I started the license A track with them and they were very thorough and helpful , the training was good , they made sure to tell me that the most important thing to remember is to pull. They checked the parachute properly. Value :: the prices are low as compared to other places so that is good. I never did the tandem so I don't know if the service is that great or not but Guys that I jumped with me once gave me a video recording for free ( I knew him from past jumps), I tipped him very well but he didn't ask for it much. They are cool people who are there to just have fun. read more

I attended the "Sup Girl Boogie 2023" event on Saturday and I was not sure what to expect being my first Boogie. The day was beautiful and lots of people jumping while you wait for your turn to jump you can relax in the shade or the sun and watch the skydivers land. Lots of excitement and laughter as well as temporary fear all around you. The place is very green and has lots of lush grass with clovers and the corn and beans provide a beautiful backdrop. The orchestration of how fast they get you in the air over and over is amazing to watch. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. The training provided is second to none keeping safety always first. This day I performed two jumps. My second one hands down so far is my most memorable one. I ended up in a cloud and I saw a mesmerizing circle rainbow as I circled to escape the cloud. Then the fun continues with a cornfield landing that required lots of hiking to get out of. My instructors Monique and Taylor went over safety and procedures over and over and were amazing. As I worked on my tan and napped and watched and learn from other jumpers it filled me with excitement and eagerness to learn more. The skydiving community is wonderful and they make everyone feel at home. Lots of storytelling and they took the time to answer all your questions and explain to you in detail and they didn't mind the millions of questions I had as a new person. As night approached they prepared for the Boogie. It started with dinner and drinks then eventually lead to crazy fun games and music and dancing and partying. If you have thought about skydiving and have not done it I would at least recommend coming to check out skydive twin cities. I had a blast skydiving with the family for the first time. It was amazing . I had a great instructor as well. I enjoyed every second of it. The ONLY thing I wasn't pleased about was how rushed they had us go through everything. Their charge system was wrong so it made it seem I paid an extra $50. Sooo much fun! My first time skydiving & I didn't have a ton of info and the instructors were very helpful, kept me calm, and gave instructions as we went. There was a lot less info beforehand than I thought but in hindsight, I think I liked having instructions as we went so I didn't have time to be nervous (or AS nervous lol). I loved the video taking too!! They did such a good job making it vlog style so if you're debating paying the extra $20 for vid instead of just photo, do it!!! I'd give it huge 10 if I could. A tandem jump was on my bucket list and amazingly my son, Jim, surprised me with a tandem jump for my 75th birthday. The whole experience was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. Word spread and everyone wished me Happy Birthday making the day even more special. The staff was phenomenal and my instructor/tandem partner, Brian from Utah, encouraged me the whole way. His calm, professional and knowledgeable manner was so welcomed. He got me to the doorway of the plane explaining every step. I was ready to take the leap. Best 75th birthday present I've ever had. We reserved a slot for our son's 21st birthday. Less than 24 hours before the jump they cancelled and offered us to reschedule. unfortunately we don't live in minnesota and are only briefly visiting. This was my second jump (the first one was SO fantastic). My youngest son wanted to try it and asked if I'd take him. He got his older brother to go along (who's now a pilot). My youngest became all nervous, but wasn't going to bow out. We all did the jump, and it was fantastic. I loved that they day was a bit cloudy, so we got to drop through the clouds. I've heard this before, but the second jump is even more fun, and I have to agree! So when we landed, my oldest said "that was cool - I'd doing again!". My youngest said "that was the most TERRIFYING thing EVER!", and I watched his face, and then he added "when can we do it again?!?!" Yeah, we're all hooked and will be doing again. I am no daredevil, but this was on my bucket list. My goal was not only to fly, but to enjoy the whole experience leading up to it as well. I didn't want to be terrified, have a panic attack, throw up or pass out.... I watched many of the videos that Skydive Twin Cities posted on their website over a period of days to desensitize myself. I visualized being a hawk soaring through the air. It worked! I wasn't scared at all and was so excited!!! If you are doing a tandem jump they do it all. You don't even have to jump. You walk to the edge and they tip you out! Blaine was my tandem buddy and he cracked jokes the entire 9 minute ride up through the clouds. I felt safe attached to him! After he pulled the chute he even let me steer. What a rush! Air rollercoaster! Our landing was perfect as we landed on our feet. Everything happened too fast. I can't describe the feeling. I wanted to go again! One of the top moments of my life (along with getting married and two childbirths....) I literally had a perma-grin for a week. When I think of my flight I well up with joy... Priceless incredible memory! Tip: Pick a day with some small puffy clouds in the sky so you can tell how high you are. 13,000! I find myself constantly looking up now remembering being above the clouds. read more

