This is my favorite veterinary clinic in the Omaha area. We started taking our dogs there when we moved close by in Elkhorn, and were impressed and happy with their care of our dogs, especially the one that gets a little testy when going into a vet clinic. They took their time and worked with her and were able to eventually get her comfortable enough to not have to wear a muzzle, which is a huge step for her. My opinion of Skyline grew even more when one of our dogs was in a car accident that required surgery out of state. Skyline was able to stabilize our dog and keep her comfortable until she could travel for her surgery, and were so involved in her aftercare. The vets, techs and front desk staff at Skyline went above and beyond for all of my dogs, which is why we decided to stay clients even when we moved further away. Dr. Sears is our vet and she is AMAZING, she takes the time to listen to your concerns and creates the best treatment plan for your pet and you. We've had two visits to this office and they were both pleasant. I called needing to get my dog in very last minute for updated vaccinations and they were able to accommodate the next day! They did his full checkup, blood work, and vaccines. We scheduled him back for his first dental cleaning and everyone was great at communicating what the process would look like, sent cost estimates and information about the procedure by email ahead of time, and seemed to take great care of my baby boy. His teeth look great!! Vet visits are rarely cheap but I felt like it was pretty standard pricing compared to what I've been used to. I would absolutely recommend anyone to this office. read more

We only had a few chances to bring our cat to this clinic before he sadly passed away. However, in the few times that we went there, we had a great experience with both the staff and doctor we dealt with. What really stands out to me, however, was the showing of care and support the clinic provided after our cat's passing. While they were small tokens in the grand scheme of things, they were efforts that didn't need to be made for us given our short time with the clinic, and they were incredibly appreciated given our emotional and mental state at the time. Little efforts like those show the difference between a good veterinary clinic, and a great one. read more

SKYLINE: How dare you respond to my comments, which discussed Skyline incompetence, as a disagreement about costs when I wrote a review that specicifically pointed out the incompetence of the vets and staff. They missed Danny's glaucoma twice and I pushed forward for treatment and diagnosis elsewhere. He would HAVE GONE BLIND AND BEEN IN HORRIBLE PAIN. That is not the only illness your staff missed. I believe that you are all a group of incompetent jerks. This has nothing to do with money as you can see I always take out my checkbook and pay and started bring my pets to Skyline over three years ago when I moved to Elkhorn. Everytime, EVERYTIME, there have been mistakes or an illness was misdiagnosed You can; however, expect me to sue you in small claims court and the reason will be to list in the claim all of the veterinary mistakes made by Skyline. My suit will afford me the opportunity to put a legal stake in the ground about the Skyline incompetence. Then I will see what I can do to get Dr. Sears License yanked. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Skyline vet. We have now been seen by three different providers and have felt very cared for and well taken care of every time. Our first visit was with Dr. Marriott. Our 12 year old lab was exhibiting some concerning signs. Dr. Marriott listened and provided different treatment options. In the end we chose to monitor and she was very supportive and aware of our dogs, age and not over treating. As a healthcare provider, I appreciated her logical and levelheaded approach. On visit number two Dr. Ryan cared for our lab who had an acute onset of back leg instability and paralysis. She too talked through our options and like Dr. Marriott recognized that at 12 years of age her quality of life was as important as quantity. She helped us get Stella over the rainbow bridge with tremendous compassion, honesty, and care. We are now the proud parents of Gracie the Great Dane. We had our first vet visit with Dr. Kellie. She was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and helpful in guiding us with her giant breed. I am so relieved to have found a vet clinic that educates, supports and cares for our pets as much as us, the owners. read more

Went here for the first time yesterday and wow was I impressed! The techs and vets were clearly living their best lives in the career they are most suited for. They were so kind and really treated my elderly cat with such amazing love and care. The prices were very small town fees with big city professionalism. a minute ago I've been taking my dogs and cat to Skyline Veterinary Clinic since they opened and was so glad to hear when they opened. Dr Samatha Ryan and the other Docs are wonderful. They actually care and are really knowledgeable. Prices are good and they always find a way to get me in. It was my first time going to this vet clinic and it wasn't a great experience. I communicated a concern to the vet tech and she just completely ignored my concern and was not communicating with me it seemed to me like she didn't want to be there and just walked out of the room like she was in a hurry while my pet was still on the scale.. I also found this place to be very pricey and if im going to pay that much for my appointment I expect to be receiving great service. Im very disappointed and will not be returning. read more

The first visit was complimentary which was nice to offer. The front staff and techs are very friendly and welcoming to to my border collie. There were no hard sales tactics used on optional treatments or products, unlike another facility I went to, a year ago in the same vicinity. The place is very clean and after each pet and owner leave the exam room, a staffer is cleaning the chairs, floor, etc which is a great sign. I would highly recommend giving this vet a thumbs up for service, cleanilness, and professionalism. read more

I first used Skyline Veterinary Clinic when my normal vet office was too busy to get me in for at least a day. I was truly amazed at the care that we received. They were able to get us in immediately and provided very professional care on a personal level. I felt as though we were family. They had other clients with appointments but realized the urgency in my specific situation. I'm not sure if my kitten would have made it through the night without their help. I can definitely recommend this Clinic. We will be switching all of the care of our kitties to this office. read more

I found Skyline Veterinary Clinic when my own vet was "too busy" to help my aging and very sick dog. Although we were unable to save my dog, their professionalism and compassion was so great I moved my other dog's services into their care. We have been with them since. Their clinic is clean, bright, friendly and professional. They have never tried to order unnecessary tests or procedures and now we have two dogs again and both like their visits. We had to have our sweet little poodle (peaches) euthanize Friday Sept. 28. When Dr. came in I asked her if she was going to give her a shot first to put her to sleep while I would be holding her and saying good bye. When Dr. brought her back to me she had already put a tub in her leg without giving her the shot. She was in a lot of pain and moaning . I couldn't get her calmed down. It hurt me so much. She had never ever been in pain in her life. I keep seeing that in my mind and i makes me feel so bad. Why didn't the Dr. give her a pain shot before putting the tub in? I will take a long time for me to get over this sight of her. I wanted her to go in peace and not in pain. We've had pets put to sleep before and Dr. always gave them a shot before they did anything else to them, so they could fall asleep peacefully in my arms. We paid for this procedure by check and did not get a receipt stating what it was all for, so when we come in to get her remains, I will be asking for the receipt. read more

The challenge has nothing to do with my assessment of the Clinic overall, the staff, or the care and service.....the challenge is keeping this review "short and simple"!
