I wanted the frosting to be in our wedding colors. Since caramel and peanut butter were already tan/ivory, she could not make them in turquoise and coral. Instead of that, she provided cupcake sleeves in the colors! These were so beautiful. I had also explained I wanted the topper to be a seashell/beachy and she nailed it!! My guests said her cupcakes were one of the best they have eaten!! And I agree! I love Georgetown Cupcakes in DC, but hers topped GT cupcakes! Tasted just like hibachi you would get at a restaurant. We had a huge amount of food leftover so definitely plan for having leftovers from this the next day. I was worried based off some of the reviews I read on here that the experience would be rushed, but it was not at all. Our chef did an amazing job of making it a show and entertaining everyone. My young kids were with us and he really made it fun for them and had them cracking up. He brought balloons for them too which they loved. In early May, we originally booked our dinner for late August for 5:30 PM because we had plans scheduled both before and after. Just four days before our reservation, we were told they needed to move us either earlier or three hours later. We were offered a free appetizer or a 10% discount as compensation, but since this was a bachelorette party with an entire day of plans already scheduled, it was still frustrating to have to rearrange everything at the last minute. We ended up making 5:00 PM work. The food itself was delicious, and having hibachi at our Airbnb was a really fun concept. Unfortunately, the service took away from what should have been a memorable experience. Our chef was Wisdom. We were specifically told that unlimited sake was included, both in the information we received and directly by Wisdom over text. However, every time we asked for more sake, he seemed annoyed. The sake was served by shooting it directly into our mouths with a water gun, which we initially thought was fun and were totally on board with. Unfortunately, it became excessive. Several times, he shot it with so much force that it went directly into the back of our throats. At that point it was no longer fun and was genuinely uncomfortable for some of us. We had also spent a lot of time getting ready for our bachelorette party, and repeatedly being shot in the face with sake resulted in several of us having makeup running down our faces. The most frustrating part was that about halfway through dinner, Wisdom simply stopped giving us sake. Multiple people asked for more and our requests were completely ignored. There was no explanation or acknowledgment that he was choosing not to provide it anymore. This was especially disappointing because unlimited sake was explicitly part of what we were told was included. We weren't expecting everything to be perfect, but we did expect the experience we booked and paid for. The food was great, but the last-minute scheduling change and especially the handling of the sake made the overall customer experience disappointing. For a bachelorette party that we had been planning and looking forward to for months, unfortunately this wasn't the experience we hoped for.