Someone from work organized a skydiving day. We had a potluck with a group of about 50 people, there was plenty of room for us to set up and there are even grills there to use. Around 25 of us jumped. It was a fabulous experience all around. I spent the extra money and got the photo and video package, and I'm so glad I did! It is worth every penny. It was my first time skydiving and it won't be my last. The staff were amazing, informative, and helpful. I cannot wait to go back. And like I said.... get the photo and video package! The co-owner, Cathy McCauley, did me a big favor that I won't mention; moreover, when I asked her if she had a pencil sharpener, she just gave me a brand new pencil ... with a big eraser. How'd she know my advanced age tendency to make note errors. The staff too was incredibly accommodating and friendly. I needed a wash cloth to shower, and staff went out of his way to find a substitute. I tandem-ed with Nate who was philosophic and a Zen Master of skydiving. Found Skydive Twin Cities on Yelp, and grabbed an early evening jump spot. Baldwin is a little out from the Twin Cities, being over the WI border, but well worth the drive. Great fun staff and top-notch modern well-maintained equipment. Everything from the staff is very organized and clearly communicated to jumpers. If you have never jumped, definitely get there a little early as the legal paperwork and mandatory safety video take some time. Based on my jump with them, I'll definitely be back! read more

My instructor didn't even though I asked about how to handle something (based on having done this before), his response "it's different for everyone ". Whats the difference between a golfer and a skydiver? A golfer goes, "splat, damn"...and a skydiver goes "damn, splat". ha! My crazy friend and I decided it was time for an adventure (or maybe it was just a quarter-ish-life-crisis, turning 30 is tough!) and when hang gliding was not an option, we deciding skydiving would be the next best plan. Man am I glad we make the leap! Skydive Twin Cities is located off the beaten path in Baldwin, Wisconsin. Its a bit of a trek, but very much worth if you if are interested in hurling yourself out of a perfectly good airplane at 13,000 feet. I would also like to note that there is no perfectly good airplane according to SDTC (and you can buy the T-Shirt saying so). Our group of 8 arrived 15 minutes early only to wait about an hour before we could jump. You have to have perfect weather conditions if you don't want to be at risk of plummeting to the earth without a parachute. I was fine waiting. Loads of paperwork to fill out that, lets be honest, you don't read because if you don't sign, you don't jump and a short video greeted you before getting weighed in (yes, you have to be a certain weight) and paying your around $200-300, depending if you had opted for video or not, if you had enough for a group discount and what day of the week you went. Save up your money and get the video, it is worth every penny. This is coming from the girl that got the video, and her video malfunctioned, and I totally regret not jumping again (discounted fee) to have a video done for free. I wish I had my video! But I got pictures and a partial refund...so...next jump, hopefully it will work! My tandem dude was amazing, making me feel much more comfortable (I was super nervous) with his jokes and extra amount of information while we made the 13,000 feet climb in the tiny, tiny plane (they call sardine airlines). The ascent took about 10 minutes, try to enjoy the ride up, it is quite cool to check out the landscape. It is slightly awkward basically sitting on someones lap for the ride, but I will take the awkwardness for the security of being safely strapped to someone who knows what they are doing. We had a few single jumpers before our tandem, so we got to watch a couple jump out by themselves before jumping ourselves. I suppose I should call it fall...there is no jumping involved. Then I also got to watch my friend fall first, she wanted to be first, so more power to her! Then, my turn. It all happens very fast, you inch your way to the edge of the plane (this is the scariest part, I was repeating "oh, f*ck, oh, f*ck over and over), sit your butt on the edge for a few moments while the photographer/videographer readies himself on the wheels, count to three and your instructor basically hurls you both out of the plane...and you just fall...and fall...and fall..........even talking about it is completely exhilarating and makes me relive it in my head! There seriously is no way to describe the feeling. You are so high that it isn't even high anymore and the air resistance is such a strange feeling! It is loud, so very loud, no communication possible while falling. You free fall for a minute, but my instructor pulled our chute early so we could play in the clouds. I am so grateful for that, because it was the coolest thing, ever! Once that chute is pulled (which, by the way hurts a bit, due to the abrupt stop) it is so peaceful, quiet and the view is amazing! You can see your shadows in the clouds and a rainbow surrounding you! They feel amazing too, you float through dense fog basically, cool and wet and just stunning! After landing safely you take off your harness and get a signed certificate. Then you wait patiently for your pictures and video. While you wait, you can shop, watch other jumpers or watch them pack chutes too. Hopefully your video works. If it doesn't, pay for the extra jump, trust me, you will want that video. I can't wait for my next jump, this Spring! read more

