I celebrated a friend's son's birthday party, and my son had such a great time. At first, my son was sad that there wasn't a ball pit as he saw in a photo on a Sky Zone flyer, but after walking around the space, he had such a great time. He wanted to keep jumping. I love how they shout out the birthday celebrators over the microphone, and everyone cheers, Lol. The employees also provided excellent service and were very attentive. If you throw a birthday party, depending on the package, one of the party favors included is to return for free, so we're excited to go back. read more

Soar high at Defy! I had the most fun night with my friends here, we were so impressed and wished we could've stayed even a little longer than our reservation. Most any kid will go crazy to jump on a trampoline, let alone visit a whole park of them. I always thought they were so fun, especially when there were the basketball hoops, foam pits and dodgeball games. As an adult, that didn't really go away. Defy was so much better than any trampoline park I've been to, however! It was actually quite clean when I went, and SO much to do! There are free tramps, climbing walls, swings down into foam pits, a sparring bridge, basketball hoops, a balance beam, obstacle courses and even a room where you can literally jump off the walls. We spent the good part of an hour just trying to get around to everything, which was an absolute blast. The prices to get in were pretty reasonable, and with all of the activities offered I felt it was money well spent. There are also benches and seating all around the park for any parents/ guardians wanting to keep an eye on their kid but not participate. Terrible. Waited for 30+ minutes in line, with only two people ahead of us. One person running the counter while the other employees stood off to the side recording themselves making Tik Tok videos. When we finally got to the counter, the guy then told us we needed to go to the other counter to sign the waiver, then go to the back of the line. Took an additional 15-20 minutes. Seemed like something they could mention to us while we were already waiting in line. Almost 1 hour just to get through the line with only two families ahead of us. Bathroom was absolutely awful. Literally puddles of urine on the floor. Half of the areas were closed off for the majority if not the entirety of our time there because the staff members were too busy standing around or on their phones. I don't believe I saw a single employee over the age of about 24. It was obvious they did not care one bit. Zero percent chance of ever returning here for us. I purchased the highest level package for my son's party, the Mega VIP. The children had 2.0 hours of jump time. The moms sat at a table in the "cafe". With our package, we were allowed to bring any outside food excluding alcohol. My oldest son went to pick up our order from Chick - Fil - A for food for the party. My son brought the food items back and sat them by my foot, in the bag. I looked away to speak to another mom at the table and heard a female yelling, "You can't have Chick - Fil -A in here! You can't have Chick-Fil - A in here!" I turned around and looked at the individual and said, "I was told that I could bring any food items that I wanted outside of alcoholic beverages." She says, "Are YOU the party mom!?" I said, "I actually am. Let's step away from my party guests." We walk away and I walk directly to the host at the guest stand and hand her our food items without saying a word to her. I turned to the employee and stated, "You ASSUMED that I brought food into here. You ASSUMED that I couldn't possibly be the party mom." She began to state, "You are sitting in the cafe, which is where people eat and we have a big sign on the door. We only have 2 packages that allow outside food." I said, "Again, you ASSUMED that I brought food in, violating your policy and are now ASSUMING that I can't afford your most expensive package, in which I actually purchased the most expensive package. Is this because I am a black woman? I can't possible able to afford to have a party here and afford the most expensive package?? I have to sneak food in??? You didn't ask me anything, you just approached me yelling and being unprofessional and disrespectful. Is that your job??? Where exactly were we to sit for 2 hours other than the cafe? Is our party room open for those 2 hours while the kids jump? I was informed that we would have it from 2:30 to 3:30, after our jump time." She proceeded to quote policy. I explained to her as she had a smug smirk on her face that her behavior was unprofessional, demeaning, and embarrassing. She profiled me. Plain and simple. I asked her who she was and she said again with a smug smirk, "I am the general manager and I'm just doing my job, sorry if I offended you" all while smirking and being very condescending. The moms at my table, who weren't women of color were appalled and commented on how unprofessional and inappropriate her approach was. Awesome place for kids and adults alike. It used to be 2 infinity but they renamed it Defy Lakeland and renovated it (although I haven't been here before so not exactly sure what they did.) They have trampolines galore, a challenging ninja warrior area, aerial silks, rock wall, dodgeball area, basketball where you can jump on the trampoline to practice dunking, a trapeze and swing and several foam pits. What a fun time, the prices are very good as well, just over $20 for an adult for 2 hours, $17 for 6 and under. They have parties, our special events as well. Look for groupons too, you can get an even better deal. You do need to purchase their jumping socks ($3 a pair) which do run very small. Plenty of parking because it's in a large strip mall. Definitely recommend Defy Lakeland for a couple hours of fun and a great work out. read more

