My journey started in 8/2021 for an arthritic right big toe and an unstable right ankle…read more At the time I was 164lbs First step was a walking boot for 6 weeks to get the swelling down and also got custom orthotics, customized to my anatomy for my specific conditions. Previously I had chiropractic orthotics that didn't improve anything. I wasn't able to exercise and changed my nutrition to help reduce foot pain and lose weight. We Discussed surgery as an option with the intent of treating everything nonsurgically so I did PT for 3 months to work on the right ankle and big toe, and right knee. My pain continued to improve as I lost weight and followed PT at home. An added benefit was that he was able to successfully treat my toenail fungus. Starting March 2022 I did 90 days of lamisil and an anti fungal cream once a day (and I continue to use it now). By 3-4 months i was no longer ashamed to wear sandals!

I found this doctor via a video and he seems awesome. I called while I was out of town and spoke…read morewith a nice lady who scheduled an appointment 3 weeks out at 12:00. noon. (It is an hour and half drive for me.) I'm in a lot of pain but decided it was worth the wait. Suddenly then sent a "reminder" that my appointment is at 11:15. I called to let them know that a mistake was made and spoke to two of the rudest, most unprofessional women (one was named Hilary) I have encountered in medical setting. No apology. No sorry we made a mistake. And "That's when he takes his lunch. He can't see you then. Do you want to reschedule or not?" Some people have no business interacting with patients. Just look for another practice.

I've had a truly disappointing and costly experience with this podiatrist and his office. At my…read morefirst visit, I was prescribed custom orthotics that were said to potentially delay surgery. I was also given a list of shoes I should wear and, based on that, purchased multiple pairs out of pocket. At my second visit, the physician seemed rushed and uninterested in my questions. I was handed the orthotics with no proper fitting or instruction. I was never told to remove my original shoe inserts -- a critical step I only learned months later after experiencing serious knee, hip, and back pain. That's knee, hip & back pain. I did not have prior. I later spoke with the office manager, who admitted the nurse should have fitted the orthotics for me -- something that never happened. Despite this failure in care, I was still billed for two full office visits through my insurance and paid both co-pays. Between the orthotics, shoe purchases, and time off work, this has cost me nearly $1,000. When I asked the office to take back the orthotics or refund me, they offered only a refitting appointment with a new provider. However, a second podiatrist confirmed that the orthotics I was given are completely wrong for my condition and can not be reworked. This means I'm now out of the full cost of the orthotics and have endured months of pain due to poor guidance and rushed, substandard care. Additionally, I was walked around the office to X Ray rooms & patient rooms without any foot protection. Is that the standard here because it hasn't been in other offices across the US that I have attended nor does it seem sanitary in an environment where foot issues and funguses are being treated. Patients deserve careful attention and clear instructions -- not quick dismissals and financial loss that result in more pain and problems.  Their office has declined to respond after I reached out to them to let them know how the appointment went with the new podiatrist yesterday, per their request & assurance they would be available.  The front office staff has always been kind & efficient. Unfortunately that's not what I went to the office for. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

Not sure what the medical care is like here because no one answers their phone to schedule and…read moreappointment. I called multiple times and every time I get a very basic answering machine message saying they are away from their desk and leave a message. I am calling when I am able to schedule the appointment and have my calendar in front of me. I don't want to wait for you to call me back when it suits you. By then I will be working, or not have my schedule available. If you can't answer and schedule my appointment when I call, I dont leave message hoping you will grace me with a call back, I go on to the next podiatry office that will take my call. I understand if it happens occasionally as everyone is human and needs a break or gets too busy with people at their desk. But it seems to be the default at this office for the machine to pick up as I called many times.

I took my elderly mother here today for a broken bone in her foot and sprained ankle. This was our…read moreexperience: 1. There are no handicap entrances so I had to get her wheelchair in the door by myself. 2. The nurse called her back. I get up to get her wheelchair and follow the nurse but the nurse just left. We walked into the back to look for her and she was already in a room sitting down. We just had to search and find her. 3. The nurse didn't even greet her. She turned around and said "you bring x-rays?" We weren't given a copy from the urgent care so we did not. The nurse said she needed to have radiographs and looked at my mom and said "you can walk?" I said she could not. The nurse said "it's just a few doors down and you can't take the wheelchair." I pushed my mom down the hall myself and the room she wanted my mom to walk to was all the way at the end of the hallway. 4. My mom could not get up to stand on the x-ray. The nurse walked into the hallway and stared at the receptionist. Another nurse told me that my mom needed help. I looked at her and said "isn't that your job?" And she said "yes, but I'm busy". 5. I helped my mom onto the x-ray. Finally a helpful man came in to assist. Other than the doctor he was the most helpful and kind person we interacted with. 6. The nurse taking the x-rays was laughing and talking to another nurse and was too busy having a good time while my mom was struggling to stand. The man holding my mom upright had to tell her to snap the pictures. 7. The nurse wheeled my mom back to her room and wheeled the chair into another nurse, right on my mom's broken foot. My mom had to jerk her foot away. Both nurses laughed. 8. The nurse was not listening in the room and we had to repeat ourselves multiple times. She also didn't know basic medical terminology. My mom is a retired nurse and had to help her. 9. The doctor was fine. No complaints here. 10. The nurse did not help put my mom's boot back on. 11. I asked where the wheelchair was and the nurse said "it's here" pointing to the hallway and said "I think it's locked but I don't know how to unlock it" and left it for me to do. 12. As we were checking out the same nurse who "assisted" with our appointment was laughing loudly in the hallway and said "I'm f***ing retarded". I'm sorry for even writing the r-word here, but found this completely inappropriate. Mind you, there was a patient with (I assume) epilepsy in the lobby who was wearing a helmet. How inconsiderate and completely lacking empathy. We will not be returning. I have never seen such awful service or patient care at a medical facility.
