Although we live in the area, this was our first visit to Slanted Window. Parking was easy and convenient. We entered on a Sunday afternoon, and quickly noticed that we could seat ourselves. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. A mix of soft rock played in the background; it was at just the right volume. We ordered a flatbread and a salad, and shared both. We ate every single bite of both. We are already planning to return.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! We have been here several times and not only is the service always amazing, but the food is delicious! We've had many different types of their flat bread, and every one is a 10/10. Even the vegan flatbread exceeded our expectations. The beet salad is one of the best I've ever had as well. They have live entertainment often as well. We love the esthetic too, with the garage doors that open, the picnic tables and the original looking bar.

Wanted to try someplace new in Franklin and landed on Slanted Window based upon their excellent reviews. Wow... We were really impressed. Old converted gas station with a small but lovely space indoors and an outdoor patio that accepts dogs. They even have a special menu item just for your dog! We were warmly greeted and able to sit wherever we wanted. Service was fast and charming, and everything was unbelievably delicious. We started with the smoked trout dip, which was fresh and perfectly flavored. My husband ordered the bourbon tasting flight and was very excited to try some local bourbons he wouldn't otherwise have had the opportunity to taste. He even wound up buying a new local bottle. We split the beet salad with added chicken and it was perfect. All the ingredients were super fresh, loads of beets and goat cheese, and these most delicious almonds. It was a large enough serving for us to share and we both really enjoyed it. My son ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was also amazing. It was served with chips and it was a massive serving, he couldn't even finish it all. Prices were reasonable based upon the quality and quantity of food you received, and it was so clean and quaint. Highly recommend this spot!

Very cool place!! Great bartender and lots of locally made wines and spirits. One of the best old fashioned I've had in a long time! It helps when the bartender makes tweaks to recipes because he things adding a hint of a mother flavor will help the overall taste!!! LOVE THIS PLACE!! Will be back from Spartanburg! Try the key lime pie!

I recently stopped by for lunch and was not disappointed. I ordered a wine flight, charcuterie board, and tomato soup. The patio is dog friendly and the staff is wonderful. They have a large menu with something for everyone.

Wow! This is one of those rare finds that you will think about long after you have visited! Adorable place...unique, clean and well decorated. I love that you can bring your dog...they had water bowls ready. Food and drinks were outstanding! Service was on pointe! I had a wine flight and loved their white and rose, my picky whiskey-loving husband got a whiskey flight and liked one so much (Weldon Mills Rockfish) that we went to a local ABC to get some bottles. He is a Green Spot guy and the bar is set high. I got the Fig appetizer and the beet salad w/chicken/no goat cheese...so good! My husband had a delicious flatbread. Highly recommend!

Found Slanted Window yesterday from an Instagram algorithm. We saw that for National Dog day they were hosting people and pets with an adoption event with Appalachian Animal Rescue. We loaded up our golden and went for a drink and a bite. A cute renovated service station. I love a sustainable moment of using the buildings and spaces provided. We got a beverage each, Rose for me and a Bourbon Southern Cross for him. Additionally we snacked on a charcuterie board and our golden had a pup ice cream. Also I totally forgot to flag our gluten allergy but they were happy to provide gluten free crackers that were actually tasty. A very lovely stop on our adventures today. We look forward to coming back when it isn't the 2 hottest weeks of the year.

Great people and adorable store front. Unfortunately both bottles of wine I wanted were not available due to no inventory.

The location is beautiful, and I think we'd have loved it more if the weather had been sunny/not rainy/warm, but with that said it was still a beautiful hillside (nice view of the mountain too). The setup is a little weird; it felt like the wine shop was set up in someone's garage and not really a legitimate wine shop. Their indoor seating was a little bit awkward and having a place for larger groups like ours to sit for a full tasting would've been appreciated. As it was, we had to crowd around a small bar table. The staff were friendly though, so overall it was quite a nice experience considering this is in somewhat rural Georgia. The bathroom setup is weird... again, didn't feel like I expected a winery to feel because the bathrooms are in a true 'outhouse' but they were clean. So that's just my personal preference. If the environment had been better suited to cold/rainy weather and had better seating options, we probably would've stayed longer. Not a bad place to stop though!