I truly had one of the best days of my life here. I don't really know how to rate this place because it is the only skydiving experience that I have had. I came here with my nephew on my mother's birthday (She was not so thrilled about that. Haha.) We were fitted for gear and then seated in an area where we were shown a video about what we were about to do and instructed on what to do and what to definitely not do. After that, we sat outside waiting for our plane to pick us up. During that time, we were able to watch a group of people land from their dives. Once we were on board our plane, we were strapped to our tandem partners. Shortly thereafter, we were rocketing towards the ground. I was scared out of my mind right before we jumped, but as soon as we were diving and I opened my eyes, all the fear vanished and I starting taking in the intoxicating rush. It was absolutely surreal and breathtaking. Our parachute opened after about a minute of freefall and we floated back down to Earth for about 7 minutes. The landing was smooth. After I began walking again, I felt like a different person. I couldn't stop smiling, yet I was incredibly calm... basically, in a trance. My nephew felt exactly the same way. There is no way to describe the experience unless you have done it yourself. Overall, the service was good and the experience was absolutely extraordinary. I can't think of anything negative to say. As I said before, this was my only skydiving experience, so it's hard to pick how many stars this place deserves compared to another. For now, I will give it five stars. I do intend to skydive again, so if I find out that this WONDERFUL experience that I had in Baldwin was just metocre, I will update accordingly. My nephew and I are alive to tell the tale, so check this place out! read more

Really liked this place! Really loved the jump! These guys are great and made my jump fun. They are very organized and run a first class business. It is easy to get to and affordable. Staff is excellent. One of the funnest and most adrenaline filled things I have ever done. I got the video and it's worth the extra money. Fun to share to with my family and friends. BTW, the first step out is pretty scary but after that it's just really cool falling for 60 seconds. And the slow parachute part is equally as good. I WILL do this again. Everyone was so kind, helpful, energetic, funny. It was just perfect. I had Smiley as a tandem partner. He is awesome! He was so wonderful to me. Helped calm me down, because I was definitely panicking, he was funny, and of course had a smile on his face the whole time. There was a man who did two of our videos and he stayed with us for about an hour showing us the pictures on his laptop and just telling us stories. We booked a skydive for my dad as a retirement gift. The place was great, people were friendly, and the set up made it great for us to watch it all happen. We watched about 5 groups land before my dad went and there was one particular guy that always seemed to land people very hard on their butts while everyone else just glided in or walked in. This was the guy my dad was paired with, and he landed hard enough on his rear to put stains on his shorts and now has a badly bruised tailbone. (I have gone twice with two different companies and have landed perfectly both times, once just walked in and the other didnt touch the ground until we were stopped). They were very friendly and professional but I would recommend watching a few jumps and requesting the jumper you would like to be attached to. It was a great experience but a little of the fun is gone as he is bruised and having a hard time sitting and walking. read more

I have made two trips here for tandem skydives. Both experiences were great! The first one we had a later appointment in the day and our group had to take two different flights up to jump, so we were there for several hours that day waiting our turn. This last trip recently, our appointment was first for the day and they got us all on one plane. It was so efficient and went by quickly! The instructors are all great, they make you feel comfortable. The minute long free fall from 13,000 feet and parachute ride down was even more amazing than I expected! Each time I couldn't wait until the next time I could go again. I got the photos/video the first time around and that was definitely worth it. Second time I just reveled in the moment. read more

It's 13,000 ft and 120mph of incredible adrenaline rush. I've had perma-grin since my jump yesterday. This outfit is very organized and professional.
