We got the wet suits and booties which was only like $7/person total. I'd highly recommend getting it. Kept us warm. We did that Level 3-4. My kids are 16 and 19 and loved every bit and want to do it again. I felt like the level 3-4 was doable though we had some close calls. Out of the 6 raft's no one went over. Theses guides are skilled. The time is exhilarating and serene at the same time. You get to to tip your guide after. We also choose to get a digital photo which the photographer does an incredible job capturing our moments. After you get to enjoy some of the best hot chocolates in town or coffee. This establishment is legit. It's a bit pricey after everything is done but so worth the experience with the family!

He grew up in Cody, so he is very knowledgeable about the greater Cody area as well as Yellowstone. Mike answered every single question we asked. He made sure we saw wildlife and even timed our trip that when we arrived at Old Faithful, we only had to wait 10 minutes to see the eruption. Mike picked us up at our hotel and returned us there. It was almost 12 hours door to door. It was a long day but very worth it!!

We prepaid $458, woke up before dawn, drove 90 minutes, and stood in the cold, pouring rain before 7AM on a street corner with no shelter, waiting for this company's so-called Yellowstone National Park day trip. The tour van NEVER showed. We called repeatedly. "Michael" kept brushing us off -- "She's only 2 minutes late... she has other stops" -- and told us to just keep waiting. One full hour in the rain later, we asked for a refund. His solution? "Come back tomorrow." (As if we had nothing better to do than waste another vacation day waiting on a sidewalk.) The next day, they denied our refund. To add insult, the "guide" claimed she drove past us THREE TIMES and had "witnesses." Yet never called us -- despite having our phone numbers -- then blamed us for "missing" the pickup! She even admitted this happens often... then hung up on us. BOTTOM LINE: * No-show Yellowstone pickup * No way to reach actual guide/driver * ZERO customer service -- only excuses * NO refund Save yourself the headache and heartbreak. Choose a reputable Yellowstone wildlife tour, Yellowstone sightseeing tour, or Yellowstone day tour with real transportation, real communication -- and at least a shred of integrity. We visited on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised that the park wasn't too crowded. Because of this, we had extra time for a few additional stops along the route, which was a great bonus. All of the stops were amazing, especially Old Faithful and Artist Point. We were also lucky enough to see an incredible variety of wildlife, including a grizzly bear, black bear, bison, elk, and more. One thing to note is that most stops are about 20-50 minutes long, so there isn't a lot of time to fully explore each area or purchase food. Our group chose to include lunch through the company, and it was more than enough for lunch. I would suggest to bring some snacks if you're a snacker. I loved the water bottle design they provided and ended up bringing it home as a souvenir. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Yellowstone!

The staff in the office were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The snowmobiles were in great shape and work flawlessly! Our guide, Roy, did a super job! He gave us clear instructions on how to use the machines and the 'rules of the road.' Along the way he stopped at the interesting/beautiful locations and taught us many interesting facts. While we were there our guide showed up and introduced himself. He asked if we had any previous experience and talked about various locations, their conditions and where he thought we could go fish. Since our casting is far from professional and current conditions of the rivers were high and fast, we opted for a lake. We saw the sulfur pools and learned so much more than just reading the signs. She provided thermometer guns so the kids could see the variation in temp from pool to mud pot to steam vent. She timed our arrival at Old Faithful PERFECTLY! We waited just 10 minutes and watched from a much better spot than the general viewing area (and learned that an average blast can fill 150 bathtubs!!). We stopped at Old Faithful Inn and the Lake Lodge. We saw Firehole Falls and the Lower Falls. We lunched in a beautiful, shaded picnic area with truly DELICIOUS sandwiches and HOMEMADE cookies!!! We spent over 11 hours trekking 270 miles total from our vacation home in Big Sky into the park and back. It was a total gift for everyone to be able to enjoy all the scenery and learn along the way and not have to drive. I ALMOST FORGOT!! We saw a GRIZZLY swim across the river! Plentiful Bison (they are such MASSIVE creatures), Laura pointed out Osprey nests, a pelican!! And so so much more!! It will be hard not to do Yellowstone this way EVERY trip. The tour started off great. The owner, Jay was our guide. About halfway into the tour, the it starts. Jay brings up Trump and how attending "Trump's school" was the thing he's most proud of. It was like he needed us to know he was MAGA. Jay followed up at the next stop by telling my family how he and everyone hates Californians because they drive up the home prices. Why did Jay feel compelled to say these things? For the record, I am originally Texas, have lived in Californian for 20 years, don't own or plan on buying property in Montana, and was visiting as a tourist pumping my tourist dollars into the local community. It's a free country. Jay can run his business anyway he likes. So, if he doesn't want to serve people from California and feels compelled to profess his love for Trump, that's cool. I wish he had posted that information on his website and not waited until we were in the middle of a 4 hour tour. I would have respected his honesty and simply booked another company. I don't think this would be bad business for Jay. Marketing exclusively to the MAGA community would probably be great business. Anyway, enjoy your time in Montana.
