I never knew how incredible Salvation Army Thrift Stores are. I've been to many other thrift stores…read more& somehow missed Salvation Army. The stores are clean & the layout is great. They offer a bit of everything & the inventory turns over quickly. The furniture is all cleaned & many pieces look brand new. Do take the chairs & such for a test run. As, in all thrift stores, I found recliners that did not want to cooperate. I also saw a couch & loveseat that looked like it belonged in a designer showroom. I have learned 1 "big"lesson....don't go home to sleep on the idea of a purchase. I made that mistake & when I returned the next day, the item I wanted was gone!
