Our group of three had an outstanding experience at Orange Skies Free Fall Center. I completed my 16th and 17th jumps, while the other members of our group completed their first and second jumps. The check-in process was smooth, organized, and extremely professional. Several tablets were available for completing the waivers, and the process was very easy. The manifest office staff clearly explained the check-in procedure and what we could expect throughout the day. They deserve double thumbs-up for their professionalism. Our tandem instructors, Chase and Preston, were friendly, welcoming, and immediately made everyone feel safe and appreciated. They explained everything thoroughly, and their professionalism and strong emphasis on safety were obvious. Before each jump, they even made sure that each person genuinely wanted to proceed. I jumped twice with Chase. Throughout the aircraft ride, he made sure I felt safe and confident in his abilities. He performed a very thorough safety check to ensure that my harness was fitted and tightened correctly and that I was properly secured to him. His professionalism was evident throughout both jumps, and both landings were extremely smooth. I cannot recommend Chase highly enough. The other two members of our group jumped with Preston. I watched him demonstrate the same high level of professionalism while making both jumpers feel safe and confident that they were in capable hands. I cannot recommend Preston highly enough either. The entire facility was clean, organized, and extremely well maintained. The equipment also appeared to be very well cared for. This was the fifth drop zone where I have jumped, and Orange Skies is definitely the most safety-conscious and professional operation I have experienced. It was clear that the staff were unwilling to sacrifice any aspect of safety, professionalism, or the quality of the customer experience. Anyone considering a tandem skydive in Colorado--or anywhere within reasonable traveling distance of Orange Skies Free Fall Center--should seriously consider jumping here. I cannot put into words how incredible of an experience I had today at Orange Skies. I haven't been on a plane in 23 years because I've struggled with severe anxiety revolving around claustrophobia and flying. I came up with a wild idea to face my fears and start living my life to the fullest.. go jump out of a perfectly good airplane. The staff here are absolutely incredible, knowledgeable, kind and full of good vibes. I jumped with Diego who made me feel so incredibly safe and I knew without a doubt I was in amazing hands. He kept reassuring me throughout the flight that this would be an amazing experience and kept reminding me to enjoy every second and just breathe. I also had the pleasure of having Luke be my videographer who was also extremely reassuring, comforting and made me laugh nonstop on our free fall. Orange Skies Skydiving Center is a fantastic operation! I have watched them transform the facilities at Yankee Field from 'old & rundown' to a completely updated & 'state of the art' skydiving center. The Cessna Caravan 'Supervan 900' is an amazingly safe & powerful aircraft capable of carrying 16 jumpers up to 15,000 feet above the ground in a matter of approximately 10 minutes. The staff are some of the most friendly, qualified & professional people you will find in any operation of this type. The Orange Skies staff make the beginner's tandem skydiving experience VERY FUN while staying VERY SAFE! I have purchased tandem skydives for my family & my friends. They all had the experience of their lives & now my son-in-law wants to continue on to become a certified skydiver! I visited Orange Skies for the first time a couple weeks ago and, in short, was thoroughly impressed! First and foremost, having visited several dropzones across the country (and even within Colorado) at various points, it was immediately apparent that this location prioritizes safety above all else! I can definitively say that, from experience, this isn't always the case elsewhere. Additionally, everyone I spoke with was very friendly and approachable (whether a staff member or not), and it's clear that Orange Skies has cultivated a fantastic community in their short time at Fort Morgan. TL;DR: if you're looking for a dropzone to do a tandem jump at in Colorado, I couldn't recommend Orange Skies more highly (and in fact, I've already referred some of my family and friends)! read more

Orange skies skydiving is one of the best and most knowledgeable places to go skydiving at. My girl and I were on vacation in Denver and had a free day to plan an extra activity, so we decided to go skydiving. It was our first time and we were kind of nervous, but the staff at Orange skies was very very nice, helpful and reassuring. They went over the plan very clearly many of times and made sure you were comfortable every step of the way. If you choose to purchase the media they offer I'd suggest you purchase it. Went skydiving here for my birthday along with my 2 girlfriends. The lady at the desk is super nice and helpful with any questions you have, and the instructors were awesome! My instructor, Mike, was super funny and did everything he could to put me at ease. Don't expect a lot of instruction though (it's not really needed don't worry) and make sure you wear something comfortable because that's all you're diving in. Highly recommend getting the pictures, with the Groupon it's the original tandem jump price. The hanger was still being built when I went but it looked nice. The view while diving isn't that great, no mountains in sight, but the experience is amazing nonetheless! read more

First time experience and it was amazing. There's nothing like it. Everyone was cool, welcoming and had it together. Everything was explained and safety was a focus. Went with a friend who, despite this being his 5th jump, said it was as awesome as his first. Ryan was my Guide who made it seem normal to be jumping from a perfectly good airplane (highly recommend him and his expertise). You can't go a second time if you don't go the first time. Fantastic group of people working here! They provided the right level of energy and calmness needed when showing up for a skydiving experience. I was partnered up with Deigo as my tandem skydiving expert, and he was absolutely awesome!!! I highly recommend buying the full experience package as well! Love this drop zone!! I've been dreaming of getting my A license since I was a kid, and I was able to take the first step of a tandem at Orange Skies! They have such a great community, all the people there are super friendly, and they make the ride up and back down memorable. My dad (a seasoned skydiver himself) even came up to watch and was impressed with their setup. Said it reminded him of his college days as a skydiver with how friendly everyone was. Aside from being absolutely nervous and scared, Shawn was my instructor for the fall. He was literally wonderful, high energy and no matter what fear I had he reassured me the entire way that I was going to be okay. The free fall was breathtaking, literally, but worth the experience. Shawn took the best photos and videos and made my me entire experience that much more worth every second. Absolutely recommend this instructor. would definitely ask for him again!!!! This was SO much fun. All the tandem jumpers are friendly and want to make sure everyone is having a great time. They all act like a family so it felt great to be jumping with these guys. The day I went there were a bunch of fun jumpers and other individual jumpers that went with us so it was cool to see a more full spectrum of the sport while I was there. A top notch facility run and owned by national champion skydivers, this drop zone is a hidden gem in the beautiful landscape of Fort Collins. The staff is incredible, friendly and very knowledgeable. There is a really good atmosphere, the place is beautiful, the staff is very friendly, the plane is fast, and the entire operation is run extremely professionally with a lot of attention to safety. I went for my first jump this afternoon and it was awesome. Everyone was super helpful and nice, and we were able to watch other people jump and land before which was nice. My friend and I worked with Allen and Lelland. They were super nice, very funny, and helped insure that we had a safe fun experience. Such amazing staff! Everyone was very welcoming and it felt as if they were as excited as I was to see me jump as I was to finally do it.
