We came here on a Sunday afternoon and it was so dead, we thought it might be closed! It filled up a bit afterwards, but there were still only 4-5 others in the restaurant when we left. I ordered the NE clam chowder and Lobster Grinder. The chowder was rich and creamy with loads of bacon. They brought out my sandwich, which turned out to be the Lobster Roll by mistake. The server acknowledged the mistake and said we could keep the LR, as well as the grinder. No complaints here! The lobster roll was fantastic! I realized then why it was so pricey (MP=$25). They do not skimp on the lobster meat at all. Normally I despise mayo, but the sandwich had very little, so I barely even noticed it. It's also tossed in a light butter and lemon sauce, which was just right. The lobster grinder sandwich was pretty good too, but paled in comparison to the lobster roll. It didn't have near the amount of fish and was chilled in comparison to the warm LR. Of course, it's also $10 cheaper, so there's that. My brother had the fish burrito and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. It was huge and he could barely finish it. Neither of us would be eating much for dinner that night, as we were both stuffed. I was beyond excited to hear that I was going to be able to get a lobster roll in Utah of all places, and the prices definitely reflect that, but I'd say it's well worth it. Honestly it lived up to all my expectations (having only ever had lobster rolls on the east coast). The only thing that I wasn't over the moon about was the Shrimp Ceviche and tortilla chips. The Clobster Grilled Cheese was the same all of the makings of a great grilled cheese are there (crisp sourdough, melty cheese, etc.), but again no lobster flavor. New place just opened. Coworkers wanted to check it out and it's a fantastic place! When I first entered, I was impressed by the menu. It is engraved on the wood and it puts a really nice touch to it. I ordered the Surf n Turf lobster burger + chowder fries (clam chowder poured on fries!) The burger looked so pleasing, I even forgot to take a pic before I took my first bite... lol. Sorry about that. But hey maybe it can be the Apple version of burger. Anyways, the burger is gigantic and everything is so fresh and full of flavors! Definitely recommend that. Fries was pretty cool too. For those of you loving In n Out animal style, this is definitely a step up. I'm personally not a huge fan of heavy food so didn't enjoy it as much but that's just personal preference and not the food's fault. I would definitely come back to try out the other options. Friends had Fish n Chips. They are huge! I'd say avg person would be full with just 1 fish n chips but they have the doubles option if you are feeling hungry. My husband and I tried slap fish for the first time today. We were very impressed with the food and environment! For how busy it was at lunchtime they got us our food very quickly -- a huge plus when you are hungr. We ordered the fish burrito and a shrimp Po boy -- both were out of this world good. We also got a lot of food for the amount of money we spent. Each menu item was a bit pricier, something that can be expected at s seafood restaurant. One sandwich could have fed both of us because of the size and because each item we ordered came with a side. One drawback was that when we asked to substitute the side that originally came with our orders for something healthier, they said that they could not do that. I was a little confused as to why they couldn't switch out the sides because each side cost the same amount. This was a bit of an inconvenience for someone who doesn't love fries. we have already recommended this restaurant to family and will most definitely be eating here again! read more

Delicious food for a great price and friendly service. The food here can be greasy as most of it is deep fried. The portions are pretty huge and I just couldn't finish the giant plate of deep fried fish I had ordered. Pay attention to the specials board! Lots of people here were confused about the fish taco. From what was explained to me, it is one giant taco, not a bunch of small tacos like what you might get elsewhere. There is wifi here but you have to ask for it. I finally made it through the crowds and got to try this new place out. Utahns love their chains, so getting a meal at a new one takes a few tries during the first couple of weeks. I tried twice before this visit and gave up due to lines out the door. This time I got in to a line just about to the door. The line moved fairly fast though and I was soon ordering a double fish and chips. Others have told me a single is enough...they were right. These fish and chips are big. I went with a soda and then some of their Awesome sauce and tartar sauce as well. The soda was good. I like when places have something other than Coke/Pepsi in the fountain. They have creme, black cherry, and a few other sodas. A nice change from the usual. They also have a rack of