovely to sit on the rooftop with good friends and drinks, enjoying the view. I think the experience was great based on our planning and expectations.

VIEWS - and a great sunset is what's up at Sky Waikīkī! We came here for oysters and champagne and it was a beautiful day . Special shout out to Damian for always being so welcoming and inviting! Highly recommend asking for his section whenever you are here . Great vibes always !! Will be back !!

The perfect spot for a reasonably priced happy hour cocktail and fries! Great ube drink and mai tai, amazing ambiance and view! If you want a quality and aesthetic place to go, this is it!!

We went for happy hour and the food was solid - good prices. The appetizers were great and there were many options. The appeal of the location was primarily the view and ambiance. Service was solid and we got great seats to see most of Waikiki. Enjoyed our time here.

Celebrated a friend's birthday here at Sky. It's a rooftop spot with stunning panoramic views. There were a lot of groups there, so it's a great place for birthdays, reunions, or any kind of gathering. The staff were attentive and made sure we were taken care of throughout the night. The food portions varied depending on the dish, but overall it was a fun, lively place to celebrate with friends while enjoying the beautiful Waikiki skyline.

The coconut girl was way too sweet! I like sweet but this was cloying. I couldn't even taste the alcohol unfortunately. The prosciutto was good but we were expecting local fruits, this didn't hit the mark. Finally, we had a reservation and weren't even seated with a view. The food was meh. I recommend skipping this place if you're visiting.

OVERALL: food was disappointing as were the views FOOD: overcooked short ribs with sauce that tastes like ketchup, bad octopus that was overcooked and had random pieces of spam and a black sauce that added no value. Small portions but enough for two to share. Mocktails were great. SERVICE: hostesses were great--super friendly and helpful. I had an interaction with a waitress waiting on a table next to mine who was so rude. She was a young blonde with a high braided ponytail. Our actual waitress was friendly and professional though. VENUE: very small. You only get a decent view if you're sitting in the area in front of the bar and even then all you get is a view of buildings. Everyone else sits along the glass wall with views of the parking lot. Pretty sure all the review about the views are fake having now been there. It is also hard to find the place but it's next to the H&M

If you are in Honolulu, this is the one place you need to check out! Food was great. We didn't take a pic of our wing dings but it was delicious. The ladies who served us was great! If you go to the women's restroom, make sure you Venmo or to tip the Nana so gives you an assortment of bathroom goodies! Fun place to just chill, celebrate a birthday or just have fun here in the 808!

One of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time, thanks to Amanda. She was attentive, genuine, and made everything feel effortless. Her service elevated the whole night--we even ordered extra rounds just because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Amanda is a standout. Highly recommend.

We arrived early for our reservations but were sat promptly. We were greeted by Damian and he was an amazing server. He brought out some water and allowed us sometime to go over the menu. He was very welcoming and friendly! I loved the vibe up there. The skyline was lit by the surrounding buildings, the music was relaxing and beautiful, and the breeze was refreshing. Shout out to the musician there. His voice was so smooth and velvety and his guitar playing was amazing. I loved every second. I ordered a strawberry mojito and tried the espresso martini. I enjoyed the mojito. It was refreshing. The espresso was a bit strong on the espresso side but still enjoyed. I'd definitely come back.

What music genres is played there?

Does this turn into a club after restaurant hours?

Yes, with free entry if you had dinner there

Is there a cover charge and dress code (can shorts be worn) for the club?

There is a cover charge of about $20 dollars and the dress code is formal so no shorts.

Hi, Need reservation for Saturday night? Tks.

100% get a reservation! We were seated very quickly but it was very busy!

    Can kids dine?

I feel like when I was there there were some quiet, well behaved well dressed children there with their posh looking parents...I'd say best behavior is probably the standard because most people don't want to hear kids screaming or running around at…

    Is this the revolving restaurant?

Top of Waikiki was the revolving restaurant, located above Sky Waikiki. They have been closed since the pandemic.

Do we need to have reservation? Or is it first come first serve?

I highly recommend reservations but they have some seating for walk-in's

    Are Kids allowed?

I have been there twice with young children (4-6 year olds). It wasn't a problem at all but perhaps because they were happily sitting and not loud.

    Is there a Dress code?

I believe there isn't. My hubby wore his slippers shorts and button up short sleep

    Where is the parking?

You have to park in the garage about two blocks away. Look up parking garages on your maps.

Do we need to make reservations if we are only there to order drinks at the bar?

Yes the bar seating is really limited (like 6 seats) so I'd recommend a reservation.

    Is there Happy Hour?

    Yes!

Do we have to make a reservation?

No but it's wise too. If you don't, I would show up early and there may be a wait.

    Is there parking validation?

Yes but I believe you need to spend $50 or more.

How do you make a reservation? No one ever answers the phone :(

Go online to Open Table or use the app.