Beware! This place is a scam! I purchased a "summer membership" and was told the membership would cancel after 3 months. A year later I'm still getting charged, also no help from kid manager on duty who is clueless about the whole process. They should be more clear about cancellations. WARNING! CALL AHEAD before you go to this place! First, the website displays that they close at 9PM (or 10PM on weekends). However, they regularly have private events which make them close early. The only way to learn about this is to read the sign they put on the door. My family drove 30 minutes from our house to jump here on a Thursday evening. Despite the fact that all online advertisement said that closing time was 9PM, we walked up to the door and read that they actually close at 7PM due to a private event. That wasn't a problem for us because it was only 5:45 when we arrived and we were happy to jump for just an hour and 15 minutes. However, upon approaching the desk to purchase socks and pay for our jumping time, we were informed that thy have a minimum jump time of 1 and a half hours. We immediately said, "that's no problem! We will pay full price for the one and a half hours of jumping, even though we know you close at 7 and we will only get 1 hour and 15 minutes of jumping." They refused to sell us jump time. We requested to speak to a manager, and the manager said the same thing. We aren't allowed to pay full price unless there is a full one and a half hours available for us to jump. So basically, they close to all new jumpers at 5:30PM, even though this is not displayed anywhere on their website or in their building. Bad business, bad policies, bad customer service. Also, the manager, Jazz, was extremely rude and should not be managing anything. read more

Went there Dec 16th 2021 for my sons bday. When checking in two female flight attendents informed me for $10.00 more we could have a membership for three months. I asked "When will my next bill be?" If you're wanting to go to a place that takes any type of safety precautions when it comes to Covid, this is not the place!!! All the employees had their mask either under their nose or just around their chin, upfront there is a computer where are you have to sign in and sign waivers. These computers are something that every single customer has to touch, yet there is no type of hand sanitizer or sanitation that goes on with it. I asked and employee if they were Taking any extra steps for safety with Covid, and she responded with "well, we Try to wipe down the polls and the trampolines more often" Which, I was there for almost 2 hours and I didn't see anybody doing any of that. If this wasn't for a work function I would've turned right around. I felt extremely uncomfortable the whole time and ended up leaving early. I did 2 hours on a Sunday morning here. I'm 40, no kids of my own, but I've done circus arts about 3 years. The oversized 6 foot Olympic style trampolines were fun, and had a great feel to them. There are 2 of these hidden in a corner. The air track is a nice substitute for a spring floor if you have tumbling skills to work on. The holds on the climbing wall were all rock solid and I had fun working on the various angles. Their ninja course was small, and a bit low to the ground for adults, but still appropriately challenging if you held your legs up out of the foam pit below. The waterfall trampolines into the foam -- I loved these and spent about 3/4 of my time here. The foam was not as clean as I'd prefer and showed signs of wear. A couple times I found damp spots in the foam pits, but it was super cold and there was a water bottle nearby so I'm putting two and two together there. They have a trapeze and silks so I was excited being an aerialist for the last few years. I tried a couple basic climbs and a hip key, all beginner tricks and got yelled at and told it wasn't allowed. -- Why the heck do you have this equipment then? This was why I knocked off a star. The actual trampolines on the floor are OK, but given the option flips and twists into the foam is what I spent my time working on. Got a great workout in even with all the kids there on a typical weekend. The kids were actually helpful trying to give me tips on how to flip more. I'm sure I was the "weird old guy wearing tights" to many of them, but I had fun. The monitors are typical teenagers. They'll try, but they kinda half ass the job and don't overly patrol. At the same time when a fight broke out with kids throwing the foam blocks at each other it went on way too long before the staff stepped in. All in all I had fun and would consider going again. read more
