I would never recommend this business. The owner held my deposit for weeks and constantly cancelled or rescheduled me, often with little to no notice.. even while I was already on the road, driving three hours each way to get there. Communication was terrible and he rarely answered calls or messages. He would go completely silent for long periods of time. When I finally managed to reach him, he was rude and dismissive, offering little explanation. It's clear that customer service and professionalism are not a priority here. If you value your time, money, or basic respect, find a different place to skydive. This one is not worth the headache. read more

This is a bare bones kind of operation, so if you're anxious about doing this and want to get over-prepped to feel secure I do not recommend them. I personally don't fall into that category, they give adequate and simple instruction and if you do what Bill says you will have the time of your life. They are currently operating out of the Gilliam airport, but will be moving to the Vivian airport in the nearish future. read more

The actual tandem skydive was okay; however, we also purchased the video/pictures package. This promised to be professionally done. That was totally WRONG. It was very amateur. Lots of video and pics of instructor's head, hand, the top of my buddy's head, or the upper 1/2 of his face. The video and pictures were NOTHING like what is on their website - absolutely nothing that could be printed and framed. It was a wasted $120 for the 2 packages. If you want to jump and are not worried about having proof, they would be okay. I gave them a 3 for prep and jump and a 1 for video, so the average was a 2. For us, we wasted $120 to get very basic amateur pictures - really wanted the nice pictures shown on their website and not really prepared for what we got. read more

Location: Airport in Gladewater, Tx Staff: Knowledgeable,…read morefriendly, professional Attire: Closed toe shoes, long pants View: Breathtaking! The location is a little tricky to find. My GPS initially took us into Gladewater. The facility is actually located just outside of town at the regional airport. There are several large, Morton-type buildings....the correct building is a large, sage green building on the right hand side after driving 0.25 miles up the lane (see the attached picture). If you make it to the airport control building, you have gone too far. The staff is incredible. Lee and Cori, the owners, are so friendly and really made us feel at home. Their passion for skydiving is obvious and they were willing and able to answer all of our questions. We had a short training session prior to our tandem dive. They walked us through what to expect once we were in the air. Lee was sick the day of our skydive, so we jumped with Bryan...who was also great. We were made to feel comfortable from arrival to departure. The scenery is fantastic. East texas is beautiful-- lots of trees and lakes to see from the sky compared to the farmlands of the Midwest (also charming in its own way). Overall, the staff is wonderful and, most importantly, we felt safe and were confident with the staff. I would recommend this place to anyone who is interested!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My girlfriend put down her $50 deposit on August 26th and the owner (Bill) would not answer the phone. She spent two weeks trying to schedule a jump with this guy and he kept saying "the plane is sick". She finally scheduled a jump for September the 6th and he calls the night before at 10 pm and left a voicemail saying they'll have to reschedule. She didn't see the voicemail and showed up to Shreveport (which is a 3 hour drive from her house) and to her surprise, no one was there. So she finally hands it over to me. I've jumped with this guy before and he's a very animated character and his business is very bare bones but I didn't have any issue when I went. I tried to schedule a jump with this guy for about two weeks and he never answers the phone whether it's call or text. We finally scheduled a jump for October 11th. We've had our deposit down for over a month now keep in mind. We leave from Winnsboro Louisiana and about two hours into my drive I have a bad feeling and text him to make sure things are good. He texts me back saying he's canceled everyone else's jump for the morning and will have to cancel my jump because again, "the plane is sick". That's two trips to Shreveport we wasted with little to no notice from this guy. Not only this, but I asked for my deposit back immediately and he gets mad and says he's been "working his ass off trying to get the plane ready for me". This was followed by a text thread of him being extremely petty and arguing back and forth with me. He still hasn't sent our deposit back and I don't think he will. This place also has the wrong address on maps so you'll have to go to the actual website. Even if you have the correct address, this place is damn near impossible to find and there's a tiny sign that says skydive Louisiana when you find it. If you want to go skydiving then don't go here. If you want $50 dollars stolen and if you want this guy to beat around the bush for 2 months then you'll love Skydive Louisiana. Enjoy these messages... read more