    Is there a dress code?

There is a sign that says no beach wear.

So you take walk ins? If we came at around 5:30 on a Friday night would we be able to get sat by 7 or so? Or is it like impossible to get sat w/o a reservation?? PS i am…

Good luck on a walk in. Making a reservation gets you sat in the seat with a view.

Do they have a better number to call? No one answers the number posted and when it goes to voicemail, it refers to another number...

Nope. They just don't answer. You have to go in.

Is there an age limit during early hours?

No age limit. I saw young children with their parents eating. All good.

Can you just order drinks? Or do you have to order food as well?

Now you can. Before you had to order food with the COVID-19 city mandated restrictions.

Even the uncle that's in the parking lot goes out of his way to make sure your cars are well looked after so you don't have to worry. The food experience was 10 out of 10 for us. We started off with the smoked grilled octopus. It was so tender. You could cut it with a fork. It had a very nice smoky flavor with a bit of char and a little bit of crunch. It was a perfect bite. Impaired with the chili pepper water took it over the top. We also ordered the fried brussels sprouts with the drizzle of honey, the broccolini and the truffle mashed potatoes. All of these dishes were seasoned to perfection. Even the truffle mash, with just a subtle flavor of the delicate mushroom, not overpowering at all. Everything was so well balanced. When our entries arrived, which was the Nakamura prime rib and the pork chop both were really good! I ordered the charred Caesar salad and duck fat fries. The charred salad was odd, I think I was expecting a light smoke but I guess they were true to the title because it was charred. My prime rib was the standard medium rare but it took some cutting because there was so much connective tissue that had not melted, the fat hadn't melted either. It was just bad. I asked the server about the prime rib and she said it's supposed to have a lot of fat because of the cut. Absolutely true, but it's supposed to melt not be huge chunks. It also needed the horseradish, it had no flavor otherwise. The server was nice and took half off the prime rib. The fries tasted like a standard fry I've had before, nothing special. I tried the lobster pasta my friend had and it was delicious, everyone who ordered pasta at the table was satisfied which is great but this is a steak restaurant. The server was really nice. I wouldn't come back even if someone else was paying. But my dog appreciated the prime rib I brought home, so I guess that's a win?

We doused it with the sauce on the table and topped it with garlic chips which made it taste somewhat better. Also, $15 for a side order of 6 - 8 pieces of garlic shrimp. They're first-come, first-served now, even if you note it on the reservation, so I'd recommend booking earlier in the evening if that's what you're hoping for (they sold out around 7 PM when we went). That said, our server Kula was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, he truly made the experience even better. He shared that their steaks are cut in-house, and we appreciated learning how they trim off excess fat so customers get more of the actual meat they're paying for. It's thoughtful details like that that made us feel really taken care of. He also helped us choose some incredible alternatives, and his recommendation of the Wagyu picanha absolutely stole the show. It was so tender, flavorful, and definitely my new favorite. At 14 oz, it was also a great portion for my boyfriend and me to share with a few sides. We'll definitely be coming back for that one. We also ordered the dry-aged cowboy ribeye. You could really taste the depth of flavor and aged character, and I'm glad I tried it, but next time I'd still choose the Wagyu picanha (rare because it cooks from the residual heat) For sides, the truffle fries were tasty, though next time I'd probably go with the garlic fries since the truffle flavor was subtle. And if you like pork belly, don't skip the bacon steak because it was juicy, delicious, and something my best friend said they would absolutely order again. Overall, we had a great evening, and huge shoutout again to Kula for making the whole experience so memorable!

The ribeye was also disappointing, as it seemed to have little to no seasoning and lacked the rich flavor you would expect from a quality steakhouse. Overall, the steaks did not justify the price, and we left feeling let down. I hope the restaurant improves the steak quality and seasoning because the expectations for a place specializing in steak are much higher.

I don't remember the last time I went to a steak restaurant other than my birthday, so it's very rare to go to a restaurant and order steak. So this was a large treat to me. The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere with the lighting dim and the music very soft. This restaurant was very busy luckily we just wanted a seating for two even though they asked if we had a reservation and we didn't so we got lucky.