hot sauces you can choose to spice up your meal with, which is essential for me. They've got a lot of the Iguana and El Yucatan sauces. I thought the Iguana Island Gold Habanero sauce actually went really well with the fish and chips. The wait for food wasn't too bad. Probably under 7 minutes. As mentioned, the fish was huge. Two huge pieces was too much for me when combined with the fries. Unfortunately the large size of the fish causes issues...the center parts of batter on both of mine were a little on the soggy side. The batter and seasoning was really good though, and the small twist they have on their tartar sauce was great as well. I had a side of Awesome Sauce (Some sort of chili dipping sauce) with the fries and that was pretty good. The fries themselves were a little cold though. I think they would have been really good hot. I really do enjoy fish and chips, and this place is one of the best places I've had in Utah. It's not London, or even San Francisco, but it is good. I really liked this place. The food was fresh and very tasty. I am knocking it down a star, because saying "Market Price" for the lobster roll was very misleading. I was shocked that it was $25. There should be a sign that says what the price is for that day and how they arrived at that price. I have tried a number of other items on the menu and they were all outstanding. Short story food was great, service not so much. Headed to this fast casual eatery in Lehi for lunch with colleagues during a day long retreat. We work for the state and asked for our bill to be tax exempt as required by law in Utah. They couldn't accommodate. There were 7 of us ordering on one check. All the orders came out quickly except my grilled shrimp taco. They brought out a grilled fish taco. I explained my order and the gal delivering the food looked confused and returned to talk to the other young lady behind the counter and the manager at the grill. They had a conversation and the other young lady returned to my table asking "Now what was wrong with your taco?" I explained I ordered grilled shrimp but grilled fish. She said "Well we checked the order and there was only one fried shrimp on the ticket and the shrimp is $2 more so I can just give you this." I was clearly irritated and said fine. She said - "well I can make you shrimp but it wasn't on the ticket sooo it's more." I declined and ate the fish. Again, the food was great. We tried the lobster taquitos and they were delicious. The red sauce on the fish was amazing - I could drink it. It's really too bad this place can't offer good food AND good service. I would have given 5* if it wasn't for the put-upon attitude and unwillingness to consider the ticket could have reflected the servers mistake when they pushed the grilled fish not the grilled shrimp button. Oh well - my fault I guess. I still enjoyed the fish. Update: After posting this review - the manager reached out and apologized offering to send a gift card to try them out again. We came on Sunday afternoon, so there was only one other group in the entire building - which was nice. If you don't like long waits or a lot of people, middle of the day on Sunday is the way to go. As for the food, my boyfriend and I split the lobster taquitos, which were pretty good. I would say that 2 for $6.50 is definitely worth it. My boyfriend got the fish and chips, which were huge, and I got the epic fish burrito (grilled, not crispy) We split our food and I liked the fried fish a lot. Very tasty. As for the burrito, I don't see the appeal. It was mostly rice, beans and coleslaw. I don't remember biting into any part that I thought, "oh yeah that's delicious." The fries tasted old, but after eating the burrito, I wasn't hungry enough to care. The burrito is HUGE! Maybe if you're thinking of getting the burrito, ask for it crispy. As a keto dieter, I am always concerned with choices, but was able to get the surf and turf without the bun and extra veggies instead of fries... however this with a drink ended up being $21 so although the flavor was good for this lettuce wrapped burger, the cost was way beyond what is should be for "fast food". I like the style and choices for a regular non keto person, however again, I think the pricing is prohibitive to ever coming back. Good flavor just is not enough. My other interest is the way they talk about sustainability and fresh seafood, but they never say if everything is full whole and authentic to its name... is the lobster r100% lobster, and from where? I got the fish of the day. Lobster in a bowl of rice and some vegetables. The lobster was cooked perfectly and the vegetables were great as well. And besides being really noisy in there and hard to hear anyone my experience was pleasant. Unfortunately they have no tea. The bowl is $12 and the lobster up charge is 16. This place feels like fast food and it is really fast. But just we are paying over $30 for a fast food meal. Almost hard to justify. Nothing wrong with the food.
