Stumbled upon this place while I was out driving and decided to give it a try! I ordered the pulled…read morechicken sandwich with Mac and cheese & Cajun Chicken Gumbo. Let's start with the sandwich, I'd say it was a 7/10. It lacked the flavor that I was expecting from a bbq place, I didn't really get any Smokey flavor like I wanted. The Mac & cheese was creamy and surprisingly good! I was also amazed at how good the Cajun chicken gumbo was, I would say that was the best thing I ordered! It was packed with flavor and a great amount of spice. I wasn't expecting the gumbo to taste better than the sandwich but the guy next to me did let me know that they were known for their wings! Next time I will go for the wings, the sandwich was good but it lacked a lot of flavor! I also ordered the butter pie, presentation was sloppy and it didn't taste as I expected it would! Overall service was quick and I'll be back for those wings.

My order was takeout, so this review is solely for their food…read more Among 7 adults, we ordered 3 lbs of pulled pork, sides of beans, Mac and cheese, twice baked taters, and green beans. Everybody loved everything, but with preferences. First of all, 3 lbs for 7 people is excessive as we learned, it lasted 2 meals with leftovers even for all 7 people. The pulled pork was moist, and fairly flavorful. My biggest gripe is not getting additional sauce to make it spicy etc to everyone's preference. The sides in order of everyone's preference: (1) Beans - great and a must have. (2) Twice baked taters - amazing potatoes with cheese and bacon, it went fast. (3) The Mac and cheese and green beans were both good, but not on the same level as the taters and beans, so I will not order them again. Overall, very pleased with the food and will plan on returning.

Had a great experience here! This restaurant had been on my hit list for a while. I was finally in…read morethe area and made the excellent decision of stopping in for lunch. There are so many great looking options on the menu that I couldn't choose just one. I got the Reuben sandwich and the chicken salad sandwich, thinking I'll eat half of each for lunch, and then the other half for dinner (is that how it actually went down? I'll never tell). Both of these were fantastic options for lunch. The Reuben was everything I wanted it to be, and the chicken salad had little differentiating touches that were thoughtful and made the sandwich better. The sides were great too! The locale is very sports bar-y, but expansive. The staff is so sweet and wonderful and took great care of me. Can't wait to be back!

We were seated immediately. The staff working were very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. They had TV's all over the walls so it would be the perfect spot to watch a game with friends. The food reminded me of Roosters. It's more towards bar food but we enjoyed it. I got the wedge salad and the southwest egg rolls. I ended up ordering way too much food. The portions were pretty big so I had plenty of leftovers. If you can only get one thing, get the egg rolls! They're similar to the ones at Chili's but better. They had a slight kick to them. I also like how you can see every ingredient in them because sometimes at other places it looks like the filling was blended. You can also see the seasonings they used so you know it has flavor

Hole in the wall place. I hadn't heard of them until I saw them pop up in a Google search…read more Really small parking lot but seems they do a lot of takeout orders. We shared japchae, tteokkbeokki, and one of the beef soups on the menu. Plenty of food for the two of us to share! We also didn't wait too long for the food. It's run by a husband and wife team. The wife was mostly running the front of house. It didn't get too busy and she checked on us a few times. They do offer some unique items I haven't seen at other Korean places in town. It's definitely a selling point to coming here. I did feel like the food was a bit bland. But I know we love our salt in America so maybe that's how it should taste. I thought the tteokkbeokki was exceptional. It really tasted homemade. It was nice and soft! Glad I came by to visit!

We were greeted warmly by the owner. I was excited to try the Sundae Gukbap: sausage soup. I'm not aware of any other Louisville Korean place that has it on the menu. Hubby ordered the Sweet and Sour Pork. I also got the grilled rice cakes as an appetizer. Everything came out pretty quickly. The rice cake sticks are fried to crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They're so good w the sweet spicy sauce drizzled on top. My soup was a bit of a challenge to me due to the abundant mix of pork "stuff": liver, blood sausage...etc. we both liked the delicious SS Pork. But I do wish this one had more stuff in it other than battered pork strips. When I return, I will try something more vanilla than the Sundae Gukbap: but more exciting than the SS pork.