This visit we came for a late Father's Day celebration. Of course we all ordered steak since this is a steakhouse! We made reservations and we're probably seated at 5 PM. Since we were here early, restaurant was not very crowded at that time, but did fill up pretty good while we were there. One thing that I don't like about Little Joe's steakhouse is that they have the music playing very loudly that it makes it difficult to have conversations over dinner and even give your order to your server. We ordered the filet mignon, ribeye steak, chicken tenders and had sides of potatoes au gratin, sautéed mushrooms, grilled asparagus, fried rice with steak, and garlic fries. The food is consistently good, but I was disappointed in my steak as I ordered the ribeye to be cooked medium, but the steak I received was well done. It was still tasty, but definitely overcooked. My dad ordered the filet mignon medium but it came back rare. This surprised me, because in the past, they've cooked their steaks consistently to order, but cooking a good steak to well done is a definite, no no. Our server, however, was excellent, prompt and very polite. Ambience 3 stars Food 3.5 stars Service 4 stars

Both indoor and outdoors seating available. We had chose outdoor seating; but we were not seated next to other guests. Service is top notch, very kind and attentive. Checks in but doesn't hover, no pressure to order more. Had lovely suggestions. It is definitely pricier than other restaurants. We had tried the Prime NY Steak and King Salmon which turned out to be very delicious and fulfilling. Although Stripsteak is pricier, it does live up to it's hype; perfect for dining or celebrating all occasions. Amazing service, delicious entrees, very memorable experience. Would definitely return in the future.

Food and servers made up for it. Best lamb chops I have had ever. Loved the Brussel sprouts . The salmon was pretty perfect as well, First time I have had wyagu but wasn't impressed since it was so fatty! Food presentation and timing were beautiful. Definitely a place I look forward to returning to.

He apologized and ran off and then brought my friend's mai tai. Dinner was very good. The Cesar salad with bacon was excellent, crispy baby romaine . My husband and I shared the 4 fish tasting. Was very good. We preordered the pineapple upside down cake. The presentation was not as good as the Roy's Eating House at the International Market place. This one looked like it 'fell' . Coffee: we all ordered decaf coffee and it was Luke warm. Waiter apologized and brought 3 more cups, it still was not hot enough. We offered to have regular, thinking that maybe that would be hotter. Waiter said that there must be something wrong with the machine, because the coffee he brought was just out of the machine. Still not hot. We will probably go back because the food is good. Hope they fix the coffee machine.

I have GERD, so the tuna was fresh and well cooked, with none of the spice it normally comes with. A bit pricey, but solid find for the Waikiki area!

During this pop-up, trial period, 3-courses are $128, tax and tip included. There is also a separate drink menu with a couple of wines, beers, and cocktails. The first course was a local take on a Salad Lyonnaise featuring Waipoli greens tossed table side with house made papaya seed dressing and offered toppings of diced egg, bacon, and house made croutons. Salty, tangy, and a nice fresh start to the meal. Next came the star of the show. The 3-day herb cured, prime grade, prime rib was a perfect medium rare and carved table side. Each plate came with potato puree, creamed spinach, hurricane corn, and a shokupan bun. The prime rib was very tender as expected, and offered with creamy mild horseradish and au jus. The potatoes were food mill smooth and buttery. The spinach tasted "healthy" with just a touch of cream. The hurricane corn was a stroke of genius. Furikake works on popcorn, so it works on cream corn. The shokupan has a nice soft chew, just next time I might sneak my own butter in. And for those who can eat a little more, you might be offered a bonus slice. Dessert is a play on an Old Fashioned, with Asato Family frozen custard, orange whipped cream, toffee crunch, an old fashioned caramel, and a cherry. Like all Asato desserts, the flavors come through strong and true. I loved the addition of the toffee crunch for the texture and the boozy, burnt caramel which cut the dessert's sweetness. Only 16 diners per seating; check their website to secure your reservation. Tables are farm tables, so get comfortable with your table mates, and give The Prime Rib Club some love.

Boy oh boy was this place awesome…read more My wife and I went here for one of our honeymoon dinners and we went kind of wild with the menu. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomach but we were determined to try a little of everything we wanted. I loved that the employees made it feel so special and wrote us congratulation cards for our wedding we had the night before and it was our 7 year anniversary and they set it up on our table before we got there. Starting off with the oysters and Crab legs for starters, definitely awesome taste. Our waiter Darren was so awesome and nice enough to de shell the legs for us and brought it out nice and hot. By the time we finished the legs and oysters we were half way full. The legs are a whole pound had tons of meat. Then we were served the main dishes, my wife got some sort of fish with a miso type of broth and vegetables which was not only filled with flavor but really nice and soft. I got the wagyu ribeye for myself and it didn't disappoint. It didn't help that I was already half way full when I got it but it was sooo good. It went so well with the sautéed brussel sprouts and baked potatoes we got on the side. By this time we couldn't even finish our food but we still had dessert coming. I forgot what it was but you can see for yourself in the picture. It was like a warm, soft chocolate cake with chocolate fudge in the middle with some vanilla ice cream to cool it down and when you bite into it, it just explodes with flavor. So so good. Lastly, Darren our waiter was so attentive and was very detailed with his description of the foods themselves and just went above and beyond with serving us. His gestures were hugely appreciated by both of us and I would definitely recommend him to anyone going to eat at this place. Keep in mind this place is quite high end, so you will be spending some good money but if you appreciate great service and food, it will be well worth it. Thank you to all the staff for making our honeymoon dinner an awesome one to remember.
